I continue to talk about our New Year holidays in Finland. So, we decided to go to Lapland and look at Finnish Santa Claus.

On the Internet, we looked at to get to the train from Helsinki by train, the road will take 12 hours. The destination-city of Rovaniemi (the capital of Finnish Lapland). All day we slept and walked around the town. In Lapland darkens very early. It starts to blighten somewhere at ten in the morning, and at two in the day he also darkens.

Our hotel was located in the center, we walked a lot, went to the shops and bought souvenirs. By the way, in the same store met a Russian woman, she lives in Rovaniemi for more than ten years. And she told us that the best souvenir from Lapland is tea with a cloudberry and such a bookmark for the book.
