The reception staff is incompetent; upon check-in, they couldn’t find my payment for a very long time (although I booked the hotel a month in advance with a non-refundable payment immediately for the entire period of stay through Booking!) and demanded that I pay again, citing the fact that I only had one day paid for and without breakfast, after an hour of torment they still sorted everything out and settled in. For a week's stay they asked for a deposit of $500, but then they agreed on $200, which was returned a month after departure. The hotel is located on an island, there is nothing in the area except a deserted embankment with rental cars for children, the nearest mall is 15 minutes by taxi, a minimarket with prices 2-3 times higher than in Moscow is a 10-minute walk away.

Breakfast and dinner were great, everything was great, room, pool, beach, super! Dinner can be purchased for $40 per person, but it's worth it.

Attention: do not believe when the clinic tells you that it takes a very long time to agree with the insurance company on the medicine and offers to buy it for cash! We had an all Inc package, which included snacks from 13 to 16, in fact they asked us for money for them (75 dirhams per set). Which is strange. I have attached a photo of the reminder for guests.

The fastest Check-in) Wonderful cookies upon arrival. Nice and clean room (we had the furthest building from the main building 4.5.1 - very quiet and a wonderful view of the sea). There is a lot of entertainment for children: in the children's water park there is heated water (!), even in Atlantis there is no such thing in the children's area, a warm children's pool, a good playroom. The food is delicious, various cheeses, delicious salads (Greek, Caesar, vegetable - there was none with mayonnaise), always meat and fish. Delicious desserts. The staff is always friendly and ready to help with everything. Special thanks to the chef - I saw that my child could not decide on food for dinner, he came up and asked what she wanted - after 5 minutes we had a dish for her))) This attitude towards the guests amazed me. The child was full, the parents were happy. Thank you. By the way, it’s important - on the hotel premises medical center, medical policies are accredited, you can get help, if necessary, without leaving the hotel. This is very important for holidays with children.

The hotel is trying to be like All inclusive in Turkey, but cannot cope with such a large influx of people. Cleaning often came after lunch, when the child needed to sleep. True, we agreed with the reception and began to clean up before lunch))) in the restaurant there was continuous shouting and bustle, everyone was running around with plates in two long halls. The waiters simply don’t have time to serve and often forget about orders. Among the dishes: there is little meat, it is not prepared as usual for a European, the appearance of grilled turkey and beef is pleasing. In general, if you have children, it’s ok, but not great. If there are two people, choose a quieter hotel.

If you are traveling with small children, this hotel is suitable for you. The territory is quite large, there is a water park, a children's playroom, and two playgrounds. The sea is absolutely calm, warm, gentle entrance. Two outdoor heated children's pools and one indoor. The food is quite suitable for baby food, pasta, rice, potatoes, stew or nuggets are always available. The rooms are comfortable, large comfortable beds. I highly recommend the rooms at the Bay Club, direct access to the sea and pool, verandas with sofas.

Lice after rest

I rested from April 30 to May 9, 2019, with two children, everything was good, except for the restaurant (Bai Club), the food was monotonous, meat was rare, I saw fish twice, otherwise I liked it. After arriving a day later, the daughter was found to have lice, the son did not have any, the daughter had African braids done in a beauty salon on the hotel premises near the Bai Club restaurant, I believe that lice could have been picked up there, since if they were anywhere else, then they would have been both for me and my son. Regarding the administrators, I can say that it is better to contact Anastasia to resolve issues; I do not recommend contacting Asem, since she performs her duties formally, behaves arrogantly and without due respect for the guests. Other administrators communicate exclusively in English, so if you don’t know it, you will experience difficulties in your stay due to the language barrier. The sea is good and clean, jellyfish are not dangerous. A photographer on site takes photos of you for free for an hour or two, then you buy the photo from him, this is where the surprises begin, for example, to send one photo to your disk, it will cost you $8, and this is without printing. The air conditioners are set to 21 degrees automatically, so when you come in or out, it feels like going from an oven to a freezer and vice versa, so you can get a heart attack or catch a cold. Spent three days at this hotel May holidays 2019. Don't be confused by the five stars and the name Hilton in the title. In reality, by analogy with other hotels, this is a four. The food is good: tasty and varied. But the quality of the “restaurant” raises questions. Rather, it is a “dining room” with eternally sticky tables and worn-out chairs. There are a lot of people. The main problem is that this hotel does not have a sea. No, there is a beach, but the bay is too closed from the sea, fresh water does not get there. This is clearly visible on the map. As a result, tourists are encouraged to swim in a “soup” of green algae, foam and sunblock film. Visibility in the water - you stand up to your waist, your legs are not visible. One entry into such a “sea” was enough for me. Another funny thing is that the best, cleanest central part of this reservoir is reserved for aquatic species sports: jet skis and boats. Tourists swim in the pools. The most desperate ones climb into this coastal swamp. You won’t even be able to lie on the beach there: there are far fewer umbrellas than sunbeds. Although the hotel was booked for 10 days, after a couple of days spent in it, it became clear that “the vacation had to be saved,” because we were going to the sea. I had to urgently move to Hilton Al Hamra Golf Resort, which is on the other side of the bay. 7 minutes by taxi, but the impression is completely different. There's a great beach there! Waves, sand, clear (by Emirati standards, of course) water. In short, if you are going to the Emirates to swim in the sea, then there is nothing to do in Doubletree. If you are satisfied with swimming pools and an all-inclusive setting with a large number of tourists, then you can consider this hotel, keeping in mind that it is closer to four stars than five. In May 2019 we visited the hotel for the second time. Room 1822 on the eighth floor with sea view. The view is great. Cleaning was done in a timely manner. The room has a kettle, hairdryer, iron and even an alarm clock. The food is okay. If you are not a gourmet, you definitely won’t go hungry. Fruits include watermelon, melon, pineapple and something else. The pool is large and comfortable. Low tide on the beach in the morning, normal in the afternoon. Coarse bulk sand. There are jellyfish, but they are blue and clearly visible in the water, so they do not cause problems. The road from the airport to the hotel by bus is 1.5 hours, if by car, then 45 minutes. There are three-story buildings with private pools. Located away from the main building.
