Essays on the topic “How I spent the summer. Mini-essay “How I spent my summer” (5 options) Combination on the topic of how I spent my summer

Summer for me was not rich in adventures and travel. I stayed in the city with my parents. While my parents went to work, I helped them around the house: washing dishes, cleaning, and even sometimes preparing dinner.

Almost every day my friend Lesha and I went to visit each other, played computer games, went for walks, rode bicycles and skateboards. Lesha’s mom taught us how to make delicious, cool lemonade to escape the heat a little, and we made it almost every day.

Over the summer I read a lot, I also watched educational programs on TV about animals. In the middle of summer, my parents took a vacation, and we now spent more time together. In the evenings they often played Board games, watched comedies and went for a walk.

Even in the summer we went to the dacha to help my grandmother with the garden, but this was not often. We stayed with her for several days. Mom helped her tighten the jars, make jam, and close the compote. Dad helped with minor repairs, tightened shelves, cabinet doors, and door handles. My parents and I often went on picnics outside the city. We always took something tasty with us: sandwiches, fruit, lemonade or cold fruit drink, sometimes we fried kebabs or sausages.

If we stopped by the water, we also swam. I liked being in nature, my dad coached me in football, we made goals from large branches, and we brought the ball from home. While we were playing, mom collected flowers into a beautiful bouquet, which she then brought home. I don't regret that we didn't go anywhere this summer. We spent a lot of time together and did a lot of important and useful things. We had a good rest at home, the main thing is that we were together.

Essay option 1: How I want to spend the summer

Hooray! It's summer. This is the most favorite time of the year, as you really look forward to it. I was really looking forward to these holidays, as in the summer there is an opportunity to relax and gain new strength for the next school year. These summer holidays I decided that I would spend them in the village with my grandmother. There is very beautiful nature and clean air.

In the village you have the opportunity to diversify your holiday, as there are many ways active rest. Every summer my friends and I go to the river and swim, and this is very good for our health. There is an opportunity to go to the forest to pick berries and mushrooms, of which there are a lot at this time. I really love fishing and when I have a free moment, I go to the river, where I can spend the whole day.

The air in the village is very fresh and you can breathe very calmly and freely, unlike in the city, which is filled with harmful emissions. There is also something to do in inclement weather: reading books. I really like to spend my summer holidays in the countryside and if there is a choice: a city or a village, then I choose the second method of relaxation and would not exchange it for anything. Over the entire summer, you can gain strength and use it fruitfully throughout the school year. I will look forward to the end of the school year and mentally prepare for my next vacation.

Essay option 2: What will I do in the summer?

In the summer, everyone can find many interesting things to do, because summer is three months of free time that needs to be occupied with something. However, you need to combine business with pleasure. In the summer you can go to the sea and relax after a busy school year. If knowledge is important to a person, he can engage in educational activities, which will significantly increase his success and grades next year.

Summer is the time when you can walk for days on end. At this time of year, you can earn a little extra money if your age allows you to do so.

In a word, whatever you do in the summer, the main thing is that it brings you both pleasure and benefit!

The last bell rang. The hot summer season has arrived and the summer holidays have begun. Unfortunately, the holidays flew by quickly, I began to prepare for school. My parents bought me new clothes and school supplies.

Summer brought me a lot of bright impressions and unforgettable moments.

The difficult school year has finally ended and the long-awaited summer holidays have begun. The hot, long summer days have arrived. We spent time in the courtyards until late in the evening. We played football with the guys from neighboring yards, I was a goalkeeper, and I was very good at it.

My parents and I went on picnics to the shore in an extraordinary way beautiful lake. It was a very pleasant time there. Swimmed in clear water, fried meat and vegetables, played badminton. This summer I learned to swim. I decided to sign up for the pool.

My father and I went fishing early in the morning. I really enjoyed spending time near the river. The beauty and silence of nature is mesmerizing. We cooked delicious fish soup from the caught fish.

For a month I went to Kid `s camp to the shore of the Black Sea. There I met many boys and girls, we exchanged addresses and phone numbers, we will keep in touch and be friends.
In the morning, after breakfast, we went to the beach, sunbathed, swam in the water and collected beautiful shells on the shore. I brought them home and arranged them beautifully on a shelf as a memory of the camp.

