Goodbye Moscow and hello... Abu Dhabi!!! Yes, yes, Abu Dhabi was our first stop. Flight to Etihad Airways with a connection in Abu Dhabi. And believe me, there is something to do at the Abu Dhabi airport: a large airport with a sufficient number of Duty Free shops, restaurants, cafes, recreation areas, smoking rooms, etc.
Night flight, and early in the morning we are in the Maldives!!! Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and the islands did not look so colorful from the window, but it's still breathtaking when you see something like this - a country consisting of small islands...

25 minutes drive and welcome to VELASSARU MALDIVES 5* hotel. Great hotel with a cozy and friendly atmosphere! Stylish modern detached villas and bungalows, house coral reef, delicious food and a warm welcome (although I must admit that we were warmly welcomed in all hotels, but this was our first experience) left very pleasant memories of this hotel in our hearts. The hotel is suitable for a romantic getaway for couples, newlyweds and for those who want to get high service and relax from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
In the evening there was a cocktail party with the hotel management.
And after that we went on a cruise on a local dhoni boat to see off the sunset. But unfortunately we didn't see the sunset due to cloudy weather...
And the next day we were waiting not only new hotel, but also a new type of transfer - a seaplane.
Ooooh, it was an unforgettable experience! How great it is to fly over the Maldives and look at the beauty of the ocean and islands from an almost bird's eye view.

Imagine a picture - you are in the Maldives, at the Dhigali hotel, in the evening ... you have a glass of cocktail in your hand, you are sitting on a swing in the Haali bar and seeing off the sunset .... What's not cool? But we again failed to spend the sunset - the clouds covered the entire sky. Moreover, we survived a real flood that evening! It was raining like a bucket, water was knee-deep, but still everyone is happy and happy, because we are in the Maldives!
Yes, perhaps the hotel has every chance of becoming popular - new, stylish, excellent food, a large selection of drinks, an interestingly stylized bar, a beautiful lagoon ...

Putin - see for yourself in the photo) teaches the hotel staff the Russian language! And this suggests that there are a lot of Russian tourists in this hotel!

Ah, yes... and another sunset. And our next attempt to carry it out ...
Here it is the SUN! And almost cloudless skies! AND SUNSET!!! And live music on the beach - playing saxophone and hang ... Bliss ...
BUT! At the last moment, the CLOUDS again cover the sky, and again we were unable to see the sun beyond the horizon.

The hotel is located on a large island with paved paths, a large selection sports entertainment and entertainment in the evenings (discotheques, live music, crab racing, feeding stingrays and sharks, etc.). By the way, the first time we saw the feeding of stingrays and sharks was at the SUN ISLAND RESORT & SPA 5 *
The standard and superior rooms are very basic. Democratic hotel for outdoor activities.
In the morning the weather turned bad again. The rain was pouring down like a bucket, the ocean was rough, but we bravely went to the next hotel. Oh what a trip! We have never experienced such extreme during our infotour! Even the captain of the boat and his crew put on life jackets. We jumped on the waves like on a ball. The downpour poured into the cracks (fortunately it's warm). Everyone held on tight, whoever could for what. And so we sailed for an hour ... How I already wanted to go ashore! And finally, OH - the LILY BEACH RESORT & SPA 5 * hotel with its famous Platinum Plan food. We dried off a little, warmed up and went to lunch. And there is nothing there - sushi, rolls, various meats, salads, tom yum soup!!! And it's all on the buffet! Yes… it’s not for nothing that the hotel is famous for its cuisine. And what a program of events they arranged for us! But everything is in order!
First, cheese and wine tasting. Chef Monsieur Lionel himself met us and was our guide in the world of cheeses and wine. All cheese is delivered to the hotel directly from France, which makes Monsieur Lionel very proud.

And after all this cheese and wine disgrace, we went on an evening fishing trip. blue marlin, of course, they didn’t catch them, but they didn’t return empty-handed either.

And that is not all! We quickly changed and went to dinner. And there…. The chef and the whole team of cooks "killed" us on the spot! Judge for yourself - shrimp, langoustines, crabs, lobsters, oysters ... and for dessert - a handmade dessert.
Well, and also - feeding sharks and a bodu-take show ...
Despite the fact that heavy rain poured again in the evening, nothing could spoil our mood after such a day!
Yep, LILY BEACH RESORT&SPA 5 * put an EXCLAMATION POINT at the end of our information tour. True, we did not know about this yet. After all, the next day before flying home, we had one more hotel left - ADAARAN CLUB RANNALHI 4 *.
And the day began in the best possible way - in the morning the sun shone. Those who got up early managed to swim and sunbathe, but by 10 am the weather was already like this:
A few minutes later it began to rain again and the wind picked up.
Fortunately, the seaplanes did not cancel their flights, and after kissing the management of the LILY BEACH RESORT & SPA 5 * hotel,
we went to Male.
Arriving in Male, it became clear that we would not be able to visit ADAARAN CLUB RANNALHI 4 * - rain, wind and waves interfered. And we still had 3.5 hours before check-in for our flight. The TEZ TOUR MALDIVES office offered a walk around the capital - Male, with which we agreed with pleasure, because Male is one of the smallest capitals in the world! We went on a local dhoni boat to Male. We moored and got into a real anthill! No joke - a population of about 100,000 people in an area of 5.8 km 2! Do not believe it - despite the fact that Male is about 2 km long and about 1 km wide, around the island locals move on bikes and cars!!! We looked at the Grand Mosque,
the presidential palace, the Ministry of the Interior, the central square,
visited the fruit and fish markets,
as well as souvenir shops!
3.5 hours flew by! Now it's time to head back to the airport...
How sad to leave! Time has flown by! We do not want to say goodbye, because we want to return to the Maldives again and again!
