Where can I travel with an e-Visa?

There are two types of e-visas:

  1. actually electronic, that is, you issue it via the Internet and you are allowed into the country without pasting a paper visa into your passport (for example, in Cyprus);
  2. electronic permission to obtain a visa upon arrival, when you only receive a visa permission via the Internet, and at the airport you are pasted a visa into your passport (for example, in Vietnam, if your stay exceeds 15 days).

Both visas are convenient and save a lot of time and nerves. Usually, in order to obtain a visa permit, you need to pay a fee and send scanned copies required documents. Below is a list of countries where in 2020 you can travel without a visa in the traditional sense - that is, you can either apply for a visa permit via the Internet or get an electronic visa.

  • Australia (3, 6 or 12 months, you can apply online. BUT you need to pass biometrics): tickets →
  • Gabon (visa for 1, 2, 3 or 6 months)
  • (60 days, visa permission needed):
  • (90 days, with an extension of another 90 days)
  • (90 days, free registration. Condition: entry to Cyprus only from the territory of the Russian Federation, and not from third countries. If you are flying on a connecting flight or from another country, you need to apply for a regular visa.):
  • Ivory Coast (3 months)
  • (30 days, extension is possible. You can stay in the country up to 180 days within one trip. Free registration.): tickets →
  • Montserrat (1 year, multiple entries)
  • Myanmar (28 days in the country with a visa validity of 90 days)
  • Sao Tome and Principe (30 days)
  • (35 days from visa issuance): tickets →
  • Solomon Islands (3 months, free)
  • Sierra Leone (30 days)

Where can you fly cheaply without a visa?

Do you want to relax on a budget and without a visa? Choose a country from the list below. We have compiled a list of visa-free countries for Russians and states with simplified entry, where you can fly quite inexpensively.

Indicated minimum prices in rubles for air tickets (round-trip) for one person. The cost of tours is indicated for two for 7-10 nights. We are watching flights from Moscow.

Search for air tickets. Compare the prices of different airlines on the Skyscanner search engine - smart search will help you find cheap tickets.

Abkhazia

To get to Abkhazia, you need to fly to Sochi airport (Adler). Further ground transport we get to the Abkhazian resorts. Tickets to Adler cost from 3,000 rubles, tours to Abkhazia - from 20,000 rubles.

Vietnam, Thailand and Sri Lanka

Inexpensive and visa-free destinations for Russians. One bad thing - you have to spend money on the flight. Tickets cost from 30 thousand rubles, sometimes you can find them for 22-25 thousand. Vouchers cost from 60 thousand for two, to Sri Lanka - from 80 thousand.

Georgia

A country from the list of visa-free for Russians, and it is allowed to stay in Georgia for at least a whole year. You can fly here inexpensively: air tickets to from Moscow and St. Petersburg usually cost about 8-12 thousand rubles. The cheapest flights from Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Adler and Krasnoyarsk to Tbilisi cost around 15-22 thousand.

Israel

Israel is another country where you can fly without a visa and very cheaply, and many people use it with pleasure! Tickets cost from 11,000 rubles, tours - from 55 thousand.

India

To travel to India, an electronic visa is issued: it is easy to obtain, but it costs $100. But Goa is one of the most inexpensive destinations for relaxing by the sea. Tours cost from 50 thousand, last-minute ones are cheaper. Tickets to Delhi cost from 20 thousand.

Kenya

If you want to go to real black Africa, go to Kenya or Tanzania! Alas, these countries are not included in the list of visa-free for Russians, and tickets are not cheap - from 32,000 rubles. But everything is relative. It is difficult to get visas for almost all other African countries, and flights there are even more expensive. Traveling to Kenya and Tanzania is easier: visas are issued according to a simplified system, there are more flights, and security is higher.

Cyprus

One more popular destination recreation. An electronic visa is easily done online, the prices at the resorts are European, but not prohibitively high. Tickets to Larnaca cost from 6,000 rubles, to Paphos - from 15,000 rubles. You can buy a tour to Cyprus from 50 thousand rubles.

Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt

Russians can fly to Morocco and Tunisia without a visa; in Egypt, a visa is issued upon arrival. Rest in all countries is inexpensive. Tickets from Moscow to Morocco cost from 10-15 thousand, to Egypt and Tunisia - the same amount.

