For inspiration, we have prepared for you top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world... The list includes beaches from all over the world, from Australia to Russia - there is plenty to choose from.

10. Australia, Darwin, Lee Point beach

Opens a selection of the best beaches in the world, Lee Point, Australia. The beaches around Darwin are very popular with the local population. No wonder - when a day with a temperature of 29 ° is considered not hot, it is especially pleasant to go to the beach, where a constant cool wind blows from the sea. And wide sandy spaces, picturesque sunsets and wildlife attract people inclined to contemplation. The sandy strip alternates with lively areas with well-developed infrastructure, with semi-wild places, where only the sun, sand, stones and you.

Advice: Australia's sunshine is not only joy, but also sorrow: the country's skin cancer rate is the highest in the world. Therefore, be sure to take with you a sunscreen with a maximum filter and be sure to cover all exposed skin with it. Even if the sky is overcast.

9. Anguilla, Shoal Bay beach

All the islands in the Caribbean are beautiful, but Anguilla stands out even from the rest. The surface relief is small, and the beaches are simply incredible in size and length. It is here that the rich and famous often rest who want to stay out of sight of the spotlights. And the local population is 80.8 years old, which is not surprising, in such and such excellent living conditions.

The real pearl of Anguilla is Shoal Bay beach with the highest degree of snow-white sand and the purest water. The weather is ideal almost all year round, there are not so many people, and since there is no production on the island, nothing pollutes the air. Many tourists feel like they are in a real paradise.

Fortunately, for those of us who don't have a million dollar bank account, the island of Saint-Martin is nearby, whose beaches are just as good. Getting there is easy - just an hour of pleasant boat ride.

8. England, Saunton Sands beach

It is located not far from the famous surfing beach of Croyd among the British. Saunton Sands is a typical English beach, about three and a half kilometers long, with a pleasant and soft golden shade of sand. On the one hand, it is bounded by the sea, on the other, by a chain of dunes, where locals and travel companies rent small cottages to tourists.

The beach is quite densely populated - both locals and tourists roam there, dogs run after frisbees, and sometimes you can even run into a musical group performing songs by Bob Marley. It is good to come here for a couple of days to enjoy the resort atmosphere and cool, pleasant Devon sun.

Bring a surfboard with you, establish friendships with the neighbour's dogs throwing a ball at your feet and looking expectantly into your eyes, bask in the sun in the dunes, or treat yourself to strawberries and cream on the terrace of one of the beach cafes. Well, if you combine pleasure with intellectual relaxation, there are more than enough attractions nearby per unit area.

7.Spain, Cies Islands, Rodas Beach

The Cies Islands Territories are part of the Atlantic Islands Marine National Park. There are actually three islands - Monteagudo, Faro, San Martino. Faro is connected with Monteagudo by a long sandy strip stretching for more than a kilometer. This is what is called Rodas Beach.

This beach can be recommended to lovers of wildlife, especially those who like to take photos and videos from the life of animals - due to the unique natural conditions, it is full of all kinds of animals, from the ubiquitous seagulls to dolphins. It is a great place for hiking and diving. Wonderful clean air (the islands have no industry at all), very beautiful landscapes and the cleanest beach - ideal conditions for a family vacation.

However, the national park imposes its own restrictions:

  • up to two thousand people can visit the islands a day;
  • you can only move along specially laid paths;
  • it is forbidden to spend the night on the islands, to make fires;
  • and the garbage must be taken with you and thrown away already on the continent.

6. Cambodia, Koh Rong Samloem, Sunset Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in Cambodia is not easy to get to. First you need to get on the ferry going from the mainland, then from the main port of the island it will take about an hour to walk through the forest (beware of fire ants, they bite painfully). Luckily, the beach has plenty of room to sit comfortably, so you may fall asleep later that night to the soothing murmur of the ocean. Hammocks are everywhere here, so there is no problem finding the perfect place to take selfies on Instagram.

The orange fine sand of the beach contrasts nicely with the blue water, and the silhouette of an abandoned pier adds a touch of romance (again, it looks very good against the sunset sky in the photo). But real life boils under the surface of the water. As soon as you put your foot into the water, a curious fish will immediately come up and begin to study you as carefully as you do it.

The deeper, the larger the fish, the more varied and the most amazing colors. The beach is called Sunset Beach for a reason - it offers stunning views of the bay. Nothing limits the view for many kilometers ahead, and you can freely admire all the richness of the colors of the tropical setting sun.

5. Costa Rica, Playa Chiquita beach

Costa Rica is washed on both sides by two oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic, and there are a lot of beautiful beaches. Playa Chiquita is no exception - the sand there is soft, golden, and the flat bottom and clear water are ideal for swimming and relaxing on the beach.

