4r playa park 3 spain costa dorada.

The review was a little late - all hands did not reach to finish it and place it, but nevertheless, I think it will be useful to those who choose an inexpensive but high-quality hotel in Salou. In addition, the May holidays and the summer season are just around the corner. We have been to Salou many times already, but for some reason we return to this city every time with great pleasure. We rested at the end of May with our son. The decision to go came absolutely suddenly: Natalie-tour released regular special offers, about 550 euros per adult (a child, of course, even cheaper) for 2 weeks of rest with 3 meals a day (FB), so we decided to arrange an unscheduled vacation in Europe ... Yes, this is the very beginning of the season, the sea is still quite cold, although you can already swim. But for little money, you can have a very good rest, again great excursion program, Barcelona is an hour and a half away, the presence of PortAventura, plus you can shop a little - in general, all 33 pleasures. So, everything in order.

Location.
From the airport in Barcelona 1.5 hours by bus. The city center (embankment, fountain) is 15 minutes on foot. The nearest beach (Playa Llarga) is 3-5 minutes away (if you go down the steps very quickly, if you go around through the park, then 10-12 minutes).
Bus stop (PLANA, public transport) 15 meters (to the right) from the hotel entrance. Buses that go to Reus, Tarragona, Barcelona stop here. Schedule on the red pillar or, if you chose sightseeing buses Plan, in the Plan book (they are distributed by young people all over the city, they list all possible excursions, departure timetable, infa in the main languages, including Russian). Public transport costs 2-2.5 euros (depending on the destination) - per person. Plan buses - to Reus and Tarragona for the same price as public transport, only the buses are more comfortable and there are fewer stops. The cost of a ticket to Barcelona is 19.90 euros round-trip (they take them in the morning, pick them up in the evening), in the city you move on your own (by Bas-Turistik or by metro). The journey takes 1.5 hours. The Plan has excursions to the Barcelona Zoo and Aquarium (cost 24 or 26 euros (depending on which you have chosen) per person, ticket included, discount for children) - these buses also bring those who want to wander around Barca themselves (costs the same as and a regular bus 19.90 euros) - only such buses take a very long time to get to Barcelona (about 2.5 hours), because "on board" children and they do not exceed the speed of 60 km.
Reus and Tarragona are very easy to get to by taxi. They are taken many times faster than by bus (because the bus stops at Cap Salou and La Pineda). And they do not bring them to the bus station, but directly to the center or to the necessary shops (in Tarragona we recommend Park Central - like our Mega, only the prices are several times lower, here is also the largest grocery supermarket EROSKI, lovingly called by the Russians Eroshka :). The price, of course, is not the most humane 15-18 euros - but still it is a payment for convenience. You can call a taxi at the reception (just say that you need a taxi there and the receptionists call).
Across the street from the hotel (slightly to the left) ATM, currency exchange. Shops (grocery) within walking distance (there are several of them, everything is nearby). To Burges (one of the central streets), where bars, shops (with clothes), restaurants, Paсhito disco, Tropikal are located a few minutes down the street (from the sea) and to the left. To the station (train to Barcelona) 7-10 minutes by bus (2 euros per person), by taxi 5 minutes (approx. 8-10 euros), 35 minutes on foot (free :)).

