Berth of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Gorky (Park of Culture and Leisure): river trips on motor ships in Gorky Park, the schedule of departure of river trams, purchase of electronic tickets at a discount. Berth of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Gorky (Park of Culture and Rest): river walks

The Pushkin pedestrian bridge connecting the Pushkinskaya embankment of the Neskuchny garden with the Frunzenskaya embankment was opened in 2000.

The bridge is famous not only for the neighborhood of the Neskuchny Garden and the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure, but also for its magnificent views from open observation platforms.

However, the bridge itself has a much older history: it was based on the structures of the Andreevsky railway bridge, built in 1905-1907. The bridge was originally designed by L.D. Proskuryakov and A.N. Pomerantsev, and is a monument of engineering art, as indicated by a plate on one of its pillars.

Previously, the bridge stood slightly higher along the river, and was transported to its present place on barges. A similar technology was used during the construction; it is interesting that its "progenitor" - the Krasnoluzhsky railway bridge - was also designed by Proskuryakov and Pomerantsev.

It is noteworthy that the name of the bridge is a very obscure mystery. It is believed that the bridge is officially called Pushkin, but most Muscovites (and, by the way, many maps and reference books, including Yandex and Google maps) are used to calling it an "unofficial" name - Andreevsky pedestrian bridge.

On one of the pillars there is a memorial plaque with the names of the architects and the date of the construction of the Andreevsky railway bridge; perhaps this is where the confusion came from.

Fortunately, this bridge is not alike in everything - there is not a single store, not a single stall inside :)

However, I will move on to the purpose of the story - the types. To begin with - a panorama towards the Sparrow Hills.

Well, now - details :)

In a small cozy "amphitheater" on the pier of the "Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure" on Pushkinskaya Embankment, a copy of the Girl with an Oar, installed in September 2011, is hiding.

Pay attention to the planked area - it is popular with athletes and dancers.

Pushkinskaya Embankment and Neskuchny Garden, behind which rises the building of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and behind the Presidium itself - the natural reserve "Vorobyovy Gory".

Behind the bridge you can see the St. Andrew's Monastery, founded in 1648. The buildings of the monastery, unfortunately, have a later date of construction.

Novoandreevsky railway and road bridges.
This place is notable for the fact that, being the Andreevsky railway, the Pushkin pedestrian bridge stood exactly there :) New bridges were erected after it was moved to its present place; in fact, for their construction and moved it.

Behind the bridge you can see the St. Andrew's Monastery and the natural reserve "Vorobyovy Gory".

Frunzenskaya embankment is famous for its wonderful architectural landscape. Most of the houses standing by the river were built in the 30-50s of the 20th century, and this is precisely why the embankment has earned my love. If it were not for the billboards sticking out at every step and obscene store signs, this would be practically an exemplary Soviet street :)

The spire of the main building of Moscow State University looks out from behind the houses.

And now - a view towards the Crimean bridge, the Gorky Central Park and the Kremlin :)
By the way, it resembles the view from, but much closer and more interesting.

This is not visible in the panorama, but if you look to the left, you can see the Moscow-City MIBC.

Frunzenskaya embankment, 22 - The main headquarters of the Russian ground forces. The building was built from 1940 to 1951 according to the project of the architect L.V. Rudnev.

Hidden behind the huge building is an equally huge, but much more distant building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

But the Ostankino TV tower did not manage to hide - you can see it perfectly from here. Even the Russian flag erected on its top is visible - albeit not in color.

And here is the famous Crimean Bridge, behind which is hidden a number of no less famous attractions.

When carrying out reconstruction work on one of the sections of the small ring of the Moscow ring railway, the builders faced a problem. On their way was the century-old Andreevsky Bridge, erected at the beginning of the last century. The city authorities made a difficult decision: to preserve the structure, however, after removing it from the supports, move it downstream, equipping the bridge with new supports. The structure, which is a monument of engineering and architectural art, has acquired a second life: its main arch has become the decoration of the new bridge.

History

The best bridge-building engineers of that time worked on the most complicated design solution of the Andreevsky Bridge: L. D. Proskuryakov and P. Ya. Kamentsev. The architectural project belonged to the famous Russian architect A.N. Pomerantsev.

