Rested with my husband in the hotel Tara from 18

We rested with my husband at the Tara Hotel from 18.08.12 to 1.09.12. Impressions about the hotel are the most positive. The only thing that overshadowed was the settlement. We arrived at the hotel around 8 am local time, and settled only at 14.00. It was very hot 36 degrees, a sleepless night spent on the road (which even swimming in the sea did not help, by the way the water, despite the heat was pretty cool) knocked out. Otherwise, the hotel has no complaints. Cleanliness, comfort, excellent food, smiling staff. Beautiful beach with coarse sand. Sunbeds and an umbrella are free, but for a beach towel 0.5 euros daily. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Not far from the entertainment center of Budva, 20 minutes walk along the promenade. The hotel itself also had entertainment 3 times in two weeks, live music, karaoke and just a disco were performed. But we didn’t see those who wanted to dance, mostly vacationers sat at tables and sipped local wine. It was convenient for us to watch the entertainment from the French balcony of our room, located on the 4th floor. Breakfasts are rather monotonous: sausages, scrambled eggs and vegetables, cold cuts and cheese, but at dinner there was something to eat. The buffet is very varied, almost never repeated. Red and white wine, juices, more than 10 types of fruits (we ate so many melons in our entire lives), watermelon, peaches, nectarines, pineapples, kiwi, plums, grapefruit, grapes, pears, bananas, we didn’t even look at apples. Fish and seafood (oysters, mussels, squid salad) wonderfully cooked trout. The room was cleaned daily, but when we did not see once. Every day fresh towels and linen change strictly on the 3rd day. The room is cozy, fairly quiet central air conditioning. But the shower room is not very comfortable, if you take an overhead shower, then you can swim in the toilet room, for some reason there are no curtains or doors, so you had to dodge and very carefully water yourself from a hose with a shower head. Transfer without overlays, everything is on time, up to a minute. The hotel deserves its 4 stars. If we have to visit Becici again, we will choose the TARA hotel!

Everything is fine

Everything is fine. This is our second time staying at this hotel and last year we stayed there again. I like everything very much and the location is convenient and close to the sea and shops. Very convenient, everything is fast. The location of the hotel is very good. The place itself is very beautiful.

Rested with my son at the beginning of July 2011 in the hotel "Tara"

I rested with my son in early July 2011 at the Tara Hotel. I liked it very much. I did not expect from Montenegro and specifically from "Tara", which was not so long ago 3 *, excellent service, cleanliness and order everywhere. Settled without problems, with a side view of the sea, even at no extra charge. Standard room but clean the plumbing is modern, everything works, the air conditioner puffed quietly and did its job for two weeks. And the heat was under 30 in the shade. The maids also cleaned every day, changed the linen (how often I didn’t understand - everything is always white and clean), towels were changed every day even without special need. You come to dinner - the room is washed, cleaned, the towels are white, fresh, the room is cool, good. The balcony is narrow, but there was no need to sit there, but there is a crossbar on which it is convenient to dry towels. Almost no territory. Swimming pool - we never swam, paid bar. There are tables around for those who want to spend a romantic evening for an additional fee, of course. We were fed in a restaurant as in a good 5 * in Turkey. Cleanliness on the tables, napkins, young waiters are unobtrusive, diligent. Standard buffet. We took FB. There are few people at the restaurant for lunch, I liked it very much. But there were no queues at the restaurant for dinner either, and there was always a large selection of meat, fish every time, unlimited wine for lunch and dinner. Coffee and tea only for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, in addition to wine, unnatural juices, plain water. Fruits are always: peaches, bananas, kiwi, apricots, pears, apples, only once there was a cherry. Beach in a shady alley, free hard sunbeds. You can buy a portable mattress right there on the beach (about 7 euros). At first, the hotel card gave free beach towels every morning. Then, apparently, they decided that it was necessary to save water and began to charge 50 euro cents per day for one towel. But you can bring your own. There were always free sunbeds on the beach. But the best by the sea are reserved. Probably for a fee for beachboys. The beach is small pebbles with sand. It didn't bother me. The entrance is also small pebbles. 2-3 meters and immediately deep. You can swim and see the bottom: small fish and sea urchins. There is a large promenade. There are few people. Here in Budva! Don't push through. There are no clothes shops in Becici. Only on the beach beach assortment. There is a big market in Budva and shops in the old town, but it's expensive. There is also a local travel agency on the beach. We went rafting from him - cool and not dangerous (take a spray from horseflies, bastards bite), went to Skadar Lake - silence and virgin nature, beauty (!!!), went to the Bay of Kotor - I definitely recommend this to everyone and also in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is also amazing. I advise you not to go up on the lift and not to stand listening to a guided tour. Go straight to the old town. There are stunning views, narrow streets, shops, restaurants. They give little time, we didn’t have enough, because we went up on the funicular. There is also a beautiful view from above, but, I repeat, there is little time, it is better to take a walk around the old Dubrovnik. Of course, everyone loved it. Nature, mountains, gorges. Especially on rafting. You will be taken through the canyon of the Piva River, it is very beautiful and you can take amazing pictures. Becici is quiet and calm. On weekends, a lone saxophonist played in the hotel bar. Perfect for a romantic evening. And so you can sleep with an open balcony, discos are all in Budva. To Budva by bus 1 euro, by taxi 5. Walk - 40 minutes along the embankment - tiring, but after a hearty dinner, that's it. In general, the impression is very, very 5. I would like to come again, but there are so many beautiful places in the world. Montenegro and "Tara" will occupy the best of them in my memory.

