Only yesterday we flew in from Jordan, I am writing a review because I usually read reviews myself before ordering a voucher. I liked everything about the hotel, I liked everything, a special thank you to Dasha (she was very attentive, helped with the check-in), we were provided with a sea view, although we paid for the usual. The hotel is probably the best in Jordan, although you don't expect anything special, you can compare it with the Egyptian five. Nevertheless, everything was cleaned, towels were changed, everything was new. The food was no frills, but everything was deliciously prepared, there was always a selection of cheeses. we only had apples and tangerines. Water is put in the room every day and the bar is replenished for free. The staff is just excellent, as I understand it, Filipinos, from the first time they remember what you prefer (what kind of wine, coffee, etc.) Very smiling and unobtrusive ...
The country is very dirty, there is garbage everywhere. We went to Tala Bay, we liked it very much, everything is clean and beautiful there. Aqaba is all shabby and dirty (you can get there by hotel bus for free) we took a taxi (with the help of Dasha, we got back by hotel bus .Bus right on schedule. In Aqaba you can buy coffee, souvenirs, silver. We agreed with a taxi driver (they stand near the Hilton) and he drove us two for 2 days. The first day visited Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. The second day is the dead sea and hot waterfalls. I liked everything very much.
Now attention! Do not get into trouble as we do! We ordered a tour in a travel agency under the agreement "Development Technologies LLC", agent-Kulanova Natalya Viktorovna, January 24. Tour operator-Pegas. I clarified everything when booking. We were supposed to fly on the 19th in the evening from Sheremetyevo and return to the same place, instead, the flight was transferred to Domodedovo at 6 a.m. and the arrival there, respectively (in principle, a common thing, for charter) Then everything is interesting))) instead of the branded large board promised (Pegasus), we received Ural Airlines (in he was scared to sit down), but ... I think, okay, we were in a positive mood, rest all the same ... we arrived, we get out of the plane and welcome to ISRAEL! Nobody even deigned to warn us! We changed not only the airline, the time and place of departure but also the country of arrival !!! We were loaded onto a bus, for about an hour we drove through Israel to the border, then once again we went through Israeli passport control with the lifting of suitcases, then on foot we crossed the border with our belongings and again passport control is now Jordan ai, shining through things, etc. They all still see this as a novelty, so nothing is organized. In general, a complete nightmare! Half a day of our vacation was simply stolen. But it was still flowers, we had to come back. was at 10:30 (!), nevertheless, we were picked up from the hotel at 5:40 (!), at first we thought that we were probably the first to be picked up, that's why it's so early. No, we got on the already full bus and we went At first there was the Jordanian border (everything is fast there), again we crossed the border on foot with our belongings, and then it was sooo fun! We went in together with the Jordanians who cross the border in order to work in Israel, the TV worked alone, the queue was wild. all things, because Jordan is an Arab country and is not friendly to Israel. Then we were loaded onto the bus again and taken to the airport, then we were again shaken up all our things, and an interesting detail - if you are a family, they let you through, and if friends put you aside and let you go to check-in after family! In general, all the rest for smarku! My advice, if you also make up such a program on the last day, refuse! for your money, and not small and you will get a bunch of inconveniences!
At the airport they told us that Israel pays 45 euros for each tourist to a tour operator (as support for tourism). I don't know whether it's true or not. It's sad that people are treated like this by our tour operators, in particular Pegasus.

