Booking of plane tickets to Crimea. Flights to Crimea

Updated 07.06. Author Oleg Lazhechnikov Views 175 Comments 2

I already wrote a detailed post about all the options, where I mentioned the planes. It makes sense to dwell on this in a little more detail.

At the moment, there are 4 airports in Crimea, but only one of which is operating - the international airport of Simferopol. Therefore, you will arrive there.

How much does it cost to fly to Crimea

The easiest way to fly to Crimea is from Moscow, and all of the airlines listed below have flights to Simferopol. The average price for a round-trip flight is about 5-15 thousand rubles, depending on the season. The cost increases closer to the season, so you need to monitor prices and buy tickets in advance if you want to save money.

There is also an observation that air tickets to Crimea are sold at a good price about 4 days before departure.

Alternatively, fly back and forth with different airlines by purchasing separate tickets. This was the last time I did it. To Simferopol Nord Wind, and back Ural Airlines. So maybe the flight price is lower, or the time is more convenient.

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) compiles a list of flights that are subsidized every summer. Tickets are on sale from April to October. But the problem is that discount air tickets at a fixed rate are bought up instantly, that is, literally a few days after the start of sales.

Which airline to fly to Crimea

As you know, as a result of the transition of Crimea to the Russian Federation, sanctions were introduced, one of which was the termination of international flights over the territory of the Crimean Peninsula. But tourists still arrive in Crimea - just with a change, and only on the planes of Russian airlines.

Regular flights to Crimea are operated by airlines: Aeroflot and Russia, Ural Airlines, Nord Wind, Red Wings, Alrosa, Yakutia Airlines, Smartavia (formerly Nordavia), IrAero, Azimut. In fact, flights are carried out from all major cities of Russia.

Airline Pobeda, as far as I know, does not plan to fly to Crimea yet.

In the season, it can be problematic to buy a ticket for a direct route (only expensive fares remain). Therefore, passengers have to change trains in Moscow. Of course, this affects the ticket price: a ticket from remote regions of Russia can cost a couple of tens of thousands of rubles. Does it make sense to spend that kind of money? I do not know…

How to get from Simferopol airport

From the airport to Simferopol

Simferopol airport is located outside the city (12 km to the center). You can get to the center of Simferopol by public transport in 30-40 minutes. The bus stop is located near the airport and from there trolley buses (No. 9), as well as buses and minibuses (No. 49, 49A, 98, 115 and 117) go. Routes of buses No. 49, 98 and 115 will take you to the railway station and the Kurortnaya bus station - from where most of the flights to the resort area of \u200b\u200bCrimea are carried out. By bus number 49 you can get to the Central Bus Station of the city.

The fare on a trolleybus is 7 rubles, on a bus and a fixed-route taxi - 10 rubles.

Airport to resort

At the airport you can take a taxi to any of the bus stations in Simferopol or directly to your destination, to the sea. Taxi prices in Simferopol are within 20 rubles / km. A taxi from Simferopol airport to Evpatoria will cost you about 1600 rubles, to Feodosia - 3200 rubles, to Yalta - 2600 rubles.

So, you are at the Simferopol airport. Where to go next?

You can go to almost any resort town of Crimea from the Kurortnaya bus station, located near the railway station. You can get there by the 98th and 115th bus routes. You can, without hesitation, go straight to it. From the Kurortnaya bus station you can go to the Eastern coast of Crimea (to Feodosia, Koktebel, Kerch, Ordzhonikidze), to the West coast (to Evpatoria, Chernomorskoe, Saki) and to the South coast (to Yalta, Alushta, Sudak, Simeiz, etc.) .) and, of course, to the hero city of Sevastopol.

Trolleybuses No. 51 (to Alushta) and No. 52 (to Yalta) also run regularly from this bus station. If you want to go by trolleybus, then you will have the opportunity to drive the longest intercity trolleybus route in the world (it is 84 km to Yalta). In two hours of travel, you can safely admire the delightful landscapes of the Crimean mountains and picturesque valleys.