The arched topsides of the bridge span structures were about 135 meters long. They rested on four pillars, which were faced with granite. Two of them, namely the coastal pillars, were decorated with towers and equipped with bypass metal galleries. At the beginning of the last century, barge haulers were moving along them, pulling ships and loaded barges along the Moscow River. Structures for the Andreevsky bridge were made of cast steel on rivets in the shops of the Kamsko-Votkinsk plant.

Over its entire operational life, the bridge was repaired many times, but the time turned out to be ruthless: the load-bearing beams, rivets and other metal elements corroded. The condition of the structure forced to reduce the speed of traffic, and besides, the old bridge did not make it possible to electrify the railway.

The new pedestrian bridge, in the construction of which the structures of the old Andreevsky were used, connected two embankments: Pushkinskaya and Frunzenskaya. Since the width of the river is wider at the site of its construction, the designers have provided for a remote channel support. The main arch of the old bridge, which weighed about one and a half thousand tons, was transported to the new site by three barges. By that time, there was already invaluable experience of such movement during the construction of the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Bridge.

The whole complex of construction and installation works took about 11 months, and the Pushkin Bridge was put into operation in 2000.

Pushkin or Andreevsky?

The new bridge was named after the Pushkinskaya embankment, which in turn bore several names. Until the 1920s, it was called Andreevskaya, then it was renamed Neskuchnaya, and in 1937, in connection with the centenary of the death of the Great Pushkin, it began to bear the name of the poet. Nevertheless, even on many maps of the city and in reference books, the bridge is listed as Andreevsky. And when entering it from the side of Pushkinskaya embankment, you can see a tablet telling about the history of the Andreevsky bridge, which has become an integral part of the new bridge crossing.

The pedestrian bridge connecting the Frunzenskaya and Pushkinskaya embankments of Moscow was put into operation in 1999. It is officially called Pushkinskiy, but everywhere, including on maps, it is called Andreevskiy. There is a reason for this confusion - a cast plate is fixed at the entrance to it, announcing that the steel structure of the old Andreevsky Bridge has been moved here from the route of the Small Ring of the railway. At the same place, the Novoandreevsky bridge was built with a much higher capacity. Traffic jams have decreased, and Moscow has been enriched with a beautiful attraction.

Andreevsky bridge today

The height of the bridge above the water level is 24 m, plus the height of the arch is 8.5 m. The steel structure and the towers are more than a century old, but the piers have been built in our time. Walkways along the forged railings are preserved on both sides. The middle part, where the rails used to run, is covered by a transparent tunnel with several doors along its entire length. It is convenient to hide inside in bad weather, but people walk more in the open space, where a fresh river breeze blows.

The main feature of the Andreevsky Bridge is its arched spans at the height of a 10-storey building. The width of the supporting structure is almost 2 m, it is studded with many rivets, so the risk of slipping for extreme sports is insignificant. In summer, young people are constantly sitting at the very top, swinging their legs in the void, listening to music and admiring the surrounding panorama. During rush hours, there is even a line of people who want to get adrenaline downstairs. They say that the most difficult thing is to miss those who are walking towards you.

An amateur ride on Andreevsky Bridge is very dangerous. There is a fairly wide gap between the arch and the tunnel, falling through which you will have to fly to the water. But a fall on the parapet is no better, at least it will end with many months of treatment for fractures and subsequent disability. Surprisingly, most of the "arkogo" - girls, it happens even in heels.

In the evening, the lights turn on, and the Andreevsky Bridge shines like a jewel. Even at this time, someone is sure to hang out on the arch. You should not be like adrenalin addicts, it is better to just enjoy a warm summer evening and a magnificent spectacle, without endangering your life and health.

Practical information

How to get there: to the station. metro "Oktyabrskaya", "Park Kultury" or "Leninsky Prospekt", from there on foot 1 km. From the side of Frunzenskaya emb. by bus No. t79 to the stop. "1st Frunzenskaya Street".

With the arrival of warmth, the guards in Gorky Park start having a headache - not because the sun is hot, but because teenagers from 12 to 16 years old are storming the Andreevsky Bridge, which connects Gorky Park with Frunzenskaya Embankment.