Montenegro has long gained popularity among our compatriots as a seaside resort. And the resort town of Becici is known for its beautiful beaches, which are considered one of the best in Europe. In our article, we want to talk about one of the resort hotels - Sentido Tara 4 * (Becici, Montenegro).

On the shore there are sun loungers and deck chairs, they are free, since their use is included in the price. The beach itself is covered with sand, but in the sea the bottom is made of small pebbles. The water is always warm and clean.

Resort Becici

Becici is a small provincial town. This part of Montenegro has gained great popularity among vacationers due to its wide sandy beaches. It has everything you need for a good rest: hotels, entertainment. Becici is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday with the whole family. But for active entertainment it is better to visit Budva. In Becici, most of the vacationers are pensioners from Europe. The town prepares excellent dishes from fresh fish. Fishing has been done here since ancient times. Becici is immersed in bright greenery surrounded by the sea. Here you can not only swim and sunbathe, but also make exciting and pleasant walks. The beaches of the resort stretch for almost two thousand kilometers along the entire coast.

From Becici you can easily reach all the most interesting places in Montenegro.

Excursions and entertainment

If you have purchased a ticket to "Sentido Tara" (hotel, Montenegro), then your vacation will be very calm and comfortable. However, if you like to not only lie on the sand, but also travel, then you definitely need to think over the excursion route. The hotel, of course, has representatives (guides) of the host, but you can book a trip with any agency. Going out on the promenade by the sea, you will find a considerable number of representatives of travel companies vying with each other offering their excursions. By the way, the cost of their trips is cheaper than in a hotel.

From "Sentido Tara" (hotel, Montenegro) you can get to Budva on your own (bus fare - 1.5 euros), and there you already have a large selection of local attractions.

According to the inhabitants of Budva, in the summer, there are ten Russians per inhabitant in the city. It is not known how true such accurate data is, but the fact that a large number of our compatriots come to the resort in the summer is true. What attracts crowds of tourists here? Probably, the secret of popularity lies not only in the most beautiful beaches and landscapes, but also in the very atmosphere of the city with its historical monuments. It cannot be said that there are historical places in the city at every turn, but nevertheless, a harmonious combination of some factors creates a certain charm of the resort.

In terms of architecture, the Old Town of Budva is of interest. Charming old streets with Venetian buildings are immersed in greenery and flowers and are surrounded by 15th century fortress walls. Walking around this area, you can feel the spirit of ancient Budva. It has its own attraction - the citadel fortress. Thousands of tourists rise to its observation deck in search of beautiful sea views. There are many cathedrals in the city worthy of attention. Among them - the Church of St. John, the Church of the Holy Trinity.

Fans of museums in Budva should definitely visit the Budva library, modern art gallery and archaeological museum. In these places you can not only get acquainted with the oldest archaeological finds, but also plunge into the world of Montenegrin art.

The Budva Library strikes the imagination of those who visit it for the first time. And there are reasons for that. The fact is that it is located in an old Scandinavian-style fortress. In 1979, the building was damaged during an earthquake, but a couple of years later it was rebuilt and strengthened. At present, the fortress is more like a fairy-tale palace. However, inside it is striking the library interiors themselves, they do not at all match our stereotypes of dusty shelves. The reading room, for example, is a truly luxurious living room with numerous glazed cabinets.

In general, now it is somehow very difficult to imagine that a hundred years ago the whole of Budva was located within the fortress walls. For several centuries, the town was as if in hibernation, its borders did not change. And only in recent decades, the resort has grown and acquired a new look. And in the old district, as before, the same atmosphere reigns, and its inhabitants live in old houses. To feel this spirit, you just need to slowly wander through the quiet streets of Budva.

