What to see in Sharjah. A good rest for body and soul: we go on a tour of luxurious Sharjah. May be interesting

AND . This emirate is rightfully considered the cultural capital of the Arab world. There are many historical and religious attractions collected there. In addition, only in this emirate there is a prohibition law, so in terms of entertainment there you will not be surprised, but they will offer exciting excursions and many interesting places.

Excursions in Sharjah

There is a lot to see in Sharjah and you can always have a fun time. The first thing you should do is take a sightseeing tour of the emirate. This is the place with the strictest laws and a large number of mosques and museums. You will be shown the most beautiful squares and interesting bazaars. In addition, you will be invited to visit the famous zoo, and children will have fun on the playground while parents relax in the cafe.

If you love boat trips, then an excursion to the Emirate of Fujairah along the Indian Ocean coast will appeal to you. You will see a beautiful underwater kingdom with its coral thickets, exotic fish and incredible size turtles.

Family leisure can be diversified with excursions from Sharjah to water parks or fishing in the open sea. For extreme sports enthusiasts, a desert safari is suitable. And those who love comfort and relaxing treatments should visit the Moroccan baths.

UAE Sharjah - attractions

The first thing you will be offered to visit is the museums of Sharjah. In the Archaeological Museum you can look at the life of ancient people, which is told not only by exhibits, but also by videos.

At the Natural History Museum you will learn about the history of the Earth. The way the material is presented using high technology does its job and all visitors are left deeply impressed. In addition, the local cafe is famous for its cakes, which you can try after the tour.

Among the attractions of Sharjah there is also, the only one in the Emirates, the Science Museum. Its design is at a high level, everything is done sensibly and with a sense of style. As for the exhibition itself, it is incredibly interesting due to the use of interactive images. You will be able to “touch” all the basic concepts of science and visit the planetarium.

The Sharjah Gold Souk has a reputation for being the place to buy almost anything. It was opened in 1995 and is not only home to an incredible amount of jewelry, but also of architectural value. Rare types of granite and marble were used for its decoration. Everything inside is completely safe, as modern technologies are used. The market itself consists of 44 stores where you can buy really high-quality products, many of them quite original.

If you're looking for great things to see in Sharjah, head to Al Majaz Waterfront. Among the singing fountains around the world, Sharjah is the third tallest. It rises 100 meters and its total width is approximately 220 meters. Around seven o'clock in the evening a grandiose sound and light show begins. The spectacle is truly colorful and unforgettable.

Although prohibition and strict morals make this emirate not the best place for young people to relax, a honeymoon in the lagoon will be unforgettable. It is surrounded by a huge embankment and a place for morning jogging for residents and tourists. This is a relatively quiet and very picturesque place, so it’s better to retire with your loved one here. One of the mosques of which there are several in Sharjah is located there. The Al Noor Mosque is considered one of the most important attractions of Sharjah. This is not only the most famous, but also the most beautiful place in the emirate. The mosque is located next to Khalid Lagoon. It was ordered to be built by the ruler's wife in memory of Sheikh Mohammed. This is the first mosque that non-Muslims were allowed to visit.

In short, Sharjah for me is a kind of anti-Dubai, without alcohol, revealing clothes and hookah cafes. But that's not the main thing. Finding what to see and where to go in Sharjah on your own will not be difficult. Today I will tell you about those interesting sights of this town that impressed me and revealed the incredible beauty of the third largest emirate.

Sights of the city of Sharjah in the UAE – where to go and what to see first

Sharjah rightfully bears the status of the cultural capital of the country. Unique museums, galleries and theaters give it special popularity, not to mention the modern architecture and the traditional oriental souq market, where you can spend hours wandering from stall to stall in search of an original souvenir. This emirate borders Dubai, but life and hotels here are much cheaper. I really fell in love with Sharjah and its attractions, and I will introduce you to the most interesting of them.

City architecture

Sharjah looks very attractive, in my opinion, due to its modern architecture. In this city, popular among tourists from all over the world, one of the most beautiful high-rise buildings stands out - a building located on the shore of the Khalid Lagoon. It is a real decoration of the city landscape thanks to its balconies with an unusual round shape. The high-rise complex combines a residential complex with an entertainment complex, including the famous Grand Buhairah cinema.