Territory, infrastructure.
For a European three-ruble note, normal territory. There are 2 swimming pools - though not very large, next to which there are plastic sun loungers, plus a children's pool. There is a small mini-football field, a mini-golf course, and a playground. A sufficient number of plastic tables, chairs, where you can sit, have a snack, drink. In the lobby of the hotel on the minus 1 floor there are slot machines, billiards (2 euro game), internet (1 euro - 10 minutes). The projector is hanging - you can watch a movie (in my opinion, only in English). In the lobby of the hotel on the ground floor there are vending machines with mineral water, cola, sandwiches, chips. Prices are slightly higher than in stores. The territory is not super green (for example, the Las Vegas hotel, where we rested before, will be more interesting), and yet there are several pine pine trees, some shrubs and flowers, but botanical garden on the territory you will not find. And don't! After all, there is a gorgeous pine park nearby!
The hotel consists of two 7-storey (or rather, nine-storey, because on the minus 1 floor there is a restaurant and a bar, on the ground floor there is a reception, a luggage room, a hall). We lived in a building that is parallel to the sea. The view from the windows to the pool and the sea, on the other side of the city, the garbage can and the neighboring apartments. First, we were given the number 613 (the first digit is the floor, the other two are the room numbers) - the view is not so hot, so we had to go down to the reception, and we were given a room overlooking the sea and the pool - 521. Changed without problems, surcharges, etc. - just lucky, this room was vacated, and we were offered it. We tried to thank the girl at the reception - Natalia - she flatly refused the money. In the mega-season, it is almost impossible to change the room - the hotel is packed to capacity, plus a purely technical side of the matter - rooms are booked for all incoming requests from travel agencies and tourists in advance, i.e. the room is scheduled for moving in for a while in advance, therefore, to change the number, the receptionist needs to carry out several different manipulations associated with the rotation of future reservations between rooms. Nationality does not affect the settlement, just how lucky. In general, we can definitely say that best numbers from the point of view of the view from the room - these are the rooms facing the pool, starting from the 5th floor, although there is noise from the pool during the day (you just have to close the windows and balcony for soundproofing). Those rooms that look at the city and the rooms from the reception are not the best - it can be noisy there, first of all, because of the transport and people who walk along them from bars, discos in the evening (although after Las Vegas the hotel seemed absolutely noiseless - Las Vegas is located in a central place, not far from discos and pubs, where English youth are noisy, singing songs all night long.)

Number.
The room itself is good - clean, bright, spacious enough (we had 3 beds, because we were resting with a child) - we didn't bump into each other, the passages between the beds were normal. True, the double bed consists of 2 singles pushed together. Convenient wardrobe, for some reason only one bedside table, no minibar. TV, there is a condo. Normal size balcony, table, 2 chairs, clothes rack and plenty of space. The bathroom is in a modest white tile, but everything works fine. Plumbing is normal. Bath, not shower, which I think is a plus! There is soap, gel, a hat. The disadvantages include the lack of a refrigerator in the room.
Rooms are cleaned daily. They clean up normally, all the sand that the child dragged from the beach was cleaned up regularly. Nobody breaks at 7 in the morning. They try to clean up when no one is around. Linen is changed 2 times a week, towels as they become dirty. If you get dirty every day, they will change it every day. And so, probably, too, 2 times a week.

Service.
The hotel impressed (in a good sense of the word) with its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. All the staff are friendly, smiling, trying to say something in Russian (good afternoon, good evening, bon appetit, etc.). I liked the staff at the restaurant very much: the cheerful administrator Paola, waiters, bartenders, even cleaning ladies :) are always friendly, happy to help, smile, learn Russian and use it in full :). Drinks are brought quickly, dirty dishes are quickly removed. Before that we had a rest at the Las Vegas hotel ... and so Las Vegas simply cannot be compared with Playa. The latter is much better in a number of indicators, incl. number of service and staff attitude.
A Russian girl Natalya works at the reception, although I'm not sure if she works now. I solved all the issues that arose promptly (helped to change the number), suggested how to get where better, where the food is tastier in the city, etc. Thank you very much! The rest of the front desk staff speaks all major European languages - they were not specifically spoken to.
If in Las Vegas there was simply “indifference” to the Russians, then in Playa they never felt “not like that”. On the contrary :) This is definitely the merit of the hotel management, and of the staff, of course :) Well done!