After lunch I went to clubs. We burned various drawings onto the board. Wonderful crafts were made from cardboard and paper. They painted with paints on glass. They made toys and clay plates. I brought these crafts as souvenirs to my family and friends. They were very pleased.
In the evening we spent time around the fire, sang, danced, and played a variety of exciting games. It was a pity to part with new friends.

At the end of summer I had a birthday, my parents gave me and my friends a wonderful holiday. In the cafe on the summer terrace they laid tables for us with very delicious dishes. Everything was decorated with balloons, and various interesting competitions were held. It was a lot of fun.

It was a good holiday, I'm looking forward to the next one.

Option 5

Many people spend the summer in warm southern seas, but this summer we decided to go to the White Sea. It is located in the north of Russia and is also called Studeny. There are islands in the very center of the sea. They are called Solovetsky. My parents and I went there. The trip took place at the end of July, so for the first half of the summer I made a list of necessary things and read information about Solovki on the Internet.

The Solovetsky Islands include several islands:

  • Bolshoi Solovetsky,
  • Anzer,
  • Big and Small Muksalma,
  • Zayatsky.

There is something to see there:

  • monastery,
  • Sekirnaya mountain,
  • labyrinths,
  • man-made dam,
  • lake-canal system of the island,
  • Filippovsky gardens,
  • Botanical Garden.

On the first day, after we arrived and checked into the hotel, we decided to go for a walk to the Cape of Labyrinths. It was located not far from our hotel, just a 5-minute walk. The labyrinth is made of stones. True, it was made recently, but the real ancient labyrinths are located on Bolshoi Zayatsky Island. It is unknown who built them on the island and why, but they are more than several thousand years old. You cannot walk through the labyrinths on Zayatsky Island, because the island is a nature reserve.

On the second day, we rented bicycles and went to the island of Bolshaya Muksalma, which is connected to the island of Bolshoy Solovetsky by a man-made dam made of huge stones 1 km long. When we rented bicycles, we were told that the road to the dam was bad, the distance to it was 11 kilometers, some of which we would have to carry the bicycles on ourselves. It will take an hour and a half. To say that the road is bad is to say nothing! Huge puddles, swamps - we encountered it all! But the dam is worth a look.

On Mount Sekirnaya, there was an excursion there on the third day, there is a monastery - a lighthouse, and from there from observation deck opens beautiful view to the Big Solovetsky Island! Sekirnaya Mountain is the most high point islands. It's not easy to get there - a wooden staircase leads up. They say that a person who climbs it has one sin forgiven!

The main attraction of the Big Solovetsky Island is the Monastery - a unique structure. The walls are made of huge boulders. This is a kind of fortress that has withstood several sieges. Previously, the monastery was a prison. The chambers have been preserved, which you can look into if you wish. We went there on our last day on the island.

We bought home the most popular souvenirs from Solovki - roe gingerbread, seaweed marmalade, fried Solovetsky herring and a few other trinkets! We didn’t have time to see all the sights of the Solovetsky Islands, so we decided to return there next year.

Option 6

This summer was simply unforgettable and somehow unusual. And this is exactly what I will talk about today.

I just love summertime. This is the time when you can relax and do nothing. And most importantly, you don't have to go to school.

This summer I went to visit my grandmother in the village. Not for the whole summer, but for about one month. This village is located an hour's drive from the city. There is a small grandmother's hut there. Why a hut? The fact is that the house is very small, it only has three rooms. The house is adobe, not built of brick. My grandmother has many animals and a large vegetable garden. It was a great surprise for me to see cows, ducks, geese and chickens. Most of all I fell in love with a dog named Tuzik. Now I have another friend.

I had to work a little at my grandmother's. But it was even interesting. In the morning we got up early to feed the animals and clean their barns. Then I could go herd sheep with a neighbor. Or I could watch my grandmother milk the cows. Many discoveries happened for me this summer. From how cute chickens can be to the fact that the toilet can be located outside. I was very surprised by the summer shower, the water in which is heated by the sun.

I also had to dig up the garden a little and pull out the weeds there. I remember how scared I was when I saw the earthworm. In general, while I was with my grandmother, I managed to miss my parents and younger brother. How I still love them!

After returning home, my mother was very happy to see me, and I was happy to see her. We went for walks to parks with children's attractions. There I rode swans and on a Ferris wheel. On those days when we took our brother with us, my mother bought us ice cream and we licked it for a long time.