Sharjah Al Khish Fort

Among the many modern buildings, I found it in the city center Sharjah Al Khish Fort, which stands out for its ancient architecture. The construction of the two-story fortification was based on stones, corals and adobe. In 1820, the then ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al-Kazimi erected the original structure, but the fortification was partially dismantled in the early 1970s. Only a single tower testifies to its former greatness, which gave the name to the square on which the Al-Burj fort is located, which means “tower” in Arabic.

What makes the city especially popular is Sharjah Al Markazi Blue Market, which was also called the Central Market and the Gold Market. I was very struck by this building: the main part of the building is really painted yellowish and in the rays of the sun it looks as if it were covered with gold. The round mosaics on both sides of the central entrance, made in the traditional Islamic blue color, added their own zest to the building’s façade. The two wings of the market are connected by pedestrian bridges. One part of the building will delight you with antiques, carpets, gifts and electronics, the other with gold, precious stones and jewelry. And all this in 600 stores.

Did you know? The Blue Market in Sharjah has become popular because tourists like to take photos near this attraction the most.

The following buildings were no less attractive for their architecture:

  • Sharjah Government Building and Palace of Culture in the central Cultural Square;
  • Al Durrah building in the Khalida Lagoon area;
  • National Bank Building with blue mirror walls;
  • Palace of the educational complex "City of Universities" close to the International Airport.

City monuments

Stele of the unification of the emirates

One of the original monuments that I came across in Sharjah is Stele of the unification of the emirates, established in honor of the unification of all emirates. The tall obelisk is decorated with seven slightly opened oysters with pearls inside, each representing one of the emirates. The top of the obelisk is decorated with the main golden pearl, symbolizing the unification of the Emirates. In addition to this monument, the open area has fountains, flower beds and benches for relaxation.

Monument to the Koran

The fact that Sharjah is the center of Islamic culture in the UAE helped me understand 7-meter monument to the Koran. It is presented in the form of an open book with several pages of the Koran in Arabic written in fine golden Arabic script. It has long been considered Sharjah's main attraction.

At the exit from the city of Sharjah along the Al Dhaid highway, the majestic Sharjah Stele. The huge monument was erected in 1998, when the city received special status from UNESCO - the cultural capital of the entire Arab world. This monument commemorated this significant event.

In addition, try to familiarize yourself with Flag Island in the center of Halin Lagoon.

City museums

Archaeological Museum

In the city center looked into Archaeological Museum, which tells the history of the emirate and the region, its civilization and cultural development from ancient times to the present. The museum is divided into 4 parts, each of which covers its own period of history. The first of them introduces you to the Stone Age, the second to the Bronze Age, the third to the Iron Age, and the fourth to a thriving civilization. The most interesting object in the museum is the coin mold used to print the currency of Alexander the Great himself.

Art Museum

Behind the market visited Art Museum, founded in 1995, with 68 showrooms. I really liked each of the eight collections personally assembled by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. Almost all items in the collection date back to the 18th century and are presented in the form of paintings of the Arab East, which were painted by European Orientalists. As it turned out, I visited a museum that is considered one of the largest art galleries in the Middle East.

Was very pleased with the visit Al Mahata Old Airport Museum. In the museum you can find several sections of different themes. From the mock-ups of the first section, I learned about the aircraft that at one time or another landed at this airport. But in the section of old inventions I got acquainted with technology invented at the beginning of the 20th century.

I think the following museums are worth visiting:

  • Maritime Museum;
  • Al Nabudah House;
  • Museum of Old Cars;
  • Desert Park;
  • Science Museum.

Religious buildings

Al Sharq Mosque

I liked the beautiful mosque not far from the coast Al Sharq. The comparatively small size gives the mosque compactness and special coziness, and the two slender minarets give grace and expressiveness. Near it there is a fountain with beautiful evening lighting.

Couldn't pass by another mosque - Al Emam Ahmad Bin Hanbal, located in the central square of the city. It was built in honor of the outstanding scientist and theologian Ahmad ibn Hanbal. He is considered the founder of the school of Islamic jurisprudence. In addition, among Muslims he is a great imam, one of the greatest experts in the traditions of Muhammad.

Against the background of the architecture of Islamic and Muslim mosques, it clearly stood out Armenian Church of St. George the Illuminator. The local Armenian community achieved the construction of this church in 1980 with the help of Father Oshakyan Choloyanu and since then it has become a real spiritual center of the Armenian community. This small, bright building, designed in the standard architectural style of Caucasian temples, is easy to notice thanks to its triangular domes and modest towers.