Food.
Dining at the hotel is a topic for a separate discussion! Diverse, tasty - in short class! It makes no sense to compare the buffet with Turkish or Egyptian fives, but for Europe, especially for 3 stars, it is above all praise! Especially the dinners. Let's say, comparing with a Las Vegas hotel, food in Playa is one level higher.
Breakfasts are standard at first glance - 5-6 types of cold "snacks": slices, fresh vegetables, boiled eggs, etc. "Hot" - fried eggs or scrambled eggs, toast, baked tomatoes, bacon, sausages, beans, potatoes, pancakes, sometimes cutlets and meat; yoghurts (including in packages), muesli, a bunch of pastries, several types of fruits from: apples, bananas, oranges, pears, melon, watermelon, grapefruit. Sometimes fruit salad. Always - champagne! :))) Juices (from vending machines), coffee, tea, milk, mineral water. If you need an early breakfast (in the case of an excursion, for example) - then you need to come to the reception in advance and warn - the "picnic" system is not accepted here.
There is a microwave - baby food can be warmed up for a child.
Lunches are also standard - but everything is delicious. Always a couple of side dishes: potatoes (mashed potatoes, fries, stew), rice (paella), pasta (spaghetti, pasta, ravioli). Salads - 2 types. Fresh vegetables are always in abundance: chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, green salad. Many dressing options: about 4 types of different olive oil, 5-7 types of vinegars, tabasco sauce, chili + a separate container with ketchup, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce and salad dressing. Also olives, olives, pickled cucumbers, pickled onions. Several types of meat (fried, stew, pork, beef, turkey, lamb, chicken), meatballs, 2 types of fish. Fruit (in addition to breakfast, periodically there was passionfruit, grapes, strawberries), ice cream, a bunch of delicious desserts.
Dinner - everything is the same as for lunch (of course, the dishes are different, I mean the assortment) + dishes from the chef: meat (leg - pork or lamb - baked in foil) - cut right there with you, several additional side dishes - for example, delicious jacket potatoes, baked vegetables, etc. Plus sometimes seafood (squid, shrimp).
Desserts and fruits, as well as for lunch, are varied and tasty!
Gala Dinner on Fridays! Then the feast of the belly is direct! Shrimp (huge tray), squid or mussel kebabs, seafood salads, super-mega delicious meat, fish and a variety of side dishes. In addition to everything else, a waiter walks around the room and pours free champagne.
Drinks for lunch and dinner are chargeable. Water 1.5 euros per liter. Cola, juice, beer 2 euros. Wine from 7 euros to 25 per bottle. The wine list is very good. As for the choice of a specific wine, you need to take at least 9 euros. For 9 euros there is a good wine Rene Barbier Classic (in the store the same 3 euros), but the cost of more expensive wines is progressing - the cost is comparable to the prices in stores! For example, I recommend Vina Alarde Rioja Reserva for 15 euros, Vina Ardanza Rioja Reserva from the iconic producer of Rioja - La Rioja Alta for 22 euros, and absolutely incomparable wine from the "revolutionary of Spanish winemaking" Alejandro Fernandez - Pesquera Tinto Ribera del Duero Crianza - for 25 Euro. So it turns out that when you take wine in a restaurant for 15-25 euros, you practically pay its store cost, the price tag for expensive wines in the hotel restaurant is minimal.
From the serious advantages: Nothing ends, if you come 15 minutes before the end of the dinner, everything will be the same and in the same quantity as at the very beginning. There are always “diet” dishes on the table. There is always something to feed the child so that it is not super-fried and spicy (in Las Vegas this was a problem).
In short, respect to the hotel manager - food is 6 on a five-point scale :)

Lobby bar.
Ice cream at the bar 1.75 (one ball) or "Algide's variations" on a theme for 2 or more euros, beer 2 euros, cocktails about 5 euros, a liter of sangria about 10 euros, there is bottled beer, cola, fanta, mineral water. From 16.45 to 17.45 in the bar "Happy hour" 2 drinks for the price of 1. When happy hour comes, the bartender fervently rings a small bell, a noisy crowd of people immediately gathers, wanting to drink at half price :) At this time, the bar fills up almost to the eyeballs, the fun begins. True, not the entire assortment of the bar (cocktails, for example, are not included) - but everything is basic: beer, wine, sangria, cola, etc. Of everything that we tried in the bar, only the wine by the glass was not pleasant (they are pouring some kind of rubbish) ...

