Artifact cop on the beach (unpleasant incident). Artifact cop on the beach (bad incident) Beach cop with a sniper

This year, unexpectedly, suddenly brought me to rest in the Odessa region, namely in the urban-type settlement Zatoka. Got there in the beginning velvet season... Why during this period I go to the sea, what I dug and how many gold seekers I saw there, read about all this below.

In 2017, the entire Black Sea coast in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions was packed with vacationers. The famous "Odessa highway" (E95) was overflowing with cars with numbers BL, MD, less often with RU. Every time we went out on a hunt and our path ran along this transport artery, a large number of cars from neighboring countries was simply surprising. So there could be no question of any vacation by the sea in the season (end of May - August) - I do not like crowds, and the prices are much higher. Definitely: if you are resting in the south, then only in September!

For the future: first week of September, it's still the season! All cafes and attractions are working, parking lots are packed, the beach is full of people, prices bite. But already in the second week, there are noticeably fewer people, as well as entertainment.

Searching with a metal detector on the beach in 2017

Which metal detector should I go to the sea with? After thinking a little about this question, I settled on with a standard coil (too large). Why this MD? Guided solely by one motive: salty sand. Grains of sand, especially sea grains, are such an infection that will creep into any gap, and humid air will corrode any metal. Fischer 44 is designed in such a way that it is not afraid of moisture, sand or dust - even if it is buried in the sand, and the device, as it worked, will continue to work even after several years.

Exclusively out of laziness, I only went to the cop twice. It is very difficult for me to get up at half past six in the morning, when I lay down (not always sober) in the middle of the night. 🙂

Utrechko. The calm sea and the almost empty beach are grace. What else does a digger need?

On the first day, a guy from our company went with me, because he wanted to see the cop. To keep him from getting bored, he handed him a spatula.

And so we walk on the sand, which is saturated with salt, and slowly dig. There is practically no garbage for some reason. It turns out that every day a special car drives along the beach and removes the trash. I wonder how many interesting things she takes out of the sand?

With my luck, there is little I can find, but when I'm not alone, then there is a chance. And after 30 minutes of collecting small things, a pendant in the form of an elephant appeared from the sand, and a chain was lying about 40 centimeters away. All the silver is my lucky partner. 😀

After walking a little, we met a local digger from. I chatted with him for about 20 minutes - I learned a few secrets of the beach cop, about them a little lower.

The beginning of the 9th, people are slowly crawling to the sea - we must leave.

Serebrishko is a pleasant find. But even despite this, the boy will no longer go with me - the instrument search did not conquer him.

The second time I went myself. Of my finds, only coins. It's not even surprising ...

Here is the result of my searches, in total for 4 - 4.5 hours.

The result is good or not, I don't know. Anyone who walks with a metal detector on the beach, let him write in the comments what my beach cop is like.

Metal detector on the sea beach.

As you know, AKA metal detectors do not work on salty sand. Phantoms, glitches, beleberd on the display do not allow these devices to even see the coin from above. Why can she even work there, but the powerful AKA by no means? Therefore, it is reasonable that I was interested in how Fisher F44 will feel on the sea beach and in the coastal zone. Here in the blog I was told that there would be no problems, but I would like to see for myself.

Yes, neither Fischer nor Detechnix were buggy in the sand. Even more, their detection depth did not drop and was the same as at home. found a pin at a depth equal to the length of the XPointer (about 20cm).

cop coins

In the coastal area there is a phantom on the water. Smell reduction cures this problem, but I didn't, since I didn't look there. After all, to rummage in the water, you need a scuba. I didn't have this with me, so I focused on the dry sand.

In custody.

I love beach search. If it were not for my laziness, I would have dug out more interesting things, and so my result in two short trips: a silver chain with a pendant and 20 hryvnia 44 kopecks in change.

On the beach I saw only asevodov (with a samopal does not count). I am sure that with mine I would have collected interesting things for them. 😉

At the base in which they stayed, at the end of our holiday, there were almost half the number of tourists. But for some reason the number of those on the beach did not decrease. It looks like we are not the only ones who are so "smart": lovers of relaxation in the velvet season.

Over the past two years, since the time Crimea passed to the Russian Federation, a lot has changed, but the treasure hunters have remained, and their ranks have even grown. Someone moved to places with a warmer climate, others ended up here for some other reason.

In general, treasure hunting has always flourished on the territory of the Crimea, long before the appearance of metal detectors familiar to us now. The history of the peninsula is rich and multifaceted. A lot of people come here to have a rest not empty-handed, but with their faithful companion - a metal detector!

In Crimea, you can usefully rest not only on the beaches, but also in the dense forests and in open fields. Most vacationers, of course, come to the sea to bask on the beach and swim. But not all lie "belly up" and bask in the sun.

The morning jog began at 5 am, along the beach along the embankment of the city of Sudak. I was passing through this beautiful place, and, waking up very early, decided to take a walk in the morning city. On the beach, I counted three search engines. When the road brought me to the village of Novy Svet, I saw two more, and again in the early morning.