This summer I had the opportunity to visit the zoo. There you could feed and even touch cute animals. What I remember most is the giraffe. He's so funny and tall. And what I liked least of all was the wild boar. It's small and smelly.

This summer I wanted to visit the water park, but my brother got sick and we were never able to visit this cool place.

This summer was one of the best of my life. I will look forward to the coming summer months to learn and see something new and interesting for myself.

My summer

During the next holidays, my parents suggested going abroad. I happily agreed, because an exciting journey by plane to another country lay ahead. Shortly before the flight, I had to collect the necessary things, and was looking forward to an unforgettable vacation.

July 21st has come the long-awaited day. When we boarded the plane, it was a little scary. When we rose above the ground and looked out the window, it turned out to be a stunning view, and the fear quickly dissipated. We landed in the amazing country of Portugal. A luxurious hotel and colorful excursions awaited us here. First of all, we went for a walk around the capital of the country - Lisbon. We spent a long time enjoying the masterpieces of architectural art and visited the Torrey de Belem towers. I was incredibly surprised by the openwork balconies, jagged walls and gorgeous views that opened from the top of the castle. After resting a little, we went to the beautiful beaches strewn with snow-white sand and swam in the clear, warm water. At the end of the day we just sat on the shore and enjoyed the tide of the waves.

During our vacation, we learned something new every moment. A wonderful ride on the symbol of the city, the yellow tram, amazing fado, a gorgeous oceanarium and an incredible water park. A lot of exotic food was sold on the streets, which was incredibly tasty and nutritious.

Every moment spent in Lisbon will remain in your memory forever. I will never forget sympathetic people luxury castles and well-groomed beaches, and beautiful views from the top of the mountain. When the time came to go back, it became very sad. I wanted to lie carefree on the beach and visit other interesting places. On way back It wasn’t scary at all, I told my family and friends about it wonderful places and our adventures in a new country. I hope that we will be able to discover new cities every summer, and that vacations abroad will become an annual tradition in our family. Travel inspires, motivates you to work more and study well.

How I spent summer.

* Another version of an essay from a woman’s perspective: How I spent my summer (editor’s note)

It was interesting summer. If the first month of vacation was no different from the previous summer holidays, I was in the city, then the next two months turned out to be the most memorable for me, I went to my aunt in the village. It is with the days spent in the village that I associate the most interesting events and vivid impressions of my summer.

In the village time is running slowly and hesitantly, not at all like in big cities. It seems like a whole month has passed, but in reality only one week has passed. Usually, in the morning I help my aunt in the garden, although her morning starts earlier than mine. Our village is far from the village and tap water is an unheard-of luxury, so I take two old iron buckets and go through three houses to the well. The water from the well is incredibly clean and very cold. Sometimes I have to do something around the house, but as soon as the first opportunity arises, I jump over the fence and run to my friends.

In my village Good friends. We spend almost all our time together. On the hottest days we can sit on the river bank for hours. We swim, frolic and watch the passing barges. Once I got hit by my aunt because I skipped lunch, and in fact I was not hungry. The fact is that my friend Pashka brought a whole bag of potatoes from Uncle Seryozha, and we baked them right in the fire. What a pleasure it is to throw hot potatoes from one hand to the other, and then break them and eat them piece by piece, clearing them of the salty ash. Agree, this is not a plate of ready-made soup. But how much romance and happiness were spent, as if in a completely different world, summer days!

In the evenings I sat at home in a real wooden hut. Usually, after dinner, friends came to my aunt, they sat for a long time at a large round table in the center of the room and drank tea. I was nearby, climbing onto a large stone stove, and either looked at the books brought from the city, or did nothing, as my aunt often said, “I was kicking my ass.” Although in fact I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on desert island, made notes, counting down the days until they took me to the city.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking that the village is an island far from the city, where life obeys a different rhythm. Maybe because it’s closer to nature here, or maybe the cities are just so far removed from the real quiet life in pursuit of technical progress. One way or another, I am a city person and my place is there, in the endless flow of information, but every time I leave this quiet island of calm, I will remember how I spent the summer and miss my village.

Summer is my favorite season of the year. Not because the longest holidays are starting, but because it’s warm. In the summer there are so many opportunities to relax or take a walk somewhere. During my favorite times, I really like to swim and sunbathe. Even in the warm season, I like to ride a bike and play various sports games: football, volleyball. When I had free time, I wanted to write an essay about my favorite summer in my personal diary.