Sea beach
Nearby (3-5 minutes) is the best, in my opinion, Salou beach - Playa Llarga, which is located at the foot of a pine park. There are not so many people as on the central beach, so it is quieter, cleaner and more pleasant :) Sun beds - 4 euros per day, awning - 5 euros. The entry into the sea is long, which is great for vacationers with children! The sea is clean. There is a bar with beer, cola, ice cream, hamburgers, etc. There are water activities. To change your impressions, you can walk to the nearby city beach - we liked it much less - closer to the center, cafes, etc.

Animation, entertainment
Daytime animation no. But the evening shows - really pleased! Flamenco and other dances of the peoples of the world - different groups come (including Russians, "Kalinka-Malinka" and ladies in kokoshniks with wooden spoons were a huge success!), Magic tricks, hits of past years performed by a handsome Spaniard, etc. And not at the level of "soviet amateur performance", but very professional. We liked. especially when compared with last year's Las Vegas, in which the animation was for 70-year-old retirees from Western Europe and no one else was attracted by it.
But in general, in Salou, evening entertainment is usually outside the hotel - in cafes, clubs, bars, discos, of which there are a great many :)
In Salou itself (if you are thinking) we recommend the La Barca restaurant - at the very beginning of the central alley along the beach: mussels 5.5 euros, a plate of seafood (mussels, large shrimps, lobsters and fish fillets) for 23 euros, such a plate with lobster - a little over 40 euros. Sangria 10 euros, sangria with cava (champagne) is especially good. Wine costs a standard - from 10 to 30 euros. An excellent accompaniment for fish dishes I recommend the very aromatic and pleasant-tasting white Vina Esmeralda from Torres. We were also recommended a fish restaurant by the Playa de Capellans beach. Well, if you leave Salou, then, of course, you should visit the excellent fish restaurants that are located in Cambrils.

Children
The hotel is definitely great for families with children! Food - you can always find (and not 1 option) than to feed the child. The staff is very friendly to the kids - they give candy at every corner :) For preschoolers, they put a normal bed (not a folding bed). Best beach Salou is just around the corner! The train stop is next to the hotel. On Burges (10 minutes from the hotel) there is an amusement park for children (city) + a bunch of attractions (cost 1 euro) in gaming centers scattered throughout Salou. You can rent a stroller at the hotel (3 euros per day + 20 euros deposit). The restaurant has highchairs. For lunch and dinner, you can buy canned puree (Nestlé) right in the restaurant for very little ones. There is no animation (in the Turkish sense), although a girl animator walks around the hotel, conducts some contests during the day, in the evening before the show they are awarded diplomas, etc. But there are a lot of kids - they play with each other, so no one toils out of boredom :)
It should be noted that groups of Spanish children can visit the hotel - but the staff tries to protect them from the rest of the guests - the groups dine in a separate nook in the restaurant and do not bother anyone, and yet those who are annoyed by the appearance of groups of children in the hotel should take this into account fact. It didn't bother us.