Near the village of Novy Svet

Passing the village of Morskoe, we stopped at their beautiful beach, a long braid with pebbles. Vacationers there was just darkness, darkness, not overcrowded. We stopped for the night, and early in the morning, crawling out of the tent, I noticed a tourist with an underwater instrument. And then, I thought, really there are so many search engines - in 2 days I have already seen six! And obviously a couple of them were not local.

The question inherent in most of those who want to engage in this wonderful hobby is the same: "There are a lot of search engines, and in general, will I find anything or will I waste my time?" Spend time? If you want to do this sport - yes, yes, it is sports, then you definitely should not be lazy. You have to walk a lot. And bend over too.

Let me tell you this. Do you love to move and discover something new? If the answer is yes, then you will surely enjoy instrumental search.

Many people ask the question: “Why do you need a beach search? It's boring, collecting garbage alone, but a "walker"! Not interested.

As a rule, this is said by people who have not really tried this type of search or because, for example, there are no beaches nearby. From my own experience, I will say that it is as interesting as walking in the forest or in the fields "in the old days." Yes, there are no old fortresses or old villages. Yes, you even have to get a special bag, in a separate pocket of which you will put bottle caps, aluminum straps from cans, cigarette foil, aluminum cans. In short, both stunning things and sewing needles and strange leaden stones. In general, there will indeed be a lot of garbage.

Beach near the village of Popovka

It is better to go out early in the morning, after dark, because then it is incredibly hot and there are many vacationers around

On the beaches, it is not so rare to come across interesting jewelry, including gold, or coins brought by tourists. For me personally, it was surprising to find a silver commemorative coin that somehow flew from a distant country in the United States to the Sevastopol beach, located not far from my home.

As I told in the last article, my "beach friend" found an admiral's watch, which, after lying in salt water for a long time, continued to show the local time.

In the morning, if you're lucky, you can collect yourself for gasoline, or milk and a bun for breakfast. According to the stories of local search engines, during the summer season (from June to October), you can do a good job of collecting little things.

The territory of Crimea has been a part of Ukraine for a long time, and, of course, the "Ukrainian walker" still comes across, even in the forests and fields. Oddly enough, but you can also benefit from such finds - collect a certain amount and turn it over to the bank. They will definitely not refuse to accept it.

When a person becomes interested in instrumental search, he often does not know where to start. I suggest working out on the beach. If you go to a sandy beach, everything is much easier there, you can work either with a scuba, or with a shovel, or even a scoop in general - the search will be simple.

But without a pinpointer, I will say, it is sometimes inconvenient. Because finding a small earring or other small target in the sand is sometimes a little problematic. In this matter, the pinpointer will be a good helper for you.

There are also many pebble beaches. There, in my opinion, the scub will be out of place. It is much more convenient with a shovel and a shovel, and, of course, you can't do without a pinpoiter either.

Cossack Bay near the city of Sevastopol

There are a lot of so-called "wild beaches" on the territory of Crimea. There, unfortunately, it will not work to lie down comfortably, and it will be difficult to walk along the beach. Huge stones, sometimes just a stone on a stone, and the bottom, does not dispose to a calm rest on the water. But these beaches are often visited by both locals and tourists. Here you can safely snorkel or go diving, fish or crab hunting. So people lose coins, jewelry or other things. But this happens more often in water.

Therefore, it is best to search with an underwater metal detector. In addition, for underwater search at a depth of up to 3 meters, you will need: comfortable shoes, a mask with a snorkel, a bag for finds. You can make the bag yourself or buy it in the store. There is nothing to say about an underwater metal detector, in my opinion, only in MDRegion stores you can buy a decent device of proper quality.

About metal detectors

For example, White "s offers a choice of two" divers ": Whites BeachHunter ID 300 or White "s MXSport ... With BeachHunter you can safely dive under water up to 7.5 meters, and with MXSport - up to 3 meters, you can also walk along the beach with it, and in general Sport is suitable for any type of search.

Minelab also has plenty to choose from: the famous amphibious instrument CTX 3030 , you will be able with it not only to find treasures in the forest, but also to conduct an underwater treasure hunt at depths of up to 3 meters. An old acquaintance, a great friend of all underwater search lovers, this is a metal detector Excalibur II , which allows immersion under water up to 60 meters, it feels great in salt water. Easy to use, it is considered the best in its business.

And, finally, my favorite company Tesoro. Excellent, convenient and most importantly easy to use devices, no frills. I call them “humble search engines”. The company also produces underwater metal detectors. For example, Tesoro tiger shark ... I think it is an excellent instrument, simply excellent. Diving up to 60 meters, in terms of search capabilities, is not inferior to almost anyone. And the price is very reasonable.

Actually, my case is usual. As I remember now, it was autumn in the yard, the swimming season is already closed, there are no people on the lake, and I decided to get out to one famous beach in order to wave a metal detector. As they say, a lot of people visit this beach during the season, and if nothing is valuable, then you can always get hold of a modern walker, train your ear for signals, and just enjoy the process.