My favorite season has the longest days of the year. And in the north, in the summer, in a city like St. Petersburg, for example, you can observe white nights. I want to visit St. Petersburg and enjoy this warm phenomenon. In summer the nature is very beautiful. Especially sunsets on the coast warm sea that you can admire for a long time. Watching how the sky at sunset turns from blue-yellow to orange and finally to red, and then how the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon.

In the summer, I like to go on vacation with my parents to the sea, where you can swim in warm water, sunbathe in the sun, play volleyball, football, ride the slides and have fun. Even in the summer season, I like to go to the forest or to a planting, where everything around is green and admire the beauty of nature. My younger brother was asked to write an essay on the topic of summer, and I decided to help him.

Topic: how I spent it

Summer is a warm time of the year and I want to spend it as interesting as possible. So that there will be enough impressions for the whole year. In June, I went on vacation to a camp on the sea coast and wanted to tell you how I spent time there this year. The camp was called Aztecs. Our detachment was large, about 50 people. I rested for 12 days. Every day was planned out. We had four counselors. The rise was at 8 o'clock in the morning. After which we went as a group to the dining room, where a glass of juice was prepared for us. After which at 8:30 all our 10 squads had morning exercises. Before exercise, we ran a warm-up lap. Then we went to our building, where we gathered, cleaned around the room, and at 10 o’clock we all went to breakfast.

After breakfast we went to the sea, where we swam, played volleyball, football, and sunbathed. At 13:00 we went to the building, where we changed clothes and went to lunch at 13:30. After which at 14:00 we began a quiet hour until 16:00. Then we went to the dining room for an afternoon snack, where we were given juice, milk and various buns. After which we went to the sports ground and played football, volleyball and organized various sports competitions.

At 19:00 we had lunch, and after lunch on various days we had discos, watched cartoons, and had various performances prepared by each detachment in the assembly hall. Besides all this, we had a lot of other interesting things: we dressed up as Indians and walked around the green territory of the camp, went to the movies, and participated in football competitions between squads. We had various clubs and a lot of other things. I really liked it and I want to go to the camp again next year. After arriving home, I told many people how I spent my summer this year.

Essay nature in summer

Nature in summer is indescribably beautiful. I like to walk in parks and squares. Sit somewhere on a bench and enjoy the beauty of the trees dressed in their summer green attire. Listen to the birds chirping.
Most of all, I like to go out of town with my parents on weekends to the forest or to the river, where you can enjoy all the colors of the season. At the beginning of summer, various wild flowers bloom in all the colors of the rainbow in the forest clearings. I like to collect these flowers together with my mother into a large multi-colored bouquet. Butterflies and bees land on the flowers that grow in the meadows.

It can be very hot in summer. The thermometer sometimes shows temperatures above 40 degrees. On days like these, you want the hot season to end as soon as possible and the coolness to come. I noticed that at the beginning of summer the leaves on the trees are light green, in the middle of the season they are dark green, and at the end of summer they lose their rich green color and begin to turn yellow and brown, which indicates the arrival of autumn.

Nature especially transforms in summer, when it starts to rain after long hot days. I especially like blind rain, when the sun is shining and it is raining - it is a very beautiful and interesting natural phenomenon.
It only happens in the summer that the sun was shining, it was hot and there was no sign of bad weather. Suddenly dark clouds appeared, a strong wind blew, which began to raise strong dust from the ground, thunder and lightning appeared, and a few minutes later it began to rain. People who did not have time to hide under the cover literally became so wet in just a few minutes, as if they had just come out of the water. A few minutes after the rain began, water flowed along the roads and sidewalks in large streams, creating large puddles in the lowlands. But an hour later the rain stopped and the sun appeared through a gap in the clouds. After some time, the sky became almost clear, and only the wet ground with large puddles reminded that it had recently rained. Nature in the summer season is very beautiful and diverse.

Another Russian film that left nothing but a feeling of wasted time. A young guy comes to an island in the northern and Arctic ocean for the summer holidays to do an internship at a local polar station. There is only one guy living in this polar station. Experienced polar explorer. Soon this guy receives a message via radio that an accident has occurred with the wife and child of this guy, a polar explorer, in Moscow. And in fact, throughout the entire film, this young goon just can’t decide to tell everything to the polar explorer. In the end, when he tells everything due to the will of circumstances, the polar explorer takes up his gun and begins to run after the poor guy all over the island.