Youth in the city - a devil in the rib ... What to do with teenage extremists

"Don't hinder us from living our lives"

For several years now, Muscovites and guests of the capital have been watching the painting "Sparrows on the Arch". Someone walks by indifferently, uttering the legendary phrase of Sergei Lavrov, and someone heartbreaking: "Where are the police looking?" The kids climb onto the metal semicircular structure of the bridge, hang their legs down and take a selfie. And this is the cutest option. Others begin to run, shoot extreme videos, throw cigarette butts and bottles at passengers of motor ships.

- Look how many there are. Is this allowed? - I'll ask a friend of Zhenya.

Definitely not, he says.

Come closer. Entrance to the Andreevsky Bridge, official sign. Inside there is a small hall, an open door to the basement. And the elevator, on which the contact numbers of GBU Gormost. I'm calling.

Is it allowed to climb the bridge? I mean, on a semicircular structure - I'll ask the dispatcher.

Are you out of your mind? As these ... the police have already gone after them - they have called, - the employee is indignant.

- Are they often there?

They are not there only in winter and during rains, and spring-summer is a season, they come as an attraction.

The guards of the Andreevsky Bridge also talk about frequent guests. They say that they have no authority to pull them out of there. And they don't understand the warning.

We tell them that it is dangerous. We give examples that for some these show-off ends tragically. A month ago, the guy fell, - says the guard Andrei Muravyov.

- And what are they? - I ask.

And they still climb. At night they drink there, and then the syringes are lying around.

The metal arches have bulging details for teenagers to climb. And guest workers climb for spectacular photos. The height is about eight meters, and the width of the arch is a little less than a meter - two of us do not part. It is necessary to fence, block the passages to them. Not only I was thinking about it. They even made a metal fence, only it is so low that any schoolboy can jump over it.

Why go up here, I've already sat here a thousand times, - Masha, about 14 years old, will proudly say.

Then there was profanity during her conversation with her friends. The teenagers were not embarrassed by the remarks of passers-by. Not that I don't see girls with green hair, fringed buttocks, tattoos and beer bottles. With them were guys in hooded jeans. But you tell them: "Children, be careful," and they: "Don't bother us to live our own lives." And worse - there is a mother of about 20, and with her a son of about five. He says to her: "I want to go upstairs", and she tells him: "Only carefully." Taking pictures. Then, as it seemed to us, she settled down and said to him: “Vladik, stop. Do not move. Now I will rise to you. " We took a little more breath here, how will she take it off? And my mother sat down next to her and began to take a selfie with her son. In the same place, teenagers kiss passionately as if they are alone here. The movement is crazy, everyone is in some kind of euphoria.

The police still did not go. As the guards say, they now come every other time or only when drunk and adults climb onto the roof. They say, still catch the kids, yes, and you can't even write out a ridiculous fine of 100 rubles - you need the names of the parents, but they don't say. I called again at the Gormost State Budgetary Institution to ask when the police would arrive.

Must come. We call the outfit several times a day. But everything is the same: the police arrived - the children scatter, only the police leave - they again climb onto the bridge, - they say at the Gormost State Budgetary Institution.

Death race

Young people today like to be extreme. Another bridge in Gorky Park is the Crimean Bridge. It would seem that you cannot climb it. But there are attempts. And with fatalities. Usually, teenagers come to rescue with a fire escape. So in the winter of 2016, after the persuasion of the Emergencies Ministry employees, the extreme went down from the bridge on his own.

The older public likes to sit on the Patriarch Bridge - in the part where the drainage canal is. People sit right on wide granite parapets, without fear, throwing their legs, feeling weightlessness. Some go on dates there, some eat pizza. From the outside, it looks like the pursuit of a better life. Someone below is sailing on a motor ship, orders an expensive dinner, and they are no less cool - they look at life from a different angle.

