After the parties agree on the dates, "Two Bananas" sends the Buyer instructions on how to pay for the Services (if payment is not provided upon the fact on the day of the service or the tour);

The Buyer undertakes to confirm the booking by making 100% payment of the cost of services, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties.

1.3. The booking is considered completed at the moment of sending "Two Bananas" booking confirmation by e-mail or other means of communication to the Buyer.

1.4. Before completing the booking, the Buyer must inform about his specific needs and services that may be required due to his physical condition, otherwise “Two Bananas” does not assume any special obligations, responsibility or compensation in connection with these needs of the Buyer.

2. Cost and payment

2.1. Prices on the Site are indicated in dollars and if, by agreement of the Parties, the Buyer makes part of the payment on the day the Services begin in another currency, the cost of the Services will be calculated at the rate of the National Bank of the Dominican Republic for the current date.

3. Rights and obligations of "Two Bananas"

3.1. "Two Bananas" undertakes:

Make these Terms and Conditions available to the Buyer by publishing them on the Site.

Give the Buyer confirmation of the booking of the Services by e-mail or other means of communication after receiving payment for the Services.

Provide the booked and paid Services in accordance with their description presented on the Site.

Inform the Buyer that "Two Bananas" is not responsible for services and products provided by third parties.

3.2. "Two Bananas" has the right:

Change the schedule, itinerary or sequence of visits to attractions due to unforeseen, unavoidable, or similar circumstances.

Stop the provision of the Services if the Buyer makes their provision difficult or impossible by his rude or indecent behavior. If the guides "Two Banana" assess the Buyer's behavior as inappropriate and violating the order at the places of visits, especially in religious and cultural ones, such a Buyer will be denied further provision of the Services without reimbursement of his expenses and compensation for the cost of the Services.

4. Rights and obligations of the Buyer

4.1. The Buyer undertakes:

Agree to the Two Bananas Privacy Policy, booking, payment and cancellation rules as specified in these Terms and Conditions.

4.2. The buyer has the right:

5. Cancellation, change of conditions and termination of the provision of Services

5.1. Cancellation or modification of the Two Banana Services:

5.2. Cancellation of booking and provision of Services by the Buyer:

5.2.1. The buyer has the right to cancel the booked Services. Cancellation is made by sending a message by e-mail or by other means of communication specified in the contacts section. Previously unpaid excursions must be canceled at least two days prior to the tour. If the excursion or service was paid in advance (as required by the internal rules of the company and the contract of cooperation with the contractor "Two Bananas"), a 100% refund is possible with a good reason for canceling the excursion or service, as well as advance (at least 4 days) informing "Two Bananas" ".

5.2.2 If, on the start date of the tour / trip, the Buyer does not appear at the appointed time at the meeting point, then Two Bananas reserves the right to withhold the full cost of the Services.

6. Liability of the Parties and Dispute Resolution

6.1. For all matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the Parties agree to be guided by the legislation of the Dominican Republic.

6.2. Any complaints from the Buyer must be voiced to the heads, guides or managers of "Two Bananas" immediately and must include arguments regarding the discrepancy between the Services described on the website and the Services provided to the Buyer. The Buyer undertakes to cooperate with “Two Bananas” and wait until his substantiated complaint is resolved on the spot, as well as make the proposed solutions to continue the provision of the Services. If the Buyer's complaint cannot be resolved immediately and on the spot, then the Buyer has the right to send it along with documents confirming his correctness by e-mail or other means of communication. The meeting guide Aleksey was not particularly friendly, during the trip from the airport to the hotel (25 minutes) he spoke with some general phrases about the country, currency, local time, local population. When asked if he would help with checking into the hotel (according to information from the Internet, newlyweds are often offered rooms upon presentation of a copy of the marriage certificate increased level), he replied that his job is that he delivers tourists from the airport to the hotel; he needs to move on.

About the airline.