The film was shot by Alexey Popogrebsky. Director, from the cohort of our young authors who are trying to make films about real life in our country. “How I Spent This Summer” is only his second film so far. I personally really liked the first film “Simple Things”. It was a light and unpretentious story about the relationship between a doctor and his elderly patient. Alas, already in his second film this very lightness completely evaporated. “How I Spent This Summer” is a much more author’s film with claims to the laurels of Tarkovsky and Antonioni. Most of the time we are shown different beauties north island. The director naturally pays especially much attention to the ocean, which personally just begins to infuriate me. I don't watch our modern films very often. But it so happened that in Zvyagintsev’s “Return” and in Lungin’s “Island” they are trying to charm me beautiful views water surface. And in general, one gets the feeling that all these films are shot by the same cameraman.

Unfortunately for this picture, everything in our world is known in comparison. Over the short century of cinema, we have already managed to film a lot of great films, and if I had not watched the films of Tarkovsky, Sokurov, Herman, then probably “How I Spent This Summer” would have seemed very exciting and deep to me. But today it was simply boring for me to watch this film. What the director wants to say becomes clear almost immediately. As they say, there’s only three kopecks worth of sense here. A young dunce, out of cowardice, commits terrible acts that lead to a tragic ending. But from this story, Popogrebsky is trying to torture almost the second Stalker. But the trouble is that Popogrebsky is never Tarkovsky. Therefore, for the entire two hours we watch, one continuous thing, meaning nothing, not skillfully presented and, most importantly, completely unnecessary here, looking for deep, depths where there are none. If the Popogrebsky film had been shortened by one and a half times, due to meaningless scenes, it would have been much more watchable. The only thing that might be of interest here is that the action takes place on an island in the northern and Arctic ocean. And in general, the way of life that the characters lead in this place, in my opinion, is the most interesting and educational thing in this film.

Also, a couple of the main actors do not save the situation, but quite the opposite. After the not bad performance of Sergei Puskepalis in “ Simple things", Popogrebsky decided to make him no more, no less, a folk actor, like Leonov, Papanov, Burkov. This is exactly the type he is trying to embody here. On the surface he is a simple, good-natured Russian peasant, but inside he is a wise man. But compared to the above-mentioned masters, Puskepalis clearly lacks either acting talent or, most importantly, charisma. Well, the young actor Grigory Dobrygin is not at all memorable here. His hero is very pale, despite the fact that in the plot he has the main, and, moreover, very characteristic role, full of reflection and internal tension, which this same Dobrygin clearly does not pull off.

In general, in all respects it’s a weak movie, but in the context of modern Russian cinema, I just can’t raise my hand to give it a very bad rating.

Summer is a fabulous time when not only plants, but also people bloom. In June I played a lot in the fresh air, it was warm and fun. I tried roller skating and riding a two-wheeler. I also learned a new dance and learned to play the Crocodile game, where you have to guess the words. I also served breakfast to my parents and helped them get ready for work. In July we went to my grandmother, I stayed there for a long time. Granny lives in the village. Her neighbors have a lot of funny animals. It was especially fun to tease the rooster and run away from him, but grandma interrupted such games in time. She says that the rooster is also offended by such jokes. Towards mid-August, I returned home and began preparing for classes. I repeated numbers and letters, learned to get up early.

In the evenings we sailed on boats and ships, photographing the sunset. I got a lot of great photos! From the ship I saw fish and birds. There were especially many seagulls. What I liked most about the south was that they sold ice cream and lemonade everywhere, and I love sweets. After our vacation, we returned home and visited my grandmother. I stayed with her for two weeks. There I ate a lot of berries and fruits. Back in the village I met new friends. My new friend Dasha had a puppy, and I was very sorry to leave him. Now I also want such a small and fluffy dog and I will ask her for New Year. We had a lot of fun in the village, but in the city an equally exciting activity awaited me - getting ready for school.