Walks in Tarragona
The military settlement of Tarraco was founded by the Romans, having landed here in 218 BC. After about 150 years, Tarraco received from Julius Caesar the status of an urban colony, and then generally became the capital of the Roman province on the Iberian Peninsula - therefore, there are a lot of monuments of ancient Roman architecture. It will be absolutely unforgivable not to visit this city - there is something to spend your time on.
It is best to come to Tarragona for a full day. During the daytime, Tarrogon freezes - a siesta, so if you decide to go shopping (of which there are quite a lot), then it is better to do it before one or after five, in the afternoon you can just walk around the historical center of the city, sightseeing, or dive into the shopping mall Park Central that I mentioned earlier.
If you come from Salou by bus, then almost immediately get to the city center - Tarragona bus station is very well located. Every self-respecting Catalan city must have Ramblas. There are two of them in Tarragona. On the new - Rambla Nova - the main tourist street, modern and wide, you will see luxurious buildings in the Art Nouveau, Baroque and Neoclassical styles; a fountain decorated with sculptures depicting four continents; squares, gardens and parks. It is very pleasant to walk here, looking at the shops along the way. The Rambla ends with the so-called "Balcony of Europe" - a beautiful observation deck overlooking the sea and the lower fishing part of the city. From here, turning left, you can walk to the famous Roman amphitheater, where gladiators fought many centuries ago. The old Rambla runs parallel to the New Rambla, closer to the port and the historic center of Tarragona, where, in addition to the amphitheater, you can see other well-preserved ancient Roman buildings - the Forum, the circus, the Tower of Scipio, the Aqueduct or the so-called "Devil's Bridge" - part of the city wall 1100 meters long and a height of 12 meters. Among the sights of Tarragona during the Middle Ages, the Cathedral de Santa Maria deserves special attention - the largest temple in Catalonia, the foundation of which is made in the form of a Greek cross, and the architecture combines elements of the Romanesque and Gothic styles.
I do not recommend eating at the new Rambla - we have never come across a successful restaurant, but it is better to do it in the old town on the Place de la Fon - an old town square decorated with the Town Hall. Many cozy restaurants and cafes are concentrated here, where food is very tasty.
In general, Tarragona is quieter than, for example, Barcelona, more compact and no less beautiful. There are fewer tourists and less bustle here. But again, there are a dozen chemical factories, an industrial zone, the so-called Camp da Tarragona. This is no longer a Roman-medieval paradise, but Big city with a developed industry and a large port. From the beaches of La Pineda, hordes of tankers are perfectly visible, sailing to the port of Tarragona. But you have to close your eyes to this, otherwise you will not get pleasure from the city. I noticed that many Russians who come here say that they would like to live in Tarragona, this city attracts like a magnet.
Well, returning to the Playa Park hotel, I boldly give it an A. would recommend this hotel for a holiday in Salou.

P.S. Thank you all for reading to the end! In a week I will post a review on Phuket - the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket hotel - it is now in the writing stage.

Rested 10 nights from 08 October. The hotel is very convenient if you do not want to live in the center of the anthill: relatively quiet place After going towards the embankment, there is a large green park with a beach on the left, and if you go to the right, in 5-7 minutes on foot you will find yourself on the central promenade of Salou. The room itself has everything you need, everything is new, clean, made with love and taste. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily, bed linen is changed every two days. It is worth mentioning the restaurant separately: once you enter the hall and see all the abundance, you will forget that you are living in a 3-star hotel. They feed there like in 5 stars. The variety is very delicious. Everyone is friendly and the service is great. Drinks at dinner are paid - this is the practice of all European restaurants that do not work on the "all inclusive" system. For which I lowered the score for the state of the room - I would like the refrigerator to be already included in the room rate. The refrigerator has a separate power supply and will not turn off when you leave the room. This is very easy to check: there is a lamp on the tabletop, powered by the same outlet as the refrigerator. When you take out the electric key when leaving the room, the lights go out everywhere, except for this lamp and the refrigerator. The refrigerator service costs 25 euros for 7 days, which is somewhat expensive, in my opinion. Every day there was some kind of animation: either live music or dancing, but we never went, we are not interested, every evening we walked in the green and fragrant park on the left. Were on all three beaches located nearby, and most of all I liked the area of the promenade. The hotel is very beautiful, clean, everything is thought out to the smallest detail and I recommend it to everyone.

I'll start with the shortcomings, because there are few of them. The first is an uncomfortable long monopillow. The second is the lack of a refrigerator in the room. A minibar is offered for 25 euros per week. But keep in mind that when you leave your room, the electricity is cut off. therefore, it is not worth storing food there and it makes no sense to take it. Pool animation every day until midnight. In principle, we didn't care, because we hadn't come home before. And there are no quiet hotels in Salou. Now about the merits. The room and the shower room are spacious, a good TV that reads a USB stick. Spacious comfortable balcony with a good dryer. Cleaned every day! The reception has Russian speaking staff. You will lick your food, you can change dinners for lunches if you take half board. Themed nights on Wednesdays and Fridays. There are as many as 4 different beaches within walking distance for every taste.