Cop with a metal detector on the beach

I arrived early, at about 8 am. Unhurriedly decomposed, and a little later, began to dig. As expected, everything rang. As luck would have it, I didn’t have a sniper with me, so I dug with a standard coil, and even taking into account the fact that the standard sensor is small, but even then the garbage slowly began to infuriate me. But, I knew what I was doing, so I dug every interesting signal.

The ratio of a useful swag to a shmurdyak was approximately the following: for 1 normal find (modern walker, buttons, and so on) there were about a dozen (or even more) dug (and then buried) holes, where there was a well-known foil and tongues from cans ... Here, as they say, everyone decides for himself whether to dig such a signal or not. I have already drew attention to this point: a shmurdyachy signal can be cut off by discrimination, but so inadvertently something useful can be missed. Therefore, I use all metals, although on trash cans, if there is an opportunity and confidence in the settings, it is better to detach from the garbage a little.

So, I took ordinary cotton gloves with me, and since closer to 11 o'clock the sun came out, and the gloves themselves were already wet, in the end I took them off and decided to dig without them. The technique is simple: I look for a signal, dig it out, and then pinpoint the find. Fortunately, it is convenient to dig in the sand, and you don't get very tired. And no, to adhere to this tactic, so no, when fatigue began to affect, I increasingly began to scoop the sand out of the hole with my hand.

It happened like this: the metal detector shows a signal, I dig it, sit down on my knees, put the shovel aside. And then, I start looking for a signal with my hands and a pin. And if the signal is still in the hole, I try to dig it out with my hands. In this way, I successfully dug 5 rubles, 2 kopecks of advice, and a ton of shmurdyak. At the next signal, when I was about to go home, I repeated my actions.

And at the next sweeping shoveling of sand from the hole, I almost yelled at the whole reservoir ... It turned out that I found a fishing tee, which successfully entered the finger. This is kapets ... Earlier on a fishing trip, this happened to me, but here my hands are dirty, everything is in the sand and in the ground, and even a tee. Well at least the hook went into the finger with only one sting. The cop immediately stopped quickly, there was blood, but not very much.

Fortunately, the backpack always has a multitool with wire cutters. As a result, clenching his teeth, he pushed the hook further so that it would come out (I don’t know if I did it right or not, I’m not an advisor here, I’m just describing my experience), and then I bit off a sting with a beard with pliers. I pulled out the second part of the hook, it went easier, although it hurt. But my "joint" is not even that I shoveled the sand with my hands. The fact is that I did not take any peroxide or other disinfectant with me, although many comrades write about this.

I quickly collected everything and went home. The road took about 2 hours, but apparently this time someone decided to just teach me a lesson - no suppuration, no inflammation, as they say, carried.

Now going on , I always have a full first aid kit in my backpack. Search, as they say, is a search, but you should never forget about your health and safety.

Well, that is not particularly written by the people, let's try to revive the topic a little!

I will write here a couple of stories that I personally had.

In my opinion, a cop is a rest (I cannot call this process earning). But still rest, which requires immersion in the process)
I always find the most finds if I go to the detecting EARLY - in the summer, usually at five, six o'clock in the morning I get up - with me a bottle of water, an apparatus, a shovel. And that's all. You don't need any phones or anything else. The beaches are empty, the water is pleasantly chill, the sun has not yet risen high.
And here is one of these days, walking along the beach. Someone is watching me closely from the tent-tent. Then I saw a man coming out, coming to me - it turned out - the owner of the beach. We even have this, it turns out)

We talked, became very interested in my actions, began to walk with me, see what finds. We went with him - only coins come across, we have accumulated 50 rubles already) Well, the beach garbage. He thought that now everything will be, gold at once. We walked around with him for about 40 minutes, he fell behind. I go on wandering. And just decided to walk under the net - once, the device sang nicely, I spread the sand neatly - something glittered - I bent over, I look more closely - here it is, the golden cross!) The owner is already trotting towards me - they say - what did he find? And I myself can’t believe it! On the machine I say - nothing ordinary (just in case, I say, otherwise the people are different - when I dig in the field, and when on the beach). The cross is already in the pocket of the shorts. I wandered a little more - but there was nothing else under the net. On that and going home. The pontoon bridge has passed, I look behind it, the car drives up to me (and I just with the device and the shovel) - the driver asks what is "caught"? I showed him a cross. He already got out of the car) I asked, everything, how many such finds that I find, and how much gold from the beach) I can see! So maybe he has already joined our ranks, or maybe he was just glad for my find)

The second story is about another beach. He is five hundred meters from the first. Also earlier in the morning, I greeted the fishermen, who had gathered for the morning nibble, moved away from them, decided to explore the beach volleyball court, it is a little further from the coast. But big. I walk - there is nothing at all. Empty - either someone passed before me, or there was nothing. Well, I think nothing. I collected a little - a signal for silver - at first it was a cracked ring, a church one. Chud further - a cross, also silver. I decided to take a closer look at the boundaries of the volleyball field. And what? The finds included the USSR, the GKChP coins (how many lay there!), And our trifle. But there were no more precious metals that day)
Slowly the sun began to rise, it got hot, and I was going home.

These are the stories about a small summer cop on the beach)