The peculiarity of the beach is that due to the specific coastline, it is divided into several sections, where coves alternate with open spaces. Thus, if some part seems too densely populated to you, you can find hidden passages to secluded, uncrowded places, where you can swim and sunbathe almost completely alone.

4. Russia-Lithuania, Curonian Spit

One with white sandy beaches, picturesque dunes, fragrant pine forests heated in the sun, delicious smoked fish and excellent bike paths. You are here if you are not delighted with the crowd, or the tropical sun, but you like nature, sometimes the cool Baltic breeze and the setting that awakens the imagination.

It is a narrow strip of spit, only 3-4 kilometers wide, but it stretches for more than 100 km and is distinguished by a variety of landscapes - here forests border the desert, and the desert - with a well-maintained beach or a picturesque fishing village.

The spit is also one of the best places to watch the sunsets. In the north, sunsets are not as lightning fast as at the equator, so grab a blanket, a bottle of beer and smoked fish and sit comfortably in the dunes. And then you will see a wondrous sight: the sky lights up in rich gold, red and purple hues, before it acquires a deep blue hue with a dense scattering of stars.

3. Turkey, Kusadas beach

The list of the most beautiful beaches would be incomplete without mentioning Turkey, beloved by Russians. One of the most beautiful beaches in this country (and there are many of them) is Kusadasi. The water there has a noble and deep bluish-green hue; it is understandable why this part of the country is called the "Turquoise Coast". The hills bordering the beach are covered with pine and cedar trees, so on a sunny summer day, the entire coast is literally fragrant.

The resorts on the Turquoise Coast are secluded, but very good - quite a few beaches are noted for their cleanliness and tidiness. And if you are a misanthrope, you can ride a yacht and swim in hidden from prying bays, and swim and bask in the sun without the annoying presence of other bipeds nearby.

2. Philippines, Surigao del Sur, Barobo, Kabgan Island

There are about seven thousand islands in the Philippines, so there are many beaches there, and very beautiful. The most famous of them are located in Kalibo, Palawan and Cebu, but few people know about Kabgan. This beach is located next to the quiet sleepy town of Barobo in the Surigao del Sur area.

There are few people there, the beach is long, clean, on one side it is bordered with rich colored water, and on the other - coconut trees. A great place for those who love unexplored quiet places where you can be alone with the world around you without annoyingly loud music or the antics of animators.

By the way, Kabgan is not the only island; nearby is the Turtle Island, as well as the unique Disappearing Island. It really disappears from the eyes at high tide.

1. South Africa, Cape Town, Bluebergstrand beach

This beach has long and firmly chosen two categories of the population - surfers and photographers. The first choose Bluebergstrand because of the excellent kitesurfing opportunities - the combination of wind and waves on this beach can bring a lot of pleasure to both beginners and veterans of the sport.

And photographers are mainly attracted by the bizarre local rock formation - Table Mountain. Excellent views from the beach. On sunny days, the beach is full of life, families have picnics, adults swim and sunbathe, and children play in the waves. And on less crowded days, sometimes, if you're lucky, you can spot a seal in the waves in the distance.

My ranking of the best beaches in the world 2017

In four years my top best beaches have changed a lot.
If in the previous article I loved the Caribbean region - most of my favorite beaches were there, now the Caribbean is at the bottom of the list.

Now, going to rest at sea, I in addition to the budget of the trip, I also estimate the hardships of the road: flight duration, airline service, ease of movement and transfers on the spot.

The Caribbean is not an option, and I wrote about this after returning from another trip from Central America:.
However, the criterion for assessing the beach for me is the same and I quote myself:

What is the best beach in the world for me

- clean, clear and fairly calm water;
- Convenient entry into the water - in order to swim, I don't have to walk 100 meters knee-deep;
- cleanliness of the beach

Best option: coral white sand that does not heat up in the sun like a frying pan
- minimum of people on the beach.

If sausages are launched on the beach by parachute, jets are thundered by aquabikes - this beach sucks;
- maximum wildlife: I like to have something other than a seal lying next to the beach, because I can't lie on the beach for more than 5 minutes.

The easiest and most affordable sea vacation for me is.
Judge for yourself: fly to the place 3-4 hours ().

Understandable and healthy food: meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, feta cheese, olive oil.
The cleanest sea and beautiful nature around.

Affordable, albeit modest housing - apartments (search on booking.com or on the airbnb website)
Therefore, I'll start with Greece.

Greece

Forgive me Portugal lovers! Your favorite beaches - I absolutely do not like it.

Croatia

Thailand

- In the last year, the holiday season has shifted, and it was quite exciting on these beaches, usually calm in winter.
But still Phuket is the easiest and fastest way to get into summer from the wet Russian autumn / winter (