From the Central Bus Station of Simferopol, you can also go to most of the resort towns of Crimea, however, such flights are much less frequent here, since this bus station is intended, first of all, for the departure of long-distance buses - to mainland Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The Central Bus Station can be reached from the airport by routes 49 and 49A. And from the bus station "Vostochnaya" buses go exclusively to that part of the Crimea, where there are no resort areas.

  1. It is best to purchase air tickets at least 2 months before the flight, in this case the savings can be up to -39%. Further, the cost grows and reaches its peak two weeks before departure.
  2. The price can vary up to 96% depending on the availability and size of baggage, day of the week and time of day at which the plane flies.
  3. Mid-week morning flights are cheaper than Friday nights and weekends.
  4. Air tickets to both sides are on average -24% cheaper than buying two tickets separately.
  5. In the low season, airlines and travel agencies often sell discounted and last-minute tickets, hold various promotions and sales.
  6. In high season it is possible to book tickets not only for regular, but also for charter flights in a general package with a vacation ticket. Tickets for such flights can be booked much cheaper than usual.
  7. The lowest prices are December, January and February.
  8. The most expensive months are August, June, July.
  9. The average cost of air tickets Moscow - Simferopol (Crimea) is 917 RUR.

Crimea is a source of inspiration

It is very difficult to meet a person who does not admire Crimea. Since ancient times, the Crimean nature has attracted writers and poets. She became a source of inspiration for them. The great poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, for example, believed that Gurzuf was the most beautiful place he visited.

The first name of the Crimean peninsula is Taurida. It has been entrenched in the peninsula since ancient times. After the XIII century, the peninsula received its modern name - Crimea.

Crimea is located in the south of Russia and is washed by two seas: the Black and the Azov. Crimea is connected to the continent in the north. Scientists have proven that people first appeared on the peninsula in the Stone Age.

Climate and sea temperature

Crimea occupies a small area, but has a varied climate. The Crimean peninsula is located in three climatic zones: temperate, moderate continental and subtropical. Features of a subtropical climate - in the south of Crimea.

In summer (mid-July) the daytime air temperature reaches + 35… + 37 ° C in the shade, at night up to + 23… + 25 ° C. The climate is predominantly dry, with seasonal dry winds prevailing.

The Black Sea warms up to + 25 ° C in summer. Sea of \u200b\u200bAzov up to + 27 ... + 28

The uniqueness of Crimea

There are 257 rivers flowing in Crimea, which is quite a lot for such a territory.

The largest population is in Sevastopol. The second place in terms of population density is occupied by the capital of Crimea - Simferopol. In third place is the hero city of Kerch.

All cities of Crimea are connected by bus routes. There is no difficulty in getting to another settlement. Trolleybus lines run between some cities. In addition, there are also sea routes and railway lines.

In the city of Kerch there is a ferry crossing through the Kerch Strait. Thanks to this crossing, communication is established between Russia and the Crimean peninsula.

Crimea is a multinational region, home to a large number of cultures. People of different nationalities live here: Slavic peoples, Greeks, Romans, Tatars, Armenians, Bulgarians.

In the 19th century, the development of the Crimean Peninsula as a resort area began. Thanks to the development of transport links, the inhabitants of the Russian Empire were able to relax in the Crimea. The Crimean peninsula was called a health resort, since people came here to sanatoriums.

After 1991, the situation changed. Tourists began to give preference to relaxing by the sea on the beach. Sanatoriums have become less popular.

Crimean years and wooded areas are under protection. A large number of nature reserves have been created.

Mountain tourism is developed in Crimea.