In the evenings we sometimes went to the cinema with our parents or spent time at home. I would often invite friends home in the evening if it was cold and we would play board games. Father taught us to play backgammon. This is very interesting game, which really makes you think. Then I went to the dacha to help my grandmother. I picked berries, fed her animals, and did other chores around the house. For this, my grandmother prepared me very tasty pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes and other delicacies. She bakes very tasty pies and pizzas. In the village I met new friends and actively played with them. I also taught them to play backgammon. It was very nice and beautiful at the dacha, with forest all around. Therefore, when my parents arrived, we went into nature and spent the night in tents.

On the last day of the shift we took part in a concert and theatrical performance. I played the good fairy and was praised. When I returned home, my family and I went to a barbecue, and the next weekend we went to a water park. I had a lot of fun and pleasure in the company of my favorite people.

In August, we helped grandma harvest the harvest, and mom baked delicious pies with apples and currants. It was very interesting, but I was already looking forward to returning to school, to my friends from class. Now I have something to tell them.

(236 words) This summer has been unusual. I went to the seaside for the first time to a summer camp, where I learned a lot of new and interesting things. I also learned how to shoot a bow, learned new karate moves, and became a good swimmer.

In June I was given a trip to the sea. Along with the ticket, they bought me new things and games, which I took with me. The whole month passed in anticipation of departure. My parents were afraid to send me by train, but I handled it well, didn’t forget anything and behaved decently. It was very hot and beautiful in the south. Not far from the camp was the sea. Every day it played with new colors. It was great to swim there. The water was warm and clear. You could find shells at the bottom. The guys in my room showed me how to swim faster and dive deeper. We even had small competitions and I performed well. There were also interest sections at the camp. I prefer fighting and sports, so I studied karate and watched older guys boxing. Soon I too will be able to get into such a circle. I also remember the delicious and varied food. I would love to go there again. At the end of summer I walked and rode my bike a lot. I was entrusted with the responsibility of going to the store and visiting my grandmother.

During this summer I grew up and matured. Now I have more responsibilities, but I am less controlled. I'm glad I'm becoming an adult. Next summer I will definitely ask for a ticket again and get to know another new city.

(261 words) Summer - best time year for rest. I didn’t waste it and went for walks often. We regularly met with friends, went out with our parents and went to the movies. I learned to play badminton and volleyball. In addition, I met new friends.

In June, my parents often took me to various picnics and meetings. We grilled kebabs, went fishing and even went on a short hike. It was fun, warm and beautiful in nature. I collected wildflowers and made wreaths from them. They also showed me how to collect brushwood to light a fire and how to navigate the forest. They even bought me my own blanket and then promised to buy me a tent. Dad also gave me skates, which I had wanted for a long time. Now games on the street have become more diverse. While my parents were at work, I roller-skated and had fun on the playground. On weekends, Mom and Dad would take me to the movies or somewhere to play. It was my first time visiting a bowling alley. At first I couldn't knock down the pins, but then I was able to direct the ball correctly. The first score was not successful, but then I will definitely learn to play well. My parents also brought me badminton rackets. We played in our yard for days on end. I can already play quite successfully. At the end of summer, my mother and I baked charlottes and made stuffed peppers together. I learned to cook.

This summer was not only fun, but also very educational. I was able to try new sports and games, prepare an autumn menu and gain basic knowledge about safety in the forest. Soon my parents and I will go into the forest to pick mushrooms, and I will learn to distinguish between useful and harmful.

(245 words) This summer I helped adults a lot and became better versed in useful things. I planted and harvested crops, helped my grandmother with her household and my father in his garage. For my diligent work, I received a new bicycle and began to ride it often with friends. I also often played in the yard and worked out on the horizontal bars.

Summer began with worries and new responsibilities. I helped relatives plant vegetables, care for fruit trees and flowers. I was treated to pickles, homemade pies and kvass. I watered the garden every day and sometimes helped weed it. In between classes, I ran to abandoned apple trees, played with neighbor children and rode my bike. The boys and I built a tree house and played in it. The rest of the time I sat at the computer. My father allows me to play computer games related to history. In the middle of summer there were fewer worries, and my parents and I went into nature to swim. I learned to swim fast and ride a catamaran. It's like riding a bicycle, only in water. It was hard for me because I was not used to it, but I did it well. We also fried meat outdoors, and I mastered the grill. Now I can keep an eye on the barbecue and put out the fire when the coals catch fire. Dad says every man should be able to barbecue, and I'm already on my way to that.

Summer seemed pleasant to me, but short. In August I was harvesting and had not yet had enough rest and warmth. I hope that Indian summer will allow my father and I to go fishing and surprise my mother with a big catch.