I went to Playa Park with my sister in September 2015. I liked the hotel and met all our expectations. At the reception they speak several languages, including Russian. The staff are friendly and polite. We were satisfied with the room. The room had everything you need: safe, TV, hairdryer, balcony. Housekeeping, for four plus. Meals - buffet. Great variety, lots of fruits. After each guest, tablecloths are changed and everything is cleaned up. Staff helpful. We used the service more than once, early breakfast and late dinner are very convenient. Good and entertainment, various interesting contests are constantly held. The animators work with children almost all day long. They arrange various sports games, competitions. In the evening, they often skipped a cocktail, another, at the pool bar. A magical, non-constrained setting. The hotel is located in a quiet area with several beaches to choose from. We rested at Playa Larga. We always found a free spot. The infrastructure is not poorly developed, there are cafes, shops, restaurants nearby. You can go anywhere from the bus stop right outside the hotel. We went to Barcelona. From vacation, remained good impressions, returned refreshed and tanned!

Welcome all! We are resting with my mother in Playa Park, a little over 3 years old. The last time I still had a little son with me, in September 2015. I will write a review about the rest, taking into account the child. I agree with all the positive reviews about food and accommodation - everything is great with that! With a small child, walk far to the beach, and even up the steps. The beach is very clean, fine sand, smooth entry. My son really liked the waves. We slept for lunch, so we went to the sea only once. For breakfast, they ate breakfast cereals with milk with pleasure, healthy and tasty. For lunch, a choice of 2 types of soup - again great, since I fed my son with soups. The food is great. The choice is certainly greater, but I described what interested me. We spent the rest very calmly, the beach, the room and the walks around the territory. The hotel left good impressions! I am sure that we will come back more than once.

The hotel was chosen according to the price-quality ratio. The tour agency strongly recommended Playa Park, a hotel with a claim for 4 ... After reading the reviews, we decided that it was, it was not. The trip took place in August, from 17 to 27. 15. Immediately imbued with Spain. Now a few words about the hotel. The first impression, to be honest, is not very good. The interior is a bit old. It can be seen that the hotel received a large number of guests. The rooms made the same impression (we had 2 double rooms). The room is standard, clean, everything you need was available. Despite the disadvantages that I have already listed, there were more advantages. The hotel is well located. Not far away is the city where you could have a great walk, go to a particular restaurant, or sunbathe on the beach. The restaurant has excellent food, the tablecloths were changed after each visitor. The children really liked the work of the animators. Indeed, not bad for Spain. Of course, having arrived in Spain, no one planned to spend time in the room. Therefore, I ask you not to consider a minus for a tired interior as a minus. The main thing was where to rest, take a shower, change clothes. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and really matches the price-performance ratio.

We got acquainted with Playa Park six years ago. In July 2015, we decided to go back to Spain. The ticket was bought in February, they did not consider other options. Let's go to the already known place. Traveled by five - 2 adults and 3 children. I express our gratitude to the hotel - everything was at the highest level. Rooms, food, service - nothing to complain about. Cleaned up with high quality. I will tell you about nutrition separately. Diverse, tasty and high quality. There were so many fruits that we ate for the whole summer. The beach is well maintained. The sea is clean and warm. There are a lot of vacationers, but despite this, they always found a place for themselves. Perhaps due to the fact that they tried to come early. When next time we get together in Spain, definitely here.

Pros: Favorable location of the hotel. There is a bus stop nearby, allowing you to make your own excursions around the resort of Salou. The territory is well-groomed.The window overlooks the coast. The staff is kind, fluent in Russian.Diverse food: meat dishes, fish dishes, seafood, fruits, ice cream, desserts.