I also advise you to pay attention to the following shrines:

  • Corniche Mosque near the Radisson Blu hotel;
  • Al Majaz Mosque on the coast of Khalid Lagoon;
  • Church of the Apostle Philip, Al Yarmouk district;
  • Al Qasba Mosque at the intersection of Al Qasbah Canal and Al Khan Street;
  • Al Noor Mosque on the embankment 3 kilometers from the city center.

What can a tourist see in Sharjah in 1 day?

King Faisal Mosque

It seems that one day is very little time to enjoy sightseeing. But, when choosing what to see in the UAE and stopping at Sharjah, I advise you to spend the day in such a way as to see the most interesting and impressive things.

  • Allow plenty of time to stroll around the popular Al Qasbah pedestrian area, where there are many interesting entertainments.
  • Thanks to the Eye of the Emirates Ferris wheel, take advantage of the opportunity to observe not only the sights, but also the dancing 100-meter fountain in Al Majas Park from a 60-meter height.
  • Visit one of the most expensive mosques – King Faisal Mosque, donated to the city by the head of Saudi Arabia.
  • Not far from the mosque you will find 7-meter monument to the Koran.

Where to go and what to see in Sharjah with children

Al Montaza Park

There are many places in Sharjah where you can go with your child. Here are some of them:

  • Al Montaza Park located on Flag Island in the city center. Since the park’s territory is huge, I advise you to travel around it by special transport - a car, boat or train - and decide on the attractions: extreme slides, swings or a water park.
  • Sharjah Aquarium. Your child will be delighted by 250 species of inhabitants of the shores of the Oman and Persian Gulfs, including predators: sharks, moray eels and dangerous stingrays. Its peculiarity is the illusion of walking along the seabed.
  • Discovery Center. It provides a variety of entertainment. Achievements of science, principles of operation of technology, building a house, determining a future profession - this is only part of what can be learned and how to entertain a child.

Video review of Sharjah attractions

We bring to your attention the official video of the Administration for Commerce and Tourism Development of the Emirate of Sharjah. Which will most colorfully introduce you to local attractions.

Sharjah is a rather strict emirate, but its interesting attractions dilute this factor. You found out my favorite places, maybe you can recommend something else? I look forward to your suggestions in the comments.

Here are the names of Sharjah attractions that you should definitely see with your own eyes and capture in photographs:

Fountain in the bay- one of the largest in the world. It is not only huge, but also very beautiful. Come see it in the evening, when the light and sound show begins: jets of water, illuminated by multi-colored spotlights, wonderfully “dance” to the music.

- the largest in the UAE, accommodating three thousand worshipers. The building is new, built in the twentieth century, but made in the traditional Arabic style interspersed with modern architectural elements. Booklets describing the sights of Sharjah indicate that it is better to come to the mosque in the evening - at this time the lighting turns on, which makes the building look like a fairy-tale palace.

Firoze Edassery

Seven meter monument "Koran" in the city square - one of the main attractions of Sharjah, a photo of which can be found in any tourist guide. This monument is a symbol of the Muslim faith and a source of pride for the townspeople.

- a rather large and very beautiful complex that invariably attracts tourists.

Local markets is also a special object, and any map with the sights of Sharjah will point you to them. The markets of this city are the most luxurious and beautiful in the Emirates, with the atmosphere of the old East. Exquisite exterior design, stunning interior decoration, incredible variety of goods - you will see all this in local markets.

Come here for jewelry, souvenirs, dishes, antiques and everything your heart desires. By the way, the map of Sharjah with attractions shows that the Central Market is located not far from the Faisal Mosque, so you can combine a visit to them.

On Government Square you will see the Monument to Progress - a structure 15 meters high. The guide to the sights of Sharjah in Russian says that this monument symbolizes both the veneration of traditions by the local population and their desire for development.

Visit Al Khish Fort- a two-story fortification made of coral, stones and adobe, which is located in the very center of the city. Previously, it was the residence of the local ruling family, and today it has been turned into one of the most popular city museums.

In addition, Sharjah has many interesting museums that you can visit as part of excursion programs.

