Lost things warehouse gup. Lost things on the bus

Forget TV on the bus! Think of the fantasy? But no. And such cases have happened in Khabarovsk, they told us in the control room. This is, of course, an exception. Much more often the townspeople leave glasses, gloves, scarves and ... food in the transport.

“Last year, two men forgot a TV set in the bus,” they told us in the control room of the Khabarovsk interbranch navigation and information center. - Small, in a box. They put it next to the seat, and, apparently, started talking to each other, got off at their stop. Everything worked out, they remembered the loss in a timely manner, contacted us, and we were the carrier. The TV was returned.

And there was also an interesting case on the eve of March 8, dispatchers recall. The man bought his wife a laptop as a gift and safely left it in the bus. He did not remember the side number of the car, but he remembered about the gift for his wife only a few hours later, he called the control room. They say the poor fellow never found his laptop. Some of the passengers most likely found him earlier.

By the way, according to dispatchers, townspeople forget about things in the salons less often, but their number grows unchanged with the onset of autumn and winter. Scarves, gloves, hats, bags with removable shoes - forgetful citizens leave them on their seats, and they just drop them in the hustle and bustle. In the summer, glasses, books, magazines, children's caps and sandals are leading the list of lost items.

- It happens that food is forgotten. For example, food containers, pies and rolls. A couple of times we found whole bags of groceries in the salon. Apparently, someone was returning home from the store, - recalls Marina Belenkaya, conductor of route No. 8. - We usually carry these things with us during the day, suddenly the owner will return. If not, we throw it away - the food goes bad.

Meanwhile, in half of the cases, according to the conductors, the owners still manage to find their belongings - they catch up with the bus if they immediately remember the loss or contact the carrier and take their luggage in the garage where the bus sleeps. It also happens on the contrary, things find their owners. So, according to the dispatchers, if someone's documents and a phone were found in the cabin, they must try to contact the owner or try to find him through social networks. Thus, we have already managed to return several mobile phones.

Nevertheless, most people do not know where to go if they left the necessary thing in public transport - a trolleybus, a bus or a minibus, because there is no general find service in Khabarovsk.

- Generally, things forgotten in buses, trams and trolleybuses, if noticed by a conductor or a driver, are handed over to a carrier - a private entrepreneur or to MUP "GET", - explained in the dispatch office. - If you have left something in the cabin, you should call the Khabarovsk Interindustry Navigation and Information Center at 91-02-07, tell the route, the side number of the bus and the date of the trip. We will let you know whose route it was, and then the owner will have to contact the carrier on their own and find out about the forgotten thing from him.

You can report items forgotten or found in transport by calling 32-85-02, 45-73-15 and 46-12-45.

However, it happens that forgotten things do not reach the driver or conductor at all. As with a laptop, they can be picked up by another passenger. Then, of course, the chances of finding gloves, a bag or a gadget are minimal. Unless the finder will publish an ad on the Internet. Today there are several thematic groups in different social networks.

  • "I won't give up my passport!" - Rules of deposit at rental points ”, read the material.

Since the beginning of December last year, 312 items forgotten by passengers have been found in the capital's buses, trolleybuses and trams. For each episode, a check was carried out, operational services went to the scene of the incidents.

"When leaving the carriage, do not forget your things!" - reminds us of a pleasant voice on subway trains. And still, we often leave our possessions in the subway, and even more so in buses and trams, in electric trains and airplanes, and then we rush about, trying to return what we have acquired with back-breaking labor. Bags, umbrellas, tubes, backpacks, cameras and ... bags with removable shoes often become "orphaned".

According to First Deputy General Director of Mosgortrans Boris Tkachuk, in winter and spring, the number of things forgotten by schoolchildren and students increases, and this leads to flight delays. Since the beginning of December, buses, trolleybuses and trams have been late by a total of 15 hours due to the discovery of unknown objects in the cabins.

Explosives among the "lost" are extremely rare, but the likelihood of their appearance is still there. Therefore, if you find, for example, a package in the cabin, and its owner is gone, do not approach the object, do not touch it and immediately report the find to the driver. If the action takes place in the subway, contact the driver using the call button (it is near every door in the car). The operational services will immediately arrive and find out whether the suspicious package is an explosive device or just a pair of pants in a package.

Residents of the Moscow region are losing credit cards, passports, musical instruments and pets.

The passenger got off the bus, and his personal belongings drove on - perhaps every one of us has been in such a situation. If gloves and mittens can still be attributed to consumables, then the return of documents and phone is a matter of principle. What is most often lost in transport by residents of the Moscow region and what needs to be done to get the item back to the owner, our correspondent figured out.

THE DISTRIBUTED MAN

As they say in Mostransavto, the largest public bus carrier in the Moscow region, the peak of losses falls on the New Year holidays. Bank cards, documents, travel cards, passports, mittens, gloves and hats are most often lost. At the beginning of the school year, among the finds often come across school and student backpacks, bags with replaceable shoes - in 2018, more than two dozen of them were found on buses.

In the electric trains last year, musical instruments were often forgotten: ukulele (miniature guitar. - Ed.), Classical and bass guitars. And in December and early January, New Year's gifts appeared in the top of the forgotten things rating, which never reached the addressees.

ON A CONDUCTOR I UPOVA

The best friends of the losers are the conductors. Thanks to them, things are returned to the owner promptly and without unnecessary bureaucracy. Lucky, as a rule, are those who lose things along with documents - it is easier to find the owner.

For example, a pensioner from Sergiev Posad was returned not only the documents forgotten on the bus, but also 40 thousand rubles. along with the products. The driver of route number 46 Vladimir Kuznetsov and the conductor Valentina Kantemir found the loss. They delivered the string bag forgotten on the bus directly to the old woman's home, after specifying the address in the passport.

RETURN RULES

Alas, the conductors are not magicians, and there are none at all on the suburban electric trains. Therefore, forgotten things often migrate to control rooms and wait for their owners there. Each category of public transport has its own rules for returning lost property.

In case of loss of luggage in the passenger compartment of the bus or at the bus station, the passenger can contact the dispatch service of the branch to which the route belongs, - said in Mostransavto. - Upon receipt of a forgotten item, the passenger must present a document and sign in a special magazine. And underage passengers pick up things accompanied by their parents.

We do not store the things left in the trains, '' admitted the press secretary of the Central Suburban Passenger Company Sofya Popova. - Immediately after detection, we transfer them to the linear subdivisions of the Transport Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Central Federal District. You should go there.

EXPAND SOCIAL MEDIA

There are groups on social networks for finding lost ones, and they work very effectively. Alexey Kulikov from Orekhovo-Zuevo forgot his bass guitar on January 20 in the Gorky train: he left at the Krutoye station, and the instrument went to Petushki. A week after Alexei posted an announcement of the loss in the public "Forgotten things in Moscow trains", the phone rang.

A girl called me and said that she had found the instrument and was ready to return it to me, - said Alexey. - I'm happy! For me, this guitar is a way to make my old dream of starting my own rock band come true, and the loss of such an important instrument for the ensemble would be a big blow.

Forgotten items are a common cause of public transport delays. To check them, they call the operational services that ensure security. This year, buses, trolleybuses and trams have stopped for a total of more than 27 hours due to belongings left by passengers.

Mosgortrans regularly instructs drivers on how to behave in emergency situations, including when an ownerless object is found in the cabin. “At the same time, we ask all users of city transport to be attentive to their property while traveling, and if you find left things in a bus, tram or trolleybus, immediately inform the driver about it,” said Evgeny Mikhailov, General Director of Mosgortrans.