What drives you, drive? Young people want to be special, to be higher than others, they pick up fashion in the style of Urbex (Urban Exploration - English city exploration) - photographs in this format are increasingly taken by bloggers. On the edge, so to speak. And then someone climbs onto the roof of the Kudrinskaya skyscraper or GUM, goes to abandoned factories such as ZIL. The towers "Moscow-City" are an important object of conquest. It is more difficult to get there because of the multi-stage security system, but this is even more of that drive.

Someone likes to jump with a parachute, climbing on the roofs of high-rise buildings, and someone - climbing on the cabins and roofs of electric trains. Although warnings from the metro and Moscow Railways appear repeatedly. “With anyone, but not with me,” hookers usually say. The other day, the 18-year-old boy, doctors could not save. The body of a young man was found at the Solnechnaya station of the Kiev direction of the Moscow Railway. The guy climbed onto the roof of the train with the message "Moscow - Maloyaroslavets", where he received an electric shock. And this is not the first case, this year 11 children have already died, 5 more were injured.

On the eve of the summer school holidays, we will carry out extensive information and explanatory work with children aimed at creating a culture of safe behavior and reducing the level of non-work injuries. A special emphasis will be placed on "hooks" and "roofers", which, in pursuit of thrilling impressions, climb onto rooftops and automatic couplings of trains, railway bridges, which, unfortunately, leads to tragic consequences, - say the press service of the Moscow Railways.

EXPERT OPINION

Alexander Karabanov, attorney:

If children are under 16 years old, then only relatives can be brought to administrative responsibility. So far, there is only article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors to maintain and educate minors." What is the threat to parents? A warning or an administrative fine ranging from 100 to 500 rubles. From practice, adult roofers are attracted for "petty hooliganism", for which a fine of 500 rubles is imposed, and the parents of hookers are fined 100 rubles.

Andreevsky Bridge near Gorky Park in recent years has become one of the most popular places among Moscow youth and guests of the capital, however, in addition to fans of spectacular views of the city, this place also attracts drinkers and aggressive young people from the regions. Local residents complain that the complete lack of control over this bridge has caused the problem to spread to the entire area.

As noted "MBH Media" , Muscovites have already accumulated many stories that suggest that the situation on the Andreevsky Bridge is unhealthy. At the same time, the management of Gorky Park does nothing about this, and the Moscow authorities turn a blind eye to what is happening.

The bridge is a glass "greenhouse" 130 meters long. Inside the "greenhouse" there are three dirty yellow security booths. The covered part of the bridge is not crowded: most people climb over the fence and climb the arch. Nobody pays attention to the numerous prohibition signs.

The journalist witnessed how the guard of the bridge jumped on the arch and began to climb to the violators, approached the young girls and asked them for a cigarette. Having lit a cigarette, the chop man sat down next to them, his legs dangling carelessly. The second security guard, of retirement age, was drinking vodka with a friend right at the booth.

According to one of the guards on the Andreevsky Bridge, they periodically call the police. The law enforcement officers come once or twice a day, take one of them for order, and leave the rest alone. If something serious has happened, law enforcement officers are still in no hurry to the Andreevsky Bridge: by their arrival, all the hooligans have already fled. The guards admitted that fights are taking place there regularly, but "you can't keep track of everyone."

The Gormost State Budgetary Institution is responsible for hiring the chop officers, but there they could not promptly comment on what was happening. The administration of Gorky Park first of all stressed that they were not responsible for the events on the bridge.

Local residents complain in Facebook that this problem has already spread to the entire surrounding area. "Now it's not just unpleasant to walk (mate, screams), but it's really scary. At 8 pm I don't risk releasing my 16-year-old girlfriend," said the Muscovite. One of the townspeople noted that it all started after the reconstruction of Gorky Park: "Before that, they were drinking inside. Now they are drinking on the bridge and nearby squares. The bridge should be transferred to the Park of Culture so that their private security company would stand there."

One of the most high-profile incidents on this bridge was the recent case of a young native of Dagestan, a medical student Amir Abumuslimov who fell into a coma after meeting a group of cocky and aggressive youth. Hooligans hit the young man on the head, and by the time the law enforcement officers appeared, they disappeared. The police, however, were in no hurry to pursue the perpetrators, and a criminal case was opened only after the victim's parents arrived in Moscow from Dagestan.