Sentido Tara 4* (Montenegro): hotel reviews

Speaking about the hotel, I would like to turn to the reviews of tourists who shared their impressions of the rest. Can it be recommended to people planning a vacation in Montenegro? According to tourists, Sentido Tara Hotel 4 * (Montenegro) is a good place for a quiet and relaxing family vacation. If you want to truly relax and forget about all the problems, then you need to come here. Confirmation of the words of tourists is the fact that ninety percent of vacationers are pensioners.

The Sentido Tara Hotel 4 * (Montenegro) has a small territory. Its buildings are located near the sea. Only a paved promenade separates the hotel from the beach. The hotel rooms are spacious and beautiful, with solid furniture and large, comfortable double beds. Very often it is impossible to sleep in hotels, because everyone gets used to their bed and the slightest inconvenience removes sleep as if by hand. But in Sentido Tara Hotel 4 * good beds and a cozy atmosphere set you up for relaxation. The rooms have air conditioners, very well located in the corridors, and not overhead. All plumbing is in good condition. The bathroom has cosmetics and detergents, replenished as needed. The rooms are cleaned every day, no complaints. As for the towels, they are changed regularly, as expected. Unfortunately, beach towels are not provided, if you want to take them, then an extra replacement will cost you money.

The only small downside of the rooms is the french balcony. By the way, in our understanding, this cannot be called a balcony. The door just opens, and there you will find a surprise from the bar for drying clothes. Of course, this is not enough for a seaside resort hotel. However, such balconies are only on the second and third floors of the villas. On the first floor and in the main building there are full balconies.

Hotel Tara 4 * is a beach hotel located on the first line of the Adriatic Sea in a picturesque place in the resort of Budva Becici. A hundred meters from the hotel there is a private sandy beach, the distance to the nearest airport in Tivat is 26 km. Three kilometers away are the Budva water park and the unique resort village of Sveti Stefan, half an hour away is Skadar Lake - a natural landmark of Montenegro. The six-story building of the hotel has 227 comfortable rooms of different levels of comfort. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, central air conditioning, minibar, safe, satellite TV, balcony or terrace, free Wi-Fi access. Recreation is organized according to the principle of all inclusive. The restaurant serves a buffet for breakfast and dinner, while the pool bar and lobby bar serve cocktails and local drinks throughout the day. The infrastructure of the hotel includes a swimming pool with fresh water and a sunbathing terrace, a conference hall for 320 seats, laundry, free parking for cars. For leisure activities, billiards, table tennis, a fitness center, a basketball court, and a mini-golf course are offered. Cozy territory, a wide range of entertainment and services, an equipped beach and excellent service make Hotel Tara the best place for a family holiday on the Budva Riviera.

In the Hotel Tara in the resort of Becici, people usually relax with friends, alone, with family. The most popular months are: july, june, september. Food, service, accommodation are very well appreciated.

8.9 / 10 ONLINE TOURS 8.4 / 10 BOOKING 4.4 / 5 TOPHOTELS

Hi everybody! My review today will be about the Montenegrin hotel TARA 4 *. The hotel itself is located in the village of Becici (near Budva). We were there in August 2017.

We chose the hotel based on numerous reviews in Booking, Tripadvisor, etc. I wanted the hotel itself to be good, with varied food and not far from the sea. At the same time, the price was not very high. It seems that TARA corresponded to everything.

We arrived with the operator Biblio Globus, placed us on the first floor (assuming that the hall is the 0th floor, and there is also the 1st floor).

The hotel is not very big and very interesting inside. All floors are open: there is only one ceiling above the hall.

There are glass partitions in the corridors on the floors.

The room itself is small and not very comfortable, but it had everything you need. This is a bed, a table, two chairs, for some reason only one bedside table, a shoe cabinet, a large closet, a full-length mirror, a TV, a telephone, a small table. True, there was very little space between the bed and the table and it was uncomfortable to walk.

The curtains on the window at first glance seemed to be tight, but alas, the next morning we found that this was not the case. When the sun came up, we woke up every time. It also burned mercilessly and the air conditioner did not save (only in the morning, the rest of the time it worked well).

The room had a French balcony. Before I didn’t know what it meant, it turned out that it was a balcony without a platform, in fact, only 15-20 centimeters and a railing. We knew in advance that there was no normal balcony in the room and did not get upset. If desired, it was still possible to stand on the balcony, as well as hang swimsuits to dry. The window opened a beautiful view of the mountains (however, this is not surprising - there are only mountains and the sea).

The bathroom is relatively spacious. The number of towels corresponded to the star rating of the hotel (I had seen enough of "Revizorro").

Didn't like that the shower didn't close. With intensive washing, a lot of water fell on the floor. Shampoo, as well as shower gel was poured into the dispenser (probably so that guests did not drag bottles from the hotel).