Since I was sick in June, I had to stay at home, and my dad taught me to play chess. We practiced every evening, and now I play well. We also played lotto, dominoes and checkers. (246 words) My summer was very memorable and eventful. We traveled a lot with our parents to different places, visited relatives and friends, organized meetings and outings. I was no longer little, so I was responsible for the other children and entertained them as best I could. I liked this activity, it was fun.

The summer morning began with breakfast and cleaning the room. Then I would go for a walk if the weather was good, or sit at the computer if the weather was bad. My friends and I communicate in in social networks, so I wasn't bored. We chatted, played computer games and shared our impressions. I also watched entertaining videos and reviews of technology. It’s also nice to discuss them with knowledgeable people on the Internet. I dream of one day creating gadgets on my own, but for now I’m just looking and learning what’s already there. My parents encourage my hobbies and give me construction sets, which I also enjoy assembling. IN good weather I ride a bike a lot and am learning to skateboard. I rarely play football or other active games. And in the evenings or on weekends, my parents and I go somewhere. Sometimes to a company barbecue, sometimes to a movie or cafe, sometimes to large stores and shopping centers. My mother also takes me to exhibitions or excursions. I prefer events related to technology, and my mother tries to pick something up.

The most vivid impression of the summer was the robotics exhibition, where real robots were shown. They performed everyday human activities, but it was very fast and simply amazing! Next summer I would like to attend robot fights.

(274 words) Summer is the most beautiful and exciting time! So many plans and hopes, so many emotions! And this time I was also lucky with the summer: my parents gave me a ticket to a camp at the sea. There were many adventures, beautiful places and warm clear water.

At first I was very nervous and didn’t know what was waiting for me there. But then I looked at photographs of southern cities and was inspired by the beautiful views. My expectations coincided with reality: my camp was in a picturesque place, the room was clean and bright, and the people were friendly and helpful. The counselors were kind and funny, and the roommates quickly became friends. We spent whole days in the heat southern sun. We were taken on a boat ride, taken to a dolphinarium and to the beach. We swam and sunbathed, collected shells and built sand castles. There were many master classes and clubs at the camp itself. We were artists, needlewomen, and athletes. It was very exciting and useful, I learned a lot. The counselors taught us singing and dancing, and at the end of the shift we organized a big concert together. I was very happy because my parents saw me on stage. They were very proud of me and gave me moral support. When I returned home, they and I continued to spend time in the place: we walked in beautiful places, took pictures, rode a boat, went to visit grandma and visit friends.

Of course, in the summer we talked a lot with our friends: we did funny hairstyles for each other, went rollerblading, ate ice cream in the parks and walked with our new dog. She was given to my best friend, and we trained the dog together. She became part of our company. Now I will also ask for an animal as a gift, but I like cats better. I am sure that after a successful quarter, parents will think about my proposal.

(292 words) The summer turned out to be warm, but very short. I didn't have enough time to rest, because I had grandiose plans for the holidays, and I would be glad to give myself at least a month in addition to the three. But September 1 is just around the corner, it’s time to take stock, and this is what I managed to do.

My dad and I celebrated the onset of summer by going karting. I learned to drive a car within the confines of a go-kart and I wanted even more to have my own. This is still a long way off, but now I began to visit my father in the garage more often and understand the structure of the car. I decided to understand how it works from the inside, and my father helped me a lot with this. I brought him tools, helped him paint over scuffs, and began to navigate the garage as well as the car. This knowledge was useful to me in repairing bicycles. I helped a lot of guys get them back to normal after the winter. But days passed after days, and it was time to break away from the garage and get down to business at the dacha. I tied up raspberry and tomato bushes, carried water to water the garden and fed the animals. Grandma has goats, chickens and even turkeys. She also went to look at rabbits for breeding, and I also participated in the selection. In the evenings, the neighbor children and I climbed trees and made bows and arrows. We also played ball. After returning from my grandmother, I began to sit at the computer more. There I played computer games and watched videos about cars. This is how I rested after my dacha activities. When my father arrived, I told him what I had learned. He also plays video games sometimes, so he lets me play a little too.

But most of all I liked driving with him in the car and attending barbecues with a group of people who could tell a lot about technology. I have learned a lot and am now preparing to take part in a big mushroom picking and fishing trip.
