It followed from this that it was urgent to start bomb Afghanistan and invade Iraq.

In the fall of 2002, a special commission was created under the loud name "National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States". It was chaired by the former Governor of New Jersey Thomas Keen(Thomas Keane). The commission included former employees of the CIA, the FBI, the Department of Justice and other government agencies. The official report of the Keane Commission provides a diagram of the alleged movement of Flight 175, which crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center, according to which the plane overcame the final straight section from the city of Trenton to New York in four minutes.

That is, the official investigation invites everyone to believe that it is impossible purely physical. So, another lie of the official investigation.

"Twins" could not collapse on their own

According to the official report, the 100-story skyscraper WTC-1 completely collapsed 1 hour 42 minutes after the plane hit, and its twin WTC-2 - 56 minutes later. The reason, of course, is indicated as follows - the impact and the subsequent fire that occurred after the Boeings hit the buildings.

But here some more surprising facts appear.

It turns out that the Twins were designed in such a way that, in addition to the wind load, they could withstand the frontal impact of the Boeing 707, the largest passenger airliner in those years. Early 1970s Leslie Robertson, who built the buildings, calculated the effect of the collision of the Boeing 707 with the WTC tower. He reported the results to the New York Times, arguing that the towers would withstand the impact of an airliner flying at a speed of 960 km / h, that is, having taken the impact of the liner, the skyscraper would remain standing without undergoing serious structural damage. In other words, the central frame and the remaining standing perimeter will withstand the additional load resulting from the absence of the demolished part of the supporting structures. It was with such a margin of safety that the "twins" were built.

Frank DeMartini(Frank DeMartini), one of the project managers for the construction of the World Trade Center, confirms this idea: the building is designed in such a way as to withstand the impact of a Boeing 707 with maximum takeoff weight. It was the largest aircraft of that time. I'm sure the building would have withstood even a few hits from planes, because its structure resembled a fine mosquito net, and the plane is like a pencil that pierces this net and does not affect the structure of the rest of it.

In the mid-1990s, two British firms - British Steel and Building Research Establishment - conducted a series of experiments in the city of Cardington to determine the effect of fires on steel-framed structures. On the experimental model of an eight-story building, the steel structures did not have fire protection. Despite the fact that the temperature of the steel beams reached 900 °C (!) with a critically permissible maximum of 600 °C, in none of the six experiments did failure occur, although certain deformations did occur.

But the load-bearing structures survived completely, and secondary structures and several floors between floors received only minor damage. The building survived.

The official report claims that the WTC-7 "collapsed" due to the weakening of the supporting structures, despite the fact that no aircraft hit it.

As it turned out, very few knew about the demolition of building No. 7 of the World Trade Center. Its destruction somehow passed unnoticed against the background of the rest of the events of that day. In this 47-story skyscraper, which also bore the name Salomon Brothers(Salomon Brothers), housed the offices of the FBI, the Department of Defense, the 1RS tax office (according to the Online Journal, with a huge amount of compromising evidence, including the infamous Enron), US counterintelligence, the stock exchange (with evidence of stock fraud), as well as various financial institutions. Its collapse occurred at approximately 17:20 New York time, and several rather curious incidents are associated with it at once.

FEMA claims this building has collapsed for the same reasons as the "twins" - due to the weakening of the supporting structures. But why? The plane did not hit him. Fires did not rage in it - only in three places there were small local fires: on the seventh, twelfth and twenty-ninth floors. If we recall the scheme of the entire World Trade Center, then building No. 7 is the most remote from the "epicenter", separated from the main complex by a street. Where is his injury from? The report is silent on this.

Strange destruction

Probably, not everyone knows that during the attack on New York, three buildings of the World Trade Center (WTC) collapsed. In addition to the well-known twin towers No. 1 and No. 2, there was also a skyscraper No. 7. The government commission set up to investigate the events of September 11 preferred to keep silent about this fact. House number 7 is a 47-story high-rise, noticeably inferior to its twin brothers in growth.

In particular, it housed the New York branch of the CIA headquarters. This building avoided being hit by an aircraft, but by 5 pm it collapsed in the same way as the twin towers.

According to authorities, the cause of the collapse of the building was burning fragments that fell on it from collapsing skyscrapers, as well as the ensuing fire. According to the official conclusions, hundreds of thousands of tons of steel structures melted in a monstrous fire, and hundreds of tons of concrete were erased into dust.

According to the commission, the document miraculously survived a powerful explosion, fell out of the plane and landed safely near the building.

The US government was in such a hurry to come to the right conclusion that it was not even going to pay attention to such incidents. Further more.

The Commission of Inquiry announced the identification of some of the passengers and crew members of the aircraft by the "remains of DNA." And this is after the fire actually completely destroyed the body of the liner, made of aircraft-grade aluminum resistant to high temperatures.

The third hijacked Boeing, flying American Airlines Flight 77, crashed into the Pentagon, according to official figures. Based on this, the final kilometers of the flight of the liner had to pass at a height of only a few meters above the ground, which is an almost impossible task for pilots who have just completed express courses.

Moreover, such a maneuver was absolutely unjustified, since, according to many experts, it would not lead to such damage as when falling at an angle. It turns out that the terrorists, who carefully planned the attack, chose a more complicated and less effective path.

