How to get to Lara beach

This part of the beach is the most comfortable, so if everything described below seems a bit wild to you, then your best bet is to just book one of the hotels on Lara beach, with its own dedicated area, where everything will be clean and well-groomed.

2) Having landed at the terminal, the first thing we saw was not a beach, but a rather extensive park area.

3) The park, however, is more like a public crematorium under open sky. A huge square is lined with small stoves made of brick or cast concrete. Turks fuss around them, who come here for picnics with whole families. The approach to cooking barbecue is certainly original. We don't remember seeing this anywhere else.

4) Rest thoroughly. They take out the floor of the apartment. Including grandfather and his favorite mattress.

5) But in general, given that the heat at that moment was around 40 degrees, it all looked “a little” strange 🙂 Here, even without ovens, you can fry anything you like, just spread it out in the sun.

7) Immediately behind the park, about 1.5 kilometers to the east, there is a paved path, along which, on the one hand, there is a beach, and on the other, there are various cafes, showers, changing rooms, etc. This part of the beach is absolutely free.

The hotel is right on the landing route, 5 km from the airport, very loud from 18-24 and from 06-10 (every 5 minutes). There are fewer flights during the day. The bathroom in the room needs refurbishment. On the day of our arrival, the wedding party ended after midnight, and since the nearby hotel also celebrated the wedding, there was a feeling that the musicians were competing "who is louder." Then there were several more weddings, but after our contact with the hotel, the organizers regulated the time of the celebrations and the volume of the events.

There is an outdoor pool, although we hardly rested there, because the beach near the hotel is simply magnificent. Water, sand, rocks around the edges. Near waterfall and park. The only reservation is that if someone has problems with their back or musculoskeletal system, I do not advise because the descent from the rocks to the beach is 250 steps down. The rest is suitable for everyone. On the beach there was a minibar with very friendly people, free towels and sunbeds. The staff is excellent and friendly. The room is cleaned every day unless a "do not disturb" sign is posted. The hotel can exchange dollars for lira / lira for dollars, which is also very convenient. At the reception they are always ready to help, but they do not always help correctly, since the language barrier is strong, despite my quite decent English. The Turks have a special accent, too strongly pronounced, and they "read as they write." Breakfasts, dinners are monotonous, only watermelon from fruits, we have seen better in 3 *. They did not understand what Turkish all inclusive is famous for. The cleaners always came different time, came twice when we still needed to stay in the room, asked to come in 30 minutes, they answer that they can’t, they will come in tomorrow, since their working day is over. This was between 12:00 and 14:00. You have to drop everything and urgently leave the room, or remain without cleaning. There is no kettle in the room, the mini bar is empty, there are no towels and slippers, there are no miniatures for the shower either. At dinner, drinks are all paid, which is not warned. One room key is issued for two people.

The location is perfect, there is a supermarket, cafes, pharmacies, ATMs nearby. The territory of the hotel exceeded all expectations, you don’t expect to see such beauty in Turkey in a cheap hotel, I won’t describe it, you need to see everything with your own eyes. Including a sandy beach, albeit not white sand, but the sand is also fine, again in Turkey this is a very nice bonus. There are enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, it is better to take them until 10 am. At the beach bar there are Russian girls from the staff, very friendly. Beach towels are provided. The rooms are cozy, nicer than in the booking photo. Perhaps all the comfort creates a view of the sea and a small balcony where you can sit and drink tea. Special thanks to the guys at the reception for their help, we turned to them five times a day and always helped with enthusiasm. Will we return again? I think yes. Everything arranged and even surprised in a positive way.

There was only one problem - very low flying planes. So if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. But this is a problem of the entire coast, since there is an airport in Antalya.

My husband and I liked the hotel. There is a small supermarket in front of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and polite. Liked the area. The territory is small, but well-groomed and beautiful. Drinking coffee on sofas, admiring the landscape, gave great aesthetic pleasure. Descent to the beach from the hotel. The road to the beach takes 5-7 minutes, slowly. But you do not want to rush, because on the way you see beautiful landscapes. Literally next to the hotel begins a large and beautiful park. The park has many benches and sports grounds, there are playgrounds. Walking there is a great pleasure. The Düren waterfalls amaze with their beauty. A rainbow hangs over the waterfalls in sunny weather! (you can see it in one of the photos). It's just magical! My husband and I didn't want to leave :)

Rested in this hotel from May 9 to 15. To say that I am delighted is to say nothing. First things first. The hotel has a convenient location relative to the airport. You can take bus #800, we took a taxi for 55 lira, a taxi in Turkey is metered, so you can’t cheat. They settled quickly, on the 4th floor, which I was very pleased with. The room is small, but I think you are not going to sit in the room, each room has a small balcony. The rooms are cleaned every day, without asking, towels are also changed every day. In the hotel you can iron or wash things (1 item 5 lire). The staff is very pleasant and responsive. The view from the hotel is amazing and this is its main advantage. Airplanes, sea, greenery-buzz in one word. Airplanes, by the way, did not interfere with us very much. The territory of the hotel is not large, swimming pool, bar, and the beach. The bar is not bad, there is beer, cocktails, wine and snacks. Speaking of food, the breakfasts are very good. For all 7 days that we were, we did not repeat, not just eggs and sausage, but a lot of cheeses, herbs, vegetables, omelettes, gozleme, boreki, scrambled eggs, pasties, sausages, sausages, kurabie (cookies), fresh buns and bread, the only thing there were not enough fruits, but you can buy them in the store. By the way, there is a small store right across the road (very nice guys work there), and there is a 7-minute walk to Migros, there is also a bus stop across the road from which there are buses to the center, to Konyalti and to the cable car (Kl08,09). The beach is quite good, the ships did not stop, as many wrote, the beach is clean, there are sunbeds, towels are issued at the hotel, umbrellas, a bar, so you won’t be able to carry your food and alcohol. There are almost no people at sea (perhaps because the season is not yet high), and if there are, then only hotel guests. The sea is clean, the entrance is perfect, the children will be very comfortable. WiFi doesn't work well in the room, but it's great around the pool. The only negative, far from the center (about an hour to go).