  • Pay attention to suggestions budget airlines... It is from their sites that you should start your search for cheap flights to Crimea in 2020. However, one must remember that sometimes they are "cunning" by offering the choice of a seat in the cabin, luggage transportation, meals on board as additional services and charging a separate fee for them. Study the offer carefully - then you will not go wrong.
  • A good alternative to independently searching for air tickets to Crimea from Moscow or another city in Russia would be to use a special search site - for example, the one already mentioned above Aviasales... is he will collect offers from all airlines and agencies according to the given parameters, will compare them and give out the cheapest offer. Moreover, you will not be charged an additional commission: the payment of the commission is undertaken by agencies or airlines.
  • Search charter flights... They usually offer very favorable rates. However, be prepared for several disadvantages of such air travel: possible change in departure time, low level of service, inability to buy plane tickets in advance.
  • Buy air tickets to Crimea in 2020 as early as possible... As soon as you decide on your vacation dates, start your search immediately. True, you will have to take into account the costs of a taxi or come to terms with the need to wait for the first morning bus - at night you will not be able to leave the airport in Simferopol by public transport.
  • If you don't have a specific date binding try compare flight prices for neighboring days... It often happens that they cost significantly less. The cheapest flights to Crimea in 2020 are offered in the middle of the week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. And the most expensive - on Friday or any day before the holidays.
  • If you know that tickets for the flight you want will start selling on a certain date, do not postpone the purchase... Thanks to the Internet, you can buy air tickets to Crimea both at night and in the early morning. Moreover, on some sites at such an "unpopular" time, they are also cheaper.

Buying plane tickets over the Internet is no longer surprising. It is fast, convenient, allows you to find the best deal in terms of time and price, and not to be crowded in a kilometer-long queue for registration.

Nevertheless, friends or relatives are constantly asking me to help them buy a plane ticket. While this simple operation does not cause difficulties for the younger generation, older people who are accustomed to paper tickets do not quite understand how to buy a plane ticket via the Internet.
In this article, I will tell you about my personal shopping experience, which I have quite extensive, and also give detailed instructions with screenshots and examples of how to independently purchase a plane ticket on the Internet in any direction. This guide is written for people who find it difficult to purchase on their own. Therefore, if you have already repeatedly used the services of ticket aggregators, you can safely go to and start your search, I will not write anything new for you here.

Let's start with the basics. The search for suitable tickets takes place on the service aggregator site, which collects a common database for all airlines and all ticket sellers. It is very convenient because you can see all the offers in your direction at once, compare prices and find a seller with the best price.
There are many aggregator sites, but I recommend using only two: skyskaner.ru and aviasales.ru. These are the most popular, moreover, personally and repeatedly verified sites, on which only reliable sellers are represented.

Three simple rules for buying plane tickets

Rule one: plan ahead

If you are going to fly to Crimea or in any southern direction, as well as to European countries in the summer, then the search for tickets should start in March. Unlike tours, early booking here is not only more profitable, but also sometimes necessary. The southern direction is overloaded in summer and, despite the summer schedule and additional flights, tickets are sold out instantly. Therefore, here you have two options: buy a cheap ticket in advance or buy for the next seat 3 times more expensive, but later.
Yes, it happens in the summer, last minute deals are fired, much more profitable than earlier booking. But for this you need to have free time, sit and check the aggregator site every day, break loose and fly away quickly if something happens ... In general, this is an option for those who do not have a job and a strictly limited vacation.

How are things going in winter? Yes, exactly the same. The only difference is that in winter there are practically no direct flights to the south and you have to fly with a transfer via Moscow. Let's say that to fly from Murmansk to Simferopol, right tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, you have to pay this much:

And to do it in a week or two, so much:

So the first rule of bargaining is: Plan your flight ahead of time. If your vacation is in July, start looking for tickets in March-April.

Of course, it is much more convenient to fly with a direct flight than with a transfer via Moscow. But sometimes it turns out that the difference in price is 2-3 times greater. Let's say in July a flight directly cost me almost 50 thousand for 4 people, and a flight through Moscow about 20 thousand for 4 people.
Moreover, the difference between flights was only 1 hour and 20 minutes. That is, we practically got off one plane and immediately got into another.
The only inconvenience is two takeoffs and two landings. And also there may be different inconsistencies with the delay and cancellation of flights. But in this case, these are not your problems, tk. the airline is obliged to put you on the next flight on which there will be free seats or to solve your problems in some other way without any additional payments on your part.