The round-trip flight was operated by AZUR air - a Russian charter airline based in Moscow Domodedovo airport, part of the Anex Tourism Group holding. The plane was about 350 people filled with passengers completely in both directions. The plane itself is not very comfortable - narrow seats, very small distance between the rows, lack of TVs, inoperative radio, etc. The flight attendant team worked great, especially on the way from Moscow. The food, of course, is not for everyone, but at least the portions were enough for everyone. The flight there took a little more than 12 hours, back about 10. In general, there are no complaints about the airline, the flight was on schedule. The flight took place without incident. True, on the way back, one of the passengers managed to smoke in the toilet. The rest of the staff understands English and Spanish. With the help of a translator in the phone or a little knowledge of these languages, it is also quite possible to find understanding with them. In bars, restaurants, on the beach - everyone is very nice and friendly, only the person issuing beach towels was often tired of life, making a displeased face, each time giving or taking towels.

Our room was of the category junior suite: a large room divided into two zones - one - a bed with side tables - from it there is an exit to the balcony with rocking chairs, a hammock and a clothes dryer, the second - a sofa with armchairs, a table with a mirror and a refrigerator with bar (replenished daily - beer, water, carbonated drinks). There was also a TV with a Russian channel broadcast from Germany, an iron with an ironing board, bathroom scales, a coffee maker, mugs, glasses, coffee, sugar, etc. The toilet is equipped with a toilet and a shower. Restaurants and bars.

The hotel had one main restaurant - breakfast, lunch, dinner, one restaurant for breakfast and lunch (during our stay, the renovation was just completed there), four a la carte restaurants for dinner - Spanish, Caribbean, grill, Japanese. In fact, there is nothing to do in these four restaurants - first you stand and wait in line at the entrance, then wait for the waiters, then wait for food, then go to a regular restaurant to finish your meal. In the main restaurant, the choice is quite large, but every day everything is absolutely the same (in other hotels it usually happens, for example, a Chinese day, Spanish, Italian, etc.) Many dishes are prepared right in front of your eyes, you choose a piece of chicken , meat or something else - and it is fried especially for you. That is, in the center of the huge hall, in which there is a ready-made meal, there is a kitchen with chefs - they bake pizza there, cook pasta, and fry omelet and meat, etc. Freshly squeezed juices in the morning. Fruit in the morning and at lunchtime and in the evening. It is hard to stay hungry, although after two weeks the monotony of food is a little tired. There is also a coffee shop on site, which has a fairly large selection of delicious coffee with all kinds of pastries. By the pool, burgers, pizza, fries, hot dogs were cooked. Pancakes were constantly made at the beach bar. If someone wants to, you can eat around the clock. Also on the beach, in addition to the usual bar, there is a bar of freshly squeezed drinks, where cocktails are prepared, both according to the menu and according to the wishes of vacationers, it works from 10 to 17, that is, all the time while people are on the beach. The lobby bar is open from 9 am until late in the evening, there are a lot of armchairs and sofas on which to spend time. The waiters serve well, the watchman worked every evening - she scolded everyone if they did a poor job.

Territory.

The hotel area is very large, one might say that part of the jungle was specially cut down for the hotel. There is a lot of vegetation, huge golf courses with lakes, palms, trees, all kinds of flowers, lawns, etc. Everything is very closely watched, many gardeners work. All plants on the main street of the hotel are signed - there are signs with names nearby. There are also a lot of animals, peacocks, geese, turtles, fish, various birds. For their accommodation there is a small lake with a bridge, as well as a large swimming pool around the main restaurant. In general, there are no neighbors to the right of the hotel at all, to the left is the local fashionable Pearl club, after which there are no more neighbors, except for a small shop with paintings and souvenirs. The territory of the hotel itself is divided into two parts - the main one, where we rested, and the Exclusive zone, where there are villas, a bar, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a huge fountain, a private beach, etc. A neighbor in the form of a club only bothered us once, when they had a grand party with a guest local star, that night we listened to music until five in the morning, although how to say music, the bass was such that our bed in the room even shook a little. The lack of nearby hotels nearby can be called a big plus, on the beach, except for those living in the hotel, there were no crowds of people who just walk along the coast. The closest that can be reached on foot is the dolphinarium, it is literally 25-30 minutes to walk.

