Where to go to rest on the February holidays. Crimean holidays

The most popular travel routes for Russians on February 23 were St. Petersburg and Sochi. These are the conclusions reached by experts of the travel service, having studied the sales of railway and air tickets for the February holidays.

Top sellers on the railway

It turned out that Muscovites most often bought tickets for trains to St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Minsk and Yaroslavl. At the same time, the Moscow - St. Petersburg route is the absolute leader: it accounts for almost a third of all tickets issued on Tutu.ru.

According to the service, in February, the average cost of train tickets from Moscow increased from 15 percent (to St. Petersburg) to 50 percent (to Nizhny Novgorod).

Overseas destinations

While the fare is railroad within Russia has increased, tickets for trains going abroad have become more affordable. In particular, tickets to european capitals and the countries of the near abroad on February 23 could be purchased at about 40 percent cheaper than their average cost.

Tallinn, Helsinki and Riga are among the top three European cities. The most demanded in the segment of the near abroad were Minsk, Brest and Kiev.

Air travel

Air ticket sales for February 22-26 showed that residents of the capital chose cities such as Sochi, St. Petersburg, Mineral water, Simferopol and Krasnodar. In addition, the first "twenty" routes for air travel included foreign capitals - Chisinau and Prague.

The number of purchased tickets to Prague remained approximately at the same level as in 2016, although the tickets themselves have risen in price by an average of 25 percent. The rise in popularity of Chisinau, on the contrary, is accompanied by a 25% reduction in prices.

Compared to 2016, experts from Tutu.ru note a significant increase in demand for air tickets in February - by about 40-50 percent. In their opinion, this is due, among other things, to the spread of online sales of air tickets, a decrease in prices in a number of areas and the strengthening of the ruble.

According to the momondo international travel metasearch, there is a demand among independent tourists from Russia for travel for the February holidays in 2017.

Compared to last year, when the demand for travel among Russians was low, this year has seen a record growth. The interest of Russians in foreign travel is growing especially actively, which is primarily due to the strengthening of the ruble and the decline in exchange rates, as well as to the presence of long weekends.

Irina Ryabovol, a spokesperson for momondo in Russia, told momondo that international flights during the February holidays increased by 303 percent year-on-year, and domestic flights by 135 percent. 31 percent of Russians are planning to travel on Defender of the Fatherland Day across the expanses of the Motherland in 2017, 69 percent will go abroad.

This year, Defender of the Fatherland Day falls on Friday, which means that there are 3 days off ahead of us. And if you add half of the previous day to them, you can go on a full-fledged journey, especially considering that February is not the most tourist month, and the prices for air tickets and hotels are an order of magnitude lower than during the January holidays. We figured out where to spend a cheap February weekend.

A huge number of legends are associated with it, for example, there is a version that it was Staraya Russa that gave the name to all of Russia and that this place was the birthplace of Rurik.

The new year has passed. There are still 2 months of winter left. But these will be tough months. How to spend them in order to have a little rest from snow, blizzard and cold weather? Let's figure out where you can go for the February 2017 holidays to relax. Basically, you can stay at home and spend time in front of the TV. But will there be any benefit from this? So let's have a better rest, before the long summer season!

From the harsh winter to the warm sand.
Yes, in February you can not only bask near the battery, but also bask in the sun, lying on the sand. Where is this possible? For example, in Goa! This is the closest resort to our country, and at the same time it is cheap. Goa will greet you with warm sun, air temperature up to +35 degrees and gentle sea.
There are other destinations where it is as warm as in Goa. True, these places are far from our country, and a trip to them is quite expensive. But still, we will tell you which countries they are.

Firstly, this is the Maldives, which are beautiful at any time of the year. Clear water, corals, houses on the coast and even in the ocean! The Maldives is a holiday paradise.
The Maldives and Seychelles are in no way inferior. The islands are just as beautiful. Same clear water, palm trees on the shore and constant sun. White sand and it's all crazy. When you visit the Seychelles, you will want to stay here forever.

Excursions in February.
In Europe, the last month of winter is not so cold. In some countries, even freezing temperatures and cities "come to life". It is in February that it is best to go to Europe for excursions. For example, you can go to Italy to Rome or Milan. Naples will also welcome you with warmth.
If you prefer "old" Europe, then visit the Czech Republic and in particular Prague. At this time of the year, it just "thaws" from winter and becomes amazingly beautiful.

But it is better not to go to Austria, France and other ski countries and resorts. Ski enthusiasts are just ending their season and are eager to skate for the whole summer. Therefore, all resorts in these countries will be packed with tourists with skis.

Where to go to improve your health?
Winter is coming to an end. You are tired, your body needs vitamins and rest. It's time for you to visit Israel or Jordan! In these countries, there is a huge number of spa salons, medical hotels and there is a Dead Sea that heals!