Sharjah, the cultural capital of the Arab world, has numerous attractions. Tourists rarely pass up the opportunity to visit Sharjah's intriguing museums, traditional souks, family entertainment venues, shopping malls and other attractions. Below we will present you the most interesting attractions of Sharjah that are worth visiting during your holiday in this emirate.

Central Market (Blue Market)

Located near Khalid Lagoon, the Blue Souk or Central Souk is Sharjah's main shopping centre. It is the largest market in the city and offers a unique shopping experience. It serves as a perfect example of an Islamic designed market and has over six hundred charming shops where you can buy a variety of goods. But you shouldn’t treat this market solely as a place for shopping, because it is architecturally and culturally interesting. If you are interested in all the best attractions in Sharjah, then a visit to the Blue Souk is a must.

Sharjah Central Market is popular among locals and tourists. You will find two sections here that are connected by tunnels. One section is dedicated to electronics, home goods and gifts, and the other section is dedicated to jewelry, gold and gemstones. This part of the Blue Market is often called the Gold Market.

This quaint fishing village is considered the southernmost village in the UAE and has a fish market on the seafront. Kalba is an amazing place to walk and has quite a few tourist attractions in the surrounding area. For example, there is a completely reconstructed house of Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qassimi, where you can see traditional furniture and musical instruments. Built as a fortress almost 200 years ago, the Al-Hisn Museum is another place worth mentioning. If you head south from the village you will come to a nature reserve that preserves the beautiful mangrove forests. This is a true birdwatcher's paradise, with many different birds to be seen, including reef herons.

The village of Kalba is not particularly popular among tourists, as it is located quite far from the center of Sharjah, and travel agencies rarely offer excursions here. But if you want to explore the sights of Sharjah and the UAE on your own with a rental car, then Kalba Village deserves to be on your list.

Opened in 1997, the Sharjah Art Museum is still considered the largest and one of the most popular museums in the United Arab Emirates. It houses permanent collections and also hosts temporary exhibitions. Here you can see some of the valuable works of art from the collection of the famous ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.

There are 72 galleries spread across three floors of the building, with an emphasis on the work of artists who contributed to painting in the Arab world. The Ali Darwish Gallery focuses on the urban natural environment, culture and architecture, while the contemporary houses section features over 300 works by local and international artists.

If you love looking at paintings, you should definitely visit the Sharjah Art Museum.

Heritage Square is an area that houses several museums including Souq Al Arsah, Sharjah Heritage Museum, Sharjah Fort and Al Madfaa House. In other words, many of Sharjah's famous attractions are concentrated in Heritage Square.

Souq Al Arsah is a large open courtyard that includes a large number of shops selling handicrafts, traditional clothing, jewelry and beauty products. The Sharjah Heritage Museum has 16 departments, each dedicated to a unique aspect of UAE culture. At the Al-Madfaa House you can see exhibits dedicated to the culture and literature of the region. Another interesting site in Heritage Square is Al Hisn Fort, which showcases the city's rich history through themed displays.

One of the most popular recreational and entertainment spots in Sharjah is Al Majaz Park (or Al Majaz as it is also known), which is located on the shores of the impressive Khalid Lagoon between Khalid Corniche and Jamal Abdul Nasser Road. This park is great for relaxing at any time of the day, and the most notable feature here is the Sharjah Fountains. You can enjoy a spectacular show of singing fountains and see how the water jets rise to a height of 100 meters.

Al Majaz Park also features areas for cultural and recreational activities, green areas, a prominent mosque and walking areas with kiosks selling soft drinks and snacks.

If we list all the most popular attractions in Sharjah, we cannot ignore the Al Qasba area, which attracts crowds of tourists every day. Al Qasbah is considered a suburb of Sharjah and a place with a wide range of entertainment options. The area's most famous landmark is the large Ferris wheel, also known as the Eye of the Emirates. This Ferris wheel allows you to climb to a height of 60 meters and get a panoramic view of the entire city of Sharjah.

The Al Qasbah Musical Fountain is another interesting attraction to see. Its spectacular water cannons create a fantastic show that is accompanied by music.

Khorfakkan is located on the east coast of the UAE and is the second largest city in the emirate of Sharjah. Although the city's main feature is its thriving and picturesque container port, the surrounding area is excellent for divers. In addition, there are many interesting attractions near the city. One of them is Shark Island, a popular diving spot where you can enjoy exploring the underwater world. The Rifaisa Dam, located in the interior mountains, is the second famous landmark in the region. Khorfakkan Beach, with its beautiful warm water, is one of the main areas for picnics and water sports.