The room was cleaned every day. In order not to do this early in the morning (they broke into us even at 8 am), you need to hang a sign asking "Do Not Disturb". Cleaning was mediocre, toilet paper sometimes forgot to put.

We had breakfasts and dinners (it's cheaper and you don't have to decide where to have dinner). The choice of food was great. For breakfast it is: scrambled eggs, sausages, salads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, cold drinks and coffee / tea. For dinner: meat, fish, poultry, soups, all kinds of side dishes, a corner with local cuisine (prosciutto, olives), a variety of salads, fruits, desserts and cold drinks (something like yupi with different flavors, water and wine - white and red ). At first we ate everything and a lot, but then we became more picky and tried not to overeat at night.

It was no problem to change dinners for lunches. If there was an early excursion, then with a warning at the reception the day before 8 pm, dry rations were issued in the morning (sandwich, pie, banana and a bottle of water).

Near the hotel (directly but at the entrance from the beach side) there is an olive tree, it is indicated that it is as much as 700 years old. Inside the tree is a flashlight with a light.

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, TARA has its own, with free umbrellas and sunbeds. Shore with small pebbles, walking is not very convenient, but tolerable. The snorkelers said that two meters from the shore there is a whole colony of hedgehogs, so for the sake of safety it is better to swim in coral slippers. However, even without them we had quite a good rest and did not meet hedgehogs.

The hotel has a small outdoor pool, we never swam in it (either there were excursions, or the sea is nearby). Animation in the hotel is practically absent: several times we saw children dancing to cheerful music by the pool, that's all (but in the neighboring Iberostar in the evenings music blared or sang karaoke). On the -1st floor there is a table with table tennis (almost always occupied by children) and billiards.

The staff, with rare exceptions, is friendly. Wi-fi caught badly, but we didn’t come to sit on the Internet.

From the hotel it was possible to walk to the Budva embankment in 25 minutes (of which 10 minutes through the tunnel) or to Rafailovici (in the opposite direction).

In general, the hotel made a positive impression. Suitable for a relaxing family holiday with children.

We rested at the Tara hotel in early September. I liked the hotel, the rooms are small, but everything you need is there, yes, indeed, I would like a bigger balcony, but this cannot be changed. We had a side view of the sea, but for those who care about the view, you need to consider that the view from the window can be on neighboring windows and on the wall, especially on the first floors. I would like to thank the maids for the excellent cleaning of the rooms, towels were changed daily, bed linen twice a week, the cleaning was of high quality and at a convenient time for us. And in general, passing through the hotel you constantly see how they rub something and wash it. The interior of the hotel is no frills, the restaurant is on the ground floor, there are no panoramic windows and an open veranda. But we liked the assortment and quality of food, water and wine are included in lunch and dinner, which is rare for Europe. There are indeed queues at dinner, but we are not in a hurry, and standing for a few minutes is not a question for me and not a reason to spoil the mood for myself and others. The restaurant staff is very friendly (however, this can be said about all the hotel staff) they clean the tables very quickly, the administrator constantly walks around the hall and strictly monitors the cleanliness and availability of dishes. The only comment is instant coffee for breakfast, I think the hotel management needs to fix this point. The sea and the beach are also at a height, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, yes, if you come later, the free ones will be away from the sea, but walking a few meters to the sea is not a problem in my opinion. Yes, the beach staff, indeed, occupy several sunbeds, either to friends or rent for money, but since there were always free ones, this did not bother. I really liked the corner under the trees near the pool, where you could move in the heat. Animation in the hotel is practically absent, twice there was live music in the evening and that's it. Once I saw that near the pool a girl (probably an animator) tried to dance with two small children, but somehow it didn’t work out very well, and everyone quickly dispersed. The contingent of vacationers in the hotel is mostly adults and with small children, probably not here, but everyone decides for himself. The location of the hotel with respect to transport accessibility is excellent, by bus you can travel along the entire coast of Montenegro. We took vouchers to Biblio-Globus, the hotel has a representative of the company - Natalia. He tells a lie about excursions, campaigning to buy the most expensive ones, which include food and unnecessary stops, so read the brochure carefully and choose for yourself. Many empty excursions are offered that do not provide any information, such as ride a boat or a jeep and have lunch somewhere, some kind of kindergarten, you might think people have not seen boats and jeeps, although to each his own. The audio guide promised by Natalia was not on one excursion. But this is no longer related to the hotel. In general, the nature of Montenegro is very beautiful, I would like to return to this country again, and I would like to thank the hotel staff for a wonderful holiday and wish you further prosperity.