However, the main incident is ahead. Independent researchers who studied photographs of the disaster were alerted by the fact that the Boeing did not leave traces of the wings when it hit the building. Their fragments were not found nearby either. Moreover, even inside the destroyed section of the building there were no hints of aircraft fragments. The official version says that the passengers, having contacted their relatives by mobile phones, learned that two planes had already crashed into buildings in Manhattan and decided to prevent the hijackers' plans. It was as a result of the struggle ensued on board that the plane went off course and went into a steep dive. However, experts say that the ability to use cellular communications in flight has appeared only since 2005.

Everything in this story is alarming, including the behavior of top American officials. For example, President George W. Bush for a long time ignored the invitation to speak before Congress, but when he agreed to a meeting, he set conditions that seemed incomprehensible at first glance. In their opinion, the attack in Manhattan was planned by the US authorities to later explain the military intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as to explain several laws that, among other things, allow intelligence agencies to have access to the private lives of Americans.

But this theory is questionable due to certain difficulties. Boeing's remote control technology, which could guide aircraft, does exist, but it is extremely difficult to do so. It would require airline staff to coordinate and four remote control teams (one for each hijacked aircraft). And this is already a lot of people who would be privy to the government's plan.

World Trade Center rental

At the end of June 2001, entrepreneur Larry Silverstein rented (one might say bought) the WTC twin towers for 99 years for $3.2 billion. On the day of the tragedy, he was in one of the towers. However, Silverstein's wife called him to remind him of the appointment with a dermatologist. So, he walked out of the World Trade Center and saved his life.

US President George W. Bush said that the terrorists staged an attack on the twin towers because of their hatred of freedom and democracy. It wasn't until 2015 that images emerged from the emergency control center in Washington, D.C., after a couple of hours of the attack. The photographs show the US leader, US Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice and senior staff. 99 days of fire

The fire at the site of the ruins of the World Trade Center lasted 99 days, and the work to clean up the area took 261 days. All this time, tens of thousands of people were engaged in garbage disposal, of which 18 tons were collected. The steel structures of the building, taken to a landfill, were later sold to China and India. The Chinese firm Baosteel bought 50,000 tons of steel at $120 per ton.

The youngest victim of the attack

Christine Hanson, who was flying with her parents to Disneyland, died in a terrorist attack. The girl was two years old. In total, three children under the age of five died as a result of the tragedy. More than three thousand children on September 11 were left without one or two parents. During this period, a record number of psychologists worked with children.

American depression

70% of Americans fell into depression after the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. More than 33,000 New Yorkers have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which is usually given to people who come from hot spots. In addition, alcohol consumption in Manhattan increased by a quarter, while tobacco and marijuana consumption increased by 10%.

Barack Obama and the elimination of Osama bin Laden

The identities of all the terrorists who carried out the attack have been established. It turned out that they were legally in America, and many of them were trained in US flight schools. Later, in a video message, al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden admitted that it was he who oversaw the work of 19 terrorists on four planes. 10 years after the bloody terrorist attack, US intelligence agencies eliminated Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. This was watched live by the then US President Barack Obama along with his team.

In 2011, a World Trade Center memorial appeared on the site of the destroyed Twin Towers in New York. In New York City in 2018, 9/11 survivors and relatives of the victims will come to the Ground Zero site. Two beams of light will be projected into the sky in memory of the dead. Having received no support in Congress, the head of state in early March 2011 ordered the resumption of military trials against suspected terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay prison.

In early April 2011, US Attorney General Eric Holder confirmed that defendant Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other defendants in the 9/11 case would not appear before a US civilian court, but before a special military commission at Guantanamo Bay.

On May 31, 2011, the US Military Attorney's Office again charged five suspects, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, with involvement in the September 11, 2001 attacks.

On May 5, 2012, a military tribunal formally charged five suspects with involvement in organizing the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in the United States. They are accused of organizing a conspiracy, attacking civilians, intentionally causing physical harm, murder, violating the laws of war, causing destruction, hijacking and terrorism.

All five defendants refused to answer whether they plead guilty.

New York District Judge George Daniels ruled in absentia, ordering Iran to pay $7.5 billion to the families and other members of those who died at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The judge determined that the Iranian authorities must pay another three billion to insurers who covered property damage and other material losses. Earlier, Judge Daniels ruled that Tehran was unable to prove its non-involvement in assisting the organizers of the attack, and therefore the Iranian authorities bear a share of responsibility for the damage caused during it.

On the site of the destroyed Twin Towers in New York on September 11, 2011 was the World Trade Center Memorial. It consists of two square pools-fountains, located right at the bases of the former twin towers, along the inner walls of which water streams cascade down, leaving into square holes located at the bottom of each of the pools.

The names of the 2,983 victims of the attacks (including the six who died in the 1993 World Trade Center attack) are carved on the bronze slabs that line the parapets of both fountains.

The new World Trade Center complex was opened. It is the fourth tallest skyscraper in the world - its height is 541 meters. Construction began in April 2006 on the corner of a 65,000-square-meter site where the twin towers of the demolished mall used to stand.

Celebrated in the United States as Patriot Day, since 2009, after the approval of Act 111-13 of the General Law of the United States, this date is also referred to as the nationwide Day of Service and Remembrance.