One of the best hotels in Tala Bay, on excursions we talked with tourists from other hotels and realized that it was not in vain that we decided to stay in it. However, each hotel has its poles and cons. The pluses include: + Nice green well-groomed area + Excellent food + Conscientious housekeeping + Excellent system of pools and water slides + Customer-oriented staff + Good animation team The minuses include the following things: - Quite dirty beach, although it is being cleaned this is more often), someone throws out cigarette butts and other small trash - The sand itself is not very good, it is not enough on the volleyball court and you can get injured (for reference, the best sand is near Grand Tala Bay) - The prices for alcohol are very high. I understand that this is politics company, but all the same. -Entry into the sea is not very comfortable, it is hard to enter without coral slippers (but this rather refers not to the disadvantages of the hotel, but to the place where it is located) -Excessive attention of the guards to your bags when you return from Aqaba or from the marina (this is really not very nice) - Mosquitoes! In the first days of our stay at the hotel, we did not notice them, because it was windy, but as soon as the wind died down, they went on the attack, it is simply impossible to stay on the balcony for a long time, they eat them. At the end of the vacation, we noticed that we began to process the territory more often and their number decreased slightly (apparently many were complaining) I would like to separately note the animation team, these guys really try to make your stay at the hotel more interesting. Always positive and helpful. Tips: 1. Shops with alcohol at reasonable prices are located on the edges of the marina (the place where ships moor), it takes 7-10 minutes to walk along the beach before the first, 15 minutes to the second, there is no point in going to Aqaba, the prices are the same. 2.If you are coming here hoping to go snorkeling, then this is definitely a bad idea, there is an extremely poor marine life. Even on a boat trip you don't see anything interesting. In general, in relation to this hotel, 90% of emotions are positive, I advise everyone. P.S. (Not regarding the hotel) If you are coming here from TUI, then I would not recommend buying excursions from them, because they were the worst organizationally in my experience. Let me explain what is wrong - you are always taken by a big bus (more than 40 seats), and this hotel is located the very last on the coastline, i.e. In most cases, you are picked up by one of the very first (then they go to all hotels to collect other tourists, the maximum time that we spent on such fees was about two hours), and they are brought in by the very last, delivering all the rest first. On the first excursion you are still interested and you look around, but on the second and third you can hardly endure all these stops. Also, a lot of time on excursions is spent on trips to all sorts of souvenir shops, etc. Then, upon arrival at the venue, you will have a quick jog along the sights, and the same road to the hotel. In my opinion, it is better to overpay a little and buy an excursion program elsewhere.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience, we are glad that you had a great time at our resort and it is good to know that you enjoyed most of our services (if not all), including our pools, the cleanliness and variety of food, the staff and the animation team ... As for the sand on the beach, we regularly clean our shore, including butts. Regarding the entrance to the sea, unfortunately we cannot change the natural state of our beach. Rest assured, we care about the safety of our guests, which is why we offer special shoes on the towel counters for a minimal fee. We hope you will visit us again. It is important that our guests leave the resort happy and satisfied. Best regards Sami Ounalli Resort Manager

impressions of the trip.
We were in Jordan for 7 nights, the arrival, as I understand it, now goes to the military airport and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. We left our belongings in the lobby and went to an organized late dinner for those who checked in late. Cold and not tasty food, a small distribution area indicated that the choice of dishes would not be great. The country is just mastering the tour stream, as we were told, and those "all inclusive" to which many are accustomed here have nothing to do with it.
Meals took "all inclusive" then it turned out that there is an increase (software) - this means, firstly, you will not have alcohol on, none. Secondly, you are entitled to 2 drinks per person for lunch and dinner, let's say 2 cans of cola or 2 juices, in the morning juices / teas are free. I must say that a jug of water is placed on the table during meals. Breakfasts (eggs with fillings are fried, boiled vegetables, cold cuts and cheeses, fruits can be seen more often in the morning. Porridge, yoghurts, dry breakfasts, in general, breakfast was more complicated with lunches. It is not customary to take a bag with lunch here, if we came more often by the middle of it, there were only Russians.Soups (sometimes 2 types) side dishes of several types, ready-made hot, fish, chicken and sometimes lamb, the cook was in no hurry to go out to grill something and had to adjust, and so do the chicken and beef on skewers. Dinners are plentiful, sometimes, as I understand it, they are even themed. This is where your all-inclusive ends, cocktails on the beach - pay, a bottle of water - pay. Our rest became somewhat easier when I read that it was not far from our the rooms have an ice machine, they either filled a bucket in the room, or put ice in a sports bottle and took it to the beach.