Located in the desert approximately 25 km east of the city of Sharjah, the Arabian Wildlife Center is a renowned zoological park with the largest collection of Arabian wildlife in the world. Here you can see animals in their natural environment through large glass walls. The Wildlife Center is divided into several sections, each dedicated to a specific group of species, including large carnivores, reptiles, birds and invertebrates. Showcasing the wide variety of fauna found in the Arabian Peninsula, this indoor park invites you to have a fun day out, no matter the weather conditions.

Museum of Islamic Civilization

The sights of Sharjah will certainly appeal to lovers of culture and history, since this emirate of the UAE has many interesting museums. One of them is the Museum of Islamic Civilization, which is an ideal place for a better understanding of the Islamic faith and the characteristics of Islamic culture. It is located on the waterfront in an impressive hall and allows you to dive deep into the roots of Arab and Islamic culture. The ground floor galleries showcase various aspects of Islamic culture, from scientific advances in astronomy and mathematics to the rituals and significance of the Hajj. The galleries on the top floor display art and artifacts from Islamic culture. Exhibits on the top floor include woodworking, ceramics, clay, glass, jewelry, textiles, and handicrafts with silver, gold, and brass inlay. The collection of silver dinar and dirham coins from the Abbasid and Umayyad eras, as well as the zodiac mosaic under the central dome, are among the highlights of the exhibition halls.

If you want to explore the cultural attractions of Sharjah, then a visit to this museum is a must.

Natural History Museum and Desert Park

Tourists who enjoy natural attractions should visit the Sharjah Natural History Museum and Desert Park, which helps its visitors better understand the flora and fauna of the UAE and also provides scientific explanations of natural processes in the most intriguing way. This sprawling area, which includes a natural history museum and a desert park, is a unique destination in the UAE, consisting of three sections: a natural history museum, an Arabian wildlife center and a children's farm. The first section offers the opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna of the Arabian Desert through five main exhibition halls: Man and the Environment, Journey Through Time, Journey to Sharjah, Life in the Desert and Life at Sea. The children's farm offers children the opportunity to be very close to nature and interact with animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens. We have already talked about the last section, the Arabian Wildlife Center, in this article.

Aquarium

Sharjah Aquarium is a place where you can see marine life up close. Here you will find about 20 large aquariums filled with water, containing a variety of sea creatures. The main purpose of this site was to encourage the conservation of underwater life. The aquarium features more than 250 species of aquatic animals, ranging from colorful fish and reef sharks to eels and seahorses. Sharjah Aquarium is an excellent alternative to Dubai Aquarium, but is significantly cheaper than its competitor in the Dubai Mall.

Among the historical attractions of Sharjah is the archaeological museum, which depicts the history of the existence of the city with the help of fascinating exhibits. There are even exhibits from the Stone Age. Tourists visiting this site will be able to learn a lot of interesting things about the history of Sharjah with the help of well-preserved archaeological sites. The museum is divided into several sections. The Stone Age section shows the technologies used by people in the old days, when numerous pieces of flint were still used to make fire. In addition, the exhibition includes ceramic remains and decorative gemstones, which confirm that the site of Sharjah was a trading center for trade with Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq).

The Bronze Age Hall displays finds from the period, which include stone and metal jewelry and pottery. However, the main exhibits of the museum are a ceramic dome, a statue of a camel, a golden bridle and an ivory comb placed inside an alabaster bowl.

This museum is considered one of the most interesting in the UAE and is good for visiting with children as there are some games for them.

Its goal is to impart knowledge about science and create enthusiasm for science among children and people of all ages. It uses a fun approach to interactive sessions and displays to explore life, space, science experiments, and more. Visitors can watch special films, try to solve puzzles about the human body and test some objects for strength and flexibility. Children have their own playground, which allows them to better understand the world. Also, the Sharjah Science Museum offers the opportunity to explore the universe with the help of a planetarium.