The hotel's beach is wonderful. Except that sometimes not everyone has enough sun loungers, and it is strictly forbidden to use loungers in the Privilege and Exclusive zones. The beach is cleaned daily. Often in the morning they turn on a special machine that disperses the algae in the water, forming a funnel for them, so that there are no algae along the coast. Somewhere far from the coast there are natural bumpers, against which all the waves of the ocean break, as a result the water on the beach is calm. There is also an incredible miracle in the ocean - a path of sand, following which

you can find yourself in natural crystal clear lakes. Located on the left side of the beach. It is better to swim to the buoys, because rather sharp corals underfoot (but if you walk very slowly and carefully, you can also walk). And just behind the buoys there is a path of white sand, to the right and left of which there are islands of sand and algae. Further on the right and left are small lakes, further a little deeper. Feelings are incredible. It seems like you are in the middle of the ocean, but at the same time you are on your feet. Behind you is a beach with people, and in front - endless expanses. Also, bathing was very pleased with the abundance of various fish of all kinds of shapes and colors. The swimming goggles I took and my Go Pro camera came in very handy. The fish can be seen even with the naked eye, standing motionless in the water. We were lucky with the weather, and in two weeks the water in the ocean was cloudy for only two days because of the strong wind, the rest of the time you could calmly look at the bottom.

From morning to evening, photographers work throughout the hotel who take pictures of everyone, and later in the salon they offer to choose and purchase a photo you like.

In general, rest in this hotel we were very satisfied. Surprisingly, there were a lot of compatriots, 60 percent of all vacationers. The clean ocean left the best impression. But we will not come to this hotel for the second time. Next time we plan to visit the Caribbean coast.

The hotel territory is built up with pretty low-rise cottages. During the hot season, it is quite crowded here - more than 700 rooms are provided. The staff willingly listens to the wishes of the guests, provides rooms in the villa that will appeal the most, of course, subject to the availability of rooms. The number of rooms is not uniform: some have been renovated, others are in the queue for renewal. Everywhere there are spacious balconies and terraces, in some places, apart from the usual tables with armchairs, there is a cozy hammock. The premises themselves are also of decent size, with large beds and pull-out sofas. The equipment of the bathrooms pleases: a luxurious round Jacuzzi bath is complemented by a shower. There are enough detergents, there are shampoos, soap, shower gel on the dressing table, but their quality leaves much to be desired.

The floor is covered with tiles, while there is not a single rug in the premises, and slippers are not given out. Seasoned travelers are advised to grab them from home, especially when it comes to children.

The use of the safe is provided in an unusual way. If there is a need for it, you need to contact the reception, where they will offer to conclude an additional agreement. There is a coffee maker, and it comes with a fragrant drink in powder and a separate water for coffee.

At the expense of cleaning, reviews of tourists are not unambiguous. There are no complaints about cleanliness, as well as about beauty - the maids practice the skill of creating figures from towels, decorate beds with fresh flowers, but the bed linen may never be changed.

Food

Gourmets from a trip to the Dominican Republic in 2020 will get real pleasure thanks to the excellent cuisine. Perhaps someone will discover new dishes or try the gifts of nature for the first time in this sunny country. So, exotic fruits are presented - passionfruit, papaya and starfruit. The chefs bake Mexican corn tortillas and serve fried bananas.

Mainly European and Dominican cuisine is presented. For breakfast, a variety of juices, you can ask to mix any fruit. Luxurious cuts of meat and sausages, vegetables, pancakes, omelet or scrambled eggs on request. In addition, there are always hot dishes and desserts.

Yoghurts and milk porridge are a must in the morning buffet. The assortment includes ice cream.

An even richer selection of dishes awaits for lunch and dinner. There are two soups on the menu, lamb, pork and goat meat are excellent cooks, chicken and turkey lovers are also pleased. Unfortunately, there are not many fish and seafood: tuna, mackerel, gilthead dorada, mussels, squids, sometimes shrimps appear.

Those who do not like to sit still and prefer to get acquainted with new corners of the resort are helped out by the snack bar, which looks more like a traditional pizzeria. It works around the clock, at any time of the day or night, it is ready to satisfyingly feed a variety of pizza, the menu also has more "serious" food, for example, grilled ribs.

Alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails await in the lobby and evening bar. In the latter, a pleasant atmosphere is created by the neighborhood with an artificial pond. They pour in sambuca, rum, whiskey, tequila, in the wine list there is a place for branded alcohol, they will not require payment for it either - within the framework of the all-inclusive concept.

The hotel has several themed à la carte restaurants. Each can be visited free of charge once for the entire vacation.

Staff

The staff is a dignified face of Catalonia Bavaro. Employees are always friendly, give sincere smiles, polite and attentive. For this, the guests forgive them the excessive slowness inherent in all Dominicans. For example, you can wait a couple of hours for luggage to your room.

Most speak Spanish, English is very weak here. But in different places of the resort there is a Russian-speaking staff - a couple work in a restaurant, there are such people in some shifts at the reception. They will help solve the problems that have arisen, answer questions and introduce you to the infrastructure of the territory. Russian tourists are ready to give the hotel an additional star for understanding.

Entertainment and animation

The territory is huge and of exceptional beauty, stretching all the way to the ocean, which is no less than half a kilometer. Ideas for photo and video sessions will come in handy here like nowhere else. Among the riot of tropical vegetation, there are artificial reservoirs where fish live, around many species of birds, from flamingos to hummingbirds, they are accompanied by turtles and iguanas in a separate aviary. Everyone is allowed to feed and even given food in a specially designated area. The luxurious pool is designed as a lake with islets.

There is a nine-hole golf course nearby, the first lesson with an instructor is a gift. There is a court for tennis fans, which is illuminated at night. In general, for sports fans there is complete freedom here: a fitness room, paddle tennis courts, a volleyball court. And the SPA center invites you to the sauna and massage.

The animation is set at a high level, tourists do not get bored from early morning, however, it is held in Spanish and French. But games and activities are clear without words. The day begins with aqua aerobics in the pool, continues with all kinds of competitions, the final chord puts an evening show on the stage of the amphitheater or on the beach. The animation program is supported by a casino and a night disco. Every other day, local vocalists delight visitors to the bar, performing modern hits and songs with Latin American motives to the sound of live music. Plus, you can rent a car right in the complex and explore the surroundings on your own.

For children, the list of entertainment is not so rich, but still the kids will not be bored. In the arsenal there is a shallow pool and a mini-club, where children are engaged in creativity, drawing, dancing.

Beach

The spacious beach is the gem of the hotel. White soft sand and transparent, unthinkable azure shades of the ocean do not leave indifferent even the most inveterate pragmatists. The swimming sector is strictly limited by buoys, so long-distance swimmers will have to look for other places, for example, on the nearby wild beaches.

But a lot of impressions await snorkeling fans, one mask is enough to see the rich underwater world: there are small fish, large stingrays and bright starfish, and all this is practically near the coast. You can also go scuba diving, the first lesson is free. There is a huge selection of water sports, kayaks, sailboats, catamarans and kayaks are available for rent.

The beach is strewn with many sun loungers, there are always free ones.

But to hide under the shadow of an umbrella - this is no longer an easy task, it is solved exclusively by "early birds", accustomed to get up at dawn and go swimming. They occupy the most attractive places on the shore even before breakfast. However, the abundance of palm trees successfully copes with the role of umbrellas.

The ocean is almost always calm thanks to the coral reef just offshore. Quiet calm, pleasant sand at the bottom and shallow water - feel free to come here with small children.

Location and surroundings

Location is another definite plus of the hotel. It takes only half an hour to get from Punta Cana airport. Around, and in the territory, there are excellent conditions for mini-shopping. In the main building there is a shop with the most necessary products, once a week merchants come and arrange a noisy evening bazaar with souvenirs and clothes. You can also buy gifts for your family next to the Catalonia Bavaro - a “shop lane” begins at the entrance, but prices are too high here. There is an ice cream shop nearby. If you want to save money, you have to walk half a kilometer along the ocean to the right, where shops are also scattered, they will definitely contain original gifts. And if you walk to the left along the coast, you can come across an amazing art gallery, the creations of local artists are on sale. The nearest major shopping center is San Juan, a 15-minute drive away, and a free shuttle service is provided by the property. There are absolutely no pharmacies nearby, stock up on medicines at home.