Good time of the day! The first time I decided to leave a review, so.
Good time of the day! The first time I decided to leave a review, because they chose this hotel according to recommendations, and as a result, they did not understand why this hotel was so praised. We rested from 07.19 to 2.08 with children 13 and 5 years old. We arrived at the hotel in the evening from Reus airport and checked in immediately. They gave us room 647, he was near the elevator, we had no neighbors, plus a sea view. The room was divided by a sliding door, so it can probably be considered a family, two balconies with clothes dryers, two flat TVs, new plumbing. Cleaning in the room was not pleasing, there was dirt under the beds from past tourists, dust on the headboards and bedside tables. Tipping was left a couple of times, then stopped. However, it was noisy because the room overlooked the road, the buses like missiles taking off, closed balcony doors did not save absolutely. Despite the fact that I sleep like a dead woman, I woke up from them all the time.
Now about the most painful thing - about food. I do not understand why everyone is so praising food here. For breakfast during these two weeks they were given only eggs (scrambled eggs and fried eggs), and it was not far from scrofula. They took yoghurts, which were also two identical every day, but you can't really eat much from them. They gave fried bacon, sometimes cardboard sausages and fries, muesli, and some fruit, pastries, and that's it! The child waited several days at least for pancakes, so for a change, he waited, they turned out to be tasteless, their daughter even refused to eat them, although pancakes are her favorite dish. Free drinks at breakfast: juices, tea, coffee, milkshakes, for those who like to drink in the morning, sometimes champagne.
We had half board, changed dinners for lunch three times. However, soup was also served for dinner. I got the impression that they are from bags or with bouillon cubes. We even managed to catch a huge lump of this concentrate in the child's plate. There are no eggplants, no zucchini, of all vegetables, green beans and green peas, thawed. In addition, the impression was that all their chickens were breaded, also defrosted semi-finished products. Shrimps were given once, on our last dinner at this hotel, and once they found a ham, which, unfortunately, did not please us. However, for dinner, you can still find something for everyone to get even more pleasure from these dishes! Everything has been said about drinks in other reviews - everything is paid. Traveling to other countries, I somehow did not pay attention to food, for me it was not the main thing. And then I turned it :-) Of course, I didn’t come there, I understand that, but for that kind of money I would still like more, and besides, we need to feed the children. The fruits were delicious, I have never eaten such ripe and juicy pineapples. Delicious ice cream, which is in a small refrigerator, in jars.
We enjoyed a truly Mediterranean cuisine in the tapas y ole tavern, located not far from the hotel: go downstairs, turn left on the second street. 1 kg of delicious huge grilled shrimp, a plate of jamon and a bottle of delicious wine for only 24 euros. This was enough for four of us. In addition, there is the cheapest and most delicious paella with seafood. I have always disdained to taste seafood, I could not even stand the smell of them - in this place they know how to handle sea reptiles. In addition, very nice people work there, who approach their work with great love and responsibility. A very pleasant place. As a result, we bought jamon and wine at the same place. Everyone really liked both.
We did not see animation in hotels as such. No water aerobics, no yoga or gymnastics, which I look forward to every year so that I can devote at least these 2 weeks to my beloved. They could not get into the miniclub either, it was closed all the time, and I would call the children's disco a microdisk, it lasted 10-15 minutes, with stupid movements. From the evening shows we watched flamenco to understand what it is and miss playa park, from which people, after some time, left. The animation somehow passes side by side, imperceptibly. In addition, a completely non-pontoon pool, around which there are bar tables, not sun loungers, and pine trees grow, which interfere with sunbathing. Although if you like to lie in the shade, you will like it. The second pool is for children, and they only bathed in it once.