Upon check-in, we got a room with 2 beds, we were changed to one big one without question, there was no question of the view from the room, we were arranged with a patio and some mountains. They cleaned, I will not say that it was gorgeous (the dirt on the balcony lived with us until the last day) there were no bathrobes in the room. There is a mini-bar, the bottles are half of those we are used to, they are changed once a day for free, the bottles with water were not put several times. The room has a kettle, the tap water is clean, tea was brewed. I use my own cosmetics, but the tubes seem to be updated. Several of our channels are on TV.
The territory is large and green, there are many pools and there is where to swim, minus, of course, in the wild Muslims that go where you can and cannot, children screaming them without stopping, although there are pools in which only adults can. The entrance to the sea is terrible, I don't know what they covered with sand, stones and it looks more like a small paddock. There is nowhere to swim again. I drove across the red sea in the hope of diving, near the hotel there are several stones at a very shallow depth, some fish, but behind the pontoon I almost ran into a moray eel.
Our guide met us on the second day, we bought a trip to Petra (in the price list there was a price of 190 $ then like if you pay 160 today) I don't know what would be better, take a transfer for 60 and walk there ourselves and provide ourselves with food or questionable excursion. We left in the morning, sorting through other hotels, vacationers realized that they had chosen an all-good hotel. It took about 2.5 hours to go to Petra, there were a couple of stops, the first was just in the desert, the second was at a tame store, there are no prudently price tags, the staff does not understand well, but breeds correctly. For comparison, I asked my husband to impose an arafatka - a total of 25 dinars, for comparison, in Petra itself it was already 5. Those who paid only for the transfer of 60 dollars still pay an entrance ticket there, in my opinion about 50 dollars, in general the savings are dubious. Ride for fools will not work, the guide remembers all the milestones and without hesitation asks those who have not paid to leave the tour. Treat your capabilities sensibly, it's hot and hard, take money with you - buy and drink water, there are toilets all the way where you can wash and wet your head, take a second bottle for washing on the way, it helps a lot when it gets very hot. Petra is worth seeing, since we are in this country, there are many dirty Bedouins, all horse riding is paid, for those who are tired of always going to the aid of a cart, but it will cost a lot. About the fact that their children do not have any equipment to photograph you in a good angle of speech and can not be, although the likeness of their police is walking there. It is much harder to come back than to walk, we saw only a small part of it, of course there is not even a week. On the way back we were taken to the Movenpick Petra hotel ..... terrible food, it was a mockery of everyone ....
In the neighborhood of our hotel, the Marina Plaza is a certain Tala Bay (like a resort area), there are shops and an alcohol market, including, the prices are adequate, they bought whiskey there, there is only one problem ... As our guide said, our hotel prohibited outsiders entered its territory and they, in turn, made it so that we had to pay for the passage of 10 dinars there and back per person. There are security guards on the beach. Strictly they don't run after everyone, they didn’t notice it for the first time, we bought everything, we come back, the guard is bustling - he writes 25 dinars on his palm, they just answered in Russian that we didn’t understand him and let him go. The second time we decided to go not across the beach, there were minor problems, but by that moment I felt so bad from the heat that I just muttered - that I felt bad and I went to the store. From the hotel several times a day there is a free bus to the city of Akkaba, there are shops there, there is no need to sign up, but the Gypsies are loaded into these shuttles by the whole village and sometimes their suitcases to the top, tune in that you can not fit, although there was such a second ... A taxi costs about 7-8 dinars. The central place is as usual at McDonald's, by the way, I have never eaten more free and cold food, although it is not shameful to get a grilled chicken and spread it right there.
About the Pegasus and the transfer of the flight was a separate pleasure, we were evicted at 12-00, but the flight was moved to 23-15, homeless until 20-00 on the territory of the hotel, since they did not take the card for towels, a separate pleasant surprise was the delay of the plane by 45 minutes, no one reported anything, but the scoreboard wrote that everything would be on time.

In general, a one-time trip, if you do not dream of Petra, then it is better not to visit this country. The heat at this time of the year is unbearable, and for that kind of money you can get better and better quality rest.