UAE

Inexpensive tickets to Dubai are also not uncommon, and for flights from many Russian cities. Fly to the UAE from Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar, Kazan can be from 15 thousand rubles, during big sales - even cheaper. Tickets cost from 50 thousand.

Turkey

Where can you go inexpensively and without a visa, if not to Turkey? It is these two criteria that have made the country so popular for Russians: visa-free entry and cheap vacation. You can fly to Istanbul for 8000 rubles, to Antalya - for 10 thousand. Tours are very cheap: even 20 thousand rubles is not the limit, there are vouchers for 15 and even 10 thousand for two. Rest "all inclusive" costs from 35 thousand rubles.

Philippines

A flight to the Philippines cannot be called inexpensive - tickets usually cost from 35-40 thousand rubles. However, sometimes you can fly cheaper to this visa-free country for Russians - sometimes there are tickets for 27-30 thousand.

Montenegro

Tickets to Tivat can be found from 10 thousand rubles, to Podgorica - from 13 thousand. Tickets cost from 40 thousand.

South America and the Caribbean

An unfortunate paradox and injustice - the list of visa-free countries for Russians includes almost all states South America and Caribbean but flying there is very expensive. Saved only by large sales (for example, Allitalia) or erroneous tariffs. Usually tickets to countries Latin America cost from 40-50 thousand rubles.

South Korea

One of the few developed countries from the list of visa-free for Russians. This is worth using! The cheapest way to fly to Seoul is from Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - tickets for direct S7 flights can cost as little as 14,000 rubles. Air tickets from Moscow and St. Petersburg cost from 30 thousand rubles.

We have considered all the countries where Russians in 2020 can travel without a visa and at the same time inexpensively. All other countries either require pre-arranged visas (through the consulate and visa centers) or are not destinations where you can fly cheaply.

A visa is required to enter most countries in the world. The need for paperwork, an interview at the embassy and other formalities greatly complicate the preparation for the rest. In addition, it takes time to obtain a visa - which means that it will no longer be possible to buy a last-minute ticket or present a tour as a gift.

In order not to experience such difficulties, one should pay attention to countries that allow visa-free entry of Russians. In most cases, visa-free countries located to our tourists in 2016 still require that the passport be valid for another 3-6 months after entering the territory of the state. This should be taken into account when planning a vacation.

Remember: most of the South American countries are ready to host our citizens without asking for a visa! In second place are the countries of Asia and Oceania. A much smaller number of African and even fewer European states provide Russians with such benefits. In a number of countries, a visa can be obtained at the airport upon arrival without any particular problems, which can also be equated to a visa-free regime. Let's look at the most popular visa-free countries of 2016.

1st place: Turkey

Popular resorts: Kemer, Antalya, Alanya
3 hours 30 minutes

Are you flying to Turkey? Don't worry about the visa - everyone gets it upon arrival!

This state has long been chosen for recreation by our compatriots. A visa that allows you to stay in the country for up to 60 days in one visit is issued upon arrival. The sea, the sun, hotels with swimming pools, beaches and plenty of entertainment, working on the system " All Inclusive"- it is not surprising that all this attracts Russian tourists! In addition, a lot of Turks understand Russian. Turkey is easy to get to, and a trip here will cost much less than, say, any European state (although Turkey is partly also Europe).

The country has resources for both active and beach pastime. If you are in the mood for an active holiday, then sightseeing, scenic walks and a variety of sports will not let you get bored. If you are going to bask in the southern sun and breathe in the sea air, Turkish hotels are on the first coastline will give you that opportunity.

(Update 11/26/2015) After Turkey shot down a Russian plane that violated its air border, tour operators were banned from selling trips to this country for an indefinite period. Flights to Turkey from Russia have also been suspended. The possibility of introducing visa regime.

2nd place: Egypt

Popular resorts: Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada
Approximate flight time from Moscow: 12 hours

Egypt is the best visa-free country for Red Sea lovers

Even despite the unstable political situation, Egypt continues to break records of popularity among Russians. Revolutionary unrest, of course, had an impact on the number of Russian citizens vacationing here, but many of our compatriots still choose to vacation in this country. The main reason for this constancy is, of course, the Red Sea. Local resorts are a real find for lovers aquatic species sports and, above all, diving.