The beach holiday in Spain was disappointing, although we didn't expect much. Honestly, the first time I rested in the south with rains, strong winds that carried away everything, both sun beds and umbrellas. After lying on the sand for a short time, I turned into a dune. This was the first two days we arrived. Then the weather improved, and with it the mood and life. But the happiness was short-lived. It is worth noting, however, that by a happy coincidence, in cloudy weather, we went on excursions. In the last two days, it was raining heavily, the sea became very cold, became dirty, caused by algae. I came to the conclusion (maybe I'm wrong) that there is nothing to do there in August. In addition, I like to go to the beach at 8 o'clock to sunbathe under the gentle sun, at 12-13 to leave and at 16 to return to return home with a beautiful tan. Bummer! The sun appears at 10 o'clock in the morning and is immediately scorching, the Spaniards come to the beach in the very heat, sunbathe with naked torsos (at any age, and the elderly too). It jarred me a little, because children ask a lot of questions, and somehow it was uncomfortable in front of my husband. They all lie on each other's heads. In general, she returned many years ago to Evpatoria. In addition, for such a cost of vouchers, beach towels could be given, well, at least for a deposit. I was tortured to wash 4 salted and covered with sand towels, which did not have time to dry.
We took an excursion to Barcelona (Gaudí and fountains), Montserat all day and went to PortAventura for two days. Everyone took the plans from the bass. Yes, the Spaniards do not know how to present their country, with a rich architecture and history. We were disappointed with the first excursion, and we were afraid to take the second one to Montserat, but getting there on our own is rather difficult, especially if you have children. You have to go to Barcelona only yourself and try to really enjoy this wonderful city and its wonderful inhabitants. There is something to see, there is something to admire, but with the excursion bass plans, we did not succeed. PortAventura will give the extreme sports an unforgettable experience. I advise you not to buy the express train, because in addition to paying for the entrance to the park, you will pay 60 euros, and there were no less queues for the express train. We went there on Monday and Tuesday and it paid off. On Monday, we stood in queues for the most popular slides for 40-50 minutes, the day before 20.00 we took a ride on almost all slides, for comparison, friends went on Wednesday and only took 3 slides in 5 hours. We took a ticket for two days, and it paid off. In the first, until you take a closer look, until you figure out what's what, time will fly by, besides, small children, even on the street, are not allowed on all the merry-go-rounds. I advise you to visit the sand animation show in China. Draws a girl from Ukraine, who in the hall did not leave anyone indifferent. And before the parade of heroes and the final show at 10.15 pm, go to the show with lights in Polynesia. We arrived on the first day for the opening of the park at 10.00 and stayed there somewhere until 21.00, and on the second day we arrived after 14.00 to stay until the very end and show the final show to our five-year-old daughter, but no fireworks, loud songs in her ear helped her wake up. All the slides seemed to me scary, all high-speed and with bends. The most terrifying bako fury in mediterania. I rolled to bruises, but when I watched all the videos, there was an incredible cackle. By the way, I advise you to buy a silicone flash drive bracelet there, all the photos will cost you less. A video costs 14.95, a photo on average 5-6 euros. Yes, carry all things in front. My backpack was attempted 2 times on the diablo hill, there was even a scandal with one girl who spoke only Spanish, but for some reason she immediately understood our conversation with her husband in Russian, in which I expressed my suspicions. Unfortunately for them, my backpack only had a change of clothes and half-eaten hamburgers. By the way, food there is expensive 4 hamburgers and a drink cost us 50 euros. Horror: to eat sandwiches over 2,000 rubles.
It is better to go to Taragona by bus 5 or 22, they are direct. There is also something to see.
At 10 am on the day of departure, the room had to be vacated, it costs 30 euros to extend only until 6 pm and not at the height of the season, in which we just rested. You can put your belongings in the luggage room, take towels there and go to the shower after the beach. However, we are worn out to sort out these suitcases: fold, put away, then take out again and put away again. Departure from the hotel was at 15.00, the plane was at 17.30, but upon arriving at the airport, we were told that the departure was postponed to 19.30, and then to 20.25. There was nothing to keep myself busy for 4 hours at Reus airport. Long live Ural Airlines and Reus airport.