Conclusion

As you already understand, the attractions of Sharjah are very diverse and numerous. At the moment, there is no other place in the UAE that can compete with Sharjah in terms of historical and cultural attractions, although Abu Dhabi will soon be able to do this, where the Louvre has already opened and other museums are planned to open. In the meantime, we recommend that lovers of history and culture go to Sharjah, where very interesting sights are grouped in a relatively small area. If everything that Sharjah offers is not enough for you, then you can go on excursions to other emirates of the UAE. For example, to neighboring Dubai.

Might be interesting

Each of us, of course, dreams of the sun and sea, which are fully represented here. Well-maintained snow-white beaches and azure waters of the Persian and Oman Gulfs will not leave anyone indifferent. But the sunbed on the beach soon gets boring, and we realize that spiritual food and entertainment are not alien to us. We feverishly begin to search for information about local entertainment and shopping centers, local attractions, etc.

For those who like to “light up” at discos, slightly speeding up the blood with alcohol, or “have a good time” in a restaurant or bar after sunbathing during the day, it is worth choosing another emirate for relaxation. - the strictest emirate in terms of morals and laws. There is a prohibition law and a ban on discos and other similar entertainment events. But for history buffs there are huge opportunities for self-education, and for families or groups of people who prefer a healthy lifestyle, there are places where you can spend time interestingly and profitably. A huge number of carefully preserved ancient monuments telling about the formation and struggle of the people of this region, 14 museums of a wide variety of directions, parks - this is only a small part of the interesting places in Sharjah. We will try to give you some information about the places you can visit while spending your holiday in Sharjah.

Architecture

A story about this city will not make any sense if you do not describe its appearance. This is a beautiful city covered with greenery with an amazing lagoon, where two and three-story mansions coexist with high-rise modern buildings that harmoniously complement each other. All this alternates with ancient, carefully restored buildings and a huge number of mosques, raising their spiers high. All this is done in Islamic traditions, and the flavor of the East can be felt in every alley. Everywhere you feel a kind of completeness, which you feel when you enter the house of a good owner, who does everything with high quality, and therefore for a long time.

Here you can visit. It was built by the king as a gift to the emirate for his strict adherence to the tenets of Islam and is the largest in the Emirates. It can accommodate up to 3,000 believers at the same time, which in itself is a record.

You can also admire the tallest in the world, which is located in the middle of the lagoon and depicts a stream of oil escaping from the ground. Thus, local residents expressed gratitude to this source of energy, which brought prosperity and well-being to the region. It is especially beautiful in the evening when the lights are on.

Shopping and entertainment centers and markets

Huge shopping centers with their own entertainment centers for both children and adults are available for shopping lovers. Our observant tourists have noticed that prices for many goods here are lower than in similar ones, which often becomes the decisive factor in the purchase of a particular item.

Well, visiting the East and not visiting the markets is an unforgivable mistake! Modern: Central Market (referred to as “trailers” among tourists) and. Ancient: (with a roof made of palm branches - barasti), Fish Market and, amazingly beautiful, decorated with rare varieties of marble and granite - and many more large and small markets scattered throughout the city. Here you can buy almost everything - from gold and silver jewelry to an old nail. We must remember that the Arabs are structured in such a way that to a buyer who knows how to bargain and stands his ground to the end, naturally within reasonable limits, they are ready to give the goods for next to nothing, sometimes to their detriment. What this is connected with is not clear. Apparently, a good conversationalist is more important to them than money.

Parks

Very close, literally a 20-minute drive from the center, is the unique Desert Park complex, which includes the Museum of Natural History, and. For a fairly affordable price, you will immerse yourself in the Arabian nature, and you are unlikely to have enough day to explore all the attractions of the park. As a result, you cannot avoid a second visit here. Everything is arranged in such a way that you are captivated by a genuine interest in everything around you.

You can have a good time with your whole family or company. There is everything for this - special lawns for picnics, attractions and swimming pools for children and adults, a football field and a mini zoo.

For gourmets who love a variety of national cuisines, this is simply paradise. A huge number of cafes and eateries that you will find in any corner of the city will satisfy the appetite of the most fastidious of visitors.

It’s not worth talking about. Their directions are so diverse that there is no point in recommending any of them - the choice is only yours. The same can be said about the Sharjah Exhibition Center, where numerous different thematic exhibitions and fairs are held.

This is not a complete list of places that are worth visiting while vacationing in Sharjah. We organize our own leisure time and the saying: “A smart person is never bored” is just as relevant here as at home.