Fans of a beach holiday will also get the desired portion of the sea and the sun. Hotels here work according to the All Inclusive system already familiar to everyone. Legendary pyramids, ancient Egyptian temples and Muslim cultural monuments will not leave indifferent travelers who come here in search of an "oriental fairy tale". Attention: a visa for a period of 1 month is issued right at the entrance to the country!

(Update 11/23/2015) After the crash Russian aircraft A321 in the sky over Egypt, flights from Russia to this country are suspended indefinitely.

We associate this state with biblical shrines and the Dead Sea. The flow of pilgrims of various denominations does not dry up here throughout the year. In addition to believers, everyone who wants to undergo wellness treatment at the Dead Sea, known for its healing mud and mineral salts, is widely used in the cosmetics industry.

The Red and Mediterranean Sea will appeal to fans of a beach holiday. Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Tel Aviv and Haifa are waiting for inquisitive tourists who are determined to personally explore all the local attractions. You can stay in Israel without a visa for up to 90 days, but upon arrival you will be asked for return tickets, hotel reservations and medical insurance for the duration of your stay in the state.

In addition, the country is adjacent to several states, for visiting which Russians also do not need a visa - with Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This opens up opportunities for traveling across several countries at once, which, of course, is an important advantage when choosing a place to stay. In addition, in Montenegro it is easy to combine urban and beach holidays, since the houses, which are often rented by vacationers, are located in cities with a well-developed infrastructure. All this makes this state incredibly attractive for tourists.

Approximate flight time from Moscow: 13 hours

Cuba is a remote, but extremely hospitable place for Russian tourists

You can visit Cuba without a visa for up to 30 days. Nevertheless, some formalities still have to be observed: fill out an immigration card, and also, possibly, present return tickets and information about a sufficient number Money.

We are connected with Cuba by the Soviet past - songs about Che Guevara, familiar to many from childhood, Cuban dances and a fiery temperament local population certainly resonate in the Russian soul. Beaches caribbean, inexpensive cigars and rum complete the list of pleasant associations with these regions. Unfortunately, it should be borne in mind that the poverty of the local population and widespread devastation can overshadow the impressions.

7th place: Dominican Republic

Popular resorts: Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, La Romana
Approximate flight time from Moscow: 14 hours

Traveling to the Dominican Republic on tours is much cheaper than "savages"

You can stay in the country without a visa for 45 days, but at the entrance you need to purchase tourist map. 10th place: Cyprus

Popular resorts: Paphos, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Protaras, Nicosia
Approximate flight time from Moscow: 4 hours

These beauties belong to Paphos (Cyprus)

The sea and beaches are always clean, the prices are relatively cheap, the locals are friendly - what else is needed for complete relaxation?

Thailand

Now the place of Turkey and Egypt has been firmly occupied by Thailand with its excellent climate and wide opportunities for recreation. You do not need a visa to stay in the country for less than 30 days.

To enter Thailand without a visa, you will need a passport with a remaining validity of at least six months, return air tickets, as well as an amount of 20,000 baht per person. You will need to prove the availability of money only if the tourist travels on his own, without the participation of a travel agency.

Of the popular Thai resorts, it is worth noting Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui.

Israel this year is increasingly attracting Russian tourists. By the way, in Israel, two seas are available to tourists at once: the Mediterranean and the Red.

For a stay in Israel up to 90 days, you will need to present at the entrance:

    Passport valid for at least six months;

    Return air or other tickets;

    Proof of accommodation - hotel reservation, invitation of friends or a letter from a medical institution;

Sufficient amount of money for a holiday in the country. There is no specific amount, but $50 per day will be enough.

Of the resorts and interesting cities for recreation, it is worth noting Jerusalem, Ein Bokek, Haifa, Netanya and Eilat.

Of the resorts, it is worth noting Da Nang, suitable for family vacation, Nha Trang for lovers of noisy entertainment and parties, and Vung Tau, which will suit everyone.

Another great alternative to Turkey and Egypt is Vietnam. True, you won’t be able to relax here longer - you can stay without a visa for only 15 days. But from the documents you will not need anything other than a passport and a return ticket. Unless the passport must be valid for at least another six months, and after leaving Vietnam, at least 30 days must pass.