The second rule of buying tickets at a bargain: consider all options for flights to your chosen destination, including transfers.

Rule three: departure date

Each airline has its own schedule, and there are probably only daily flights to Simferopol from Moscow and a couple of other large cities. From all other cities, each airline flies a maximum of 2 times a week. Let's say an Aeroflot flight flies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a Ural Airlines flight on Mondays and Fridays.
Choosing a flight on Wednesday, you may not find direct flights at all. Although they are.

Rule three: Check at least 4 days before and 4 days after your desired departure date.

Why exactly 4 days, and not 3 not 5? I just deduced this figure experimentally, researching aggregators to find the most profitable tickets. All airlines fall into this range, and each of them makes at least 1 flight.
And since all airlines have different prices, you will have the opportunity to compare them and find the best deal.

Search for plane tickets over the Internet. Step-by-step instruction

Now we proceed directly to the search for tickets. I will show you the whole process using the example of the website aviasales.ru. So, go to the aggregator site (the exact same search form is at the very end of this article). And we enter the data into the search form:

  • Departure city
  • Arrival city
  • departure date
  • Number of persons

Let's say I contributed Yekaterinburg - Simferopol, April 30, 1 person.
I am shown the cheapest ticket 8575 rubles, with a stopover in Moscow, the difference between flights is 6 hours. The entire flight takes 11 hours and 10 minutes. Not a very good option, given that a flight directly from Yekaterinburg to Simferopol takes a little over 3 hours.

We continue our search. Immediately below the search form, there is a timeline with ticket prices for a specific date. Here you can immediately see that we have chosen an unsuccessful flight date and the next day there is a clear drop in price.

Here is a good date: May 1, the ticket price will be 7735 rubles. Let's check the flight conditions. Let's make a new search with the same conditions, but on May 1.

The variant turned out to be even better. The flight is via Moscow, but the whole flight will take 7 hours 15 minutes, and wait in Moscow will take only 2 hours.

We continue to search by dates before and after the desired departure date until we find the best option.

At the time of this writing, the summer schedule has not yet been posted on the aggregator site. Therefore, on the screenshots, everything is viewed through Moscow. In March, this schedule will already be available, and you can buy tickets for direct flights as well.

Ticketing

After you have decided on the date of departure, we start issuing a ticket. In the table you see several offers for the date you selected.
They differ in the carrier, departure time, transfer time and price. If you see two completely identical offers and cannot find the difference, then this is the same flight, just the ticket sellers are different. Since the site aviasales.ru accumulates many offers from different sellers, such situations are not uncommon.

So, we select the offer we need and click "Buy a ticket".
After that, you are redirected directly to the booking form on the seller's website.

We fill in the form very carefully. The data must be entered exactly as they are indicated in your passport. Some airlines ask to fill in Russian letters, some immediately in Latin. This is usually indicated in the tips on the booking form.

Click "Continue" and go to the form for entering passport data.

If you do not know how to fill in these fields correctly, click on the "?" and see the tooltips.

Here you can also choose additional options and health insurance. Of all the additional options offered, I usually only take insurance. Everything else is an unnecessary increase in the cost of the ticket, but you can choose the option of refunding the ticket, choosing a seat in the cabin, or some other perks if you wish, if you think that you really need it.

Here you will be offered 3 options: payment by credit card, cash in Svyaznoy and Euroset stores, payment by installments.
The most advantageous option is to pay by credit card. In this case, you pay only the cost of tickets. When paying through salons, you will be charged a small% for the transfer, when paying in installments, the% will be large.

Remember that the reservation is valid for a certain time (usually it is 23 hours), after which it will be canceled. Therefore, if you have chosen the cash payment option, try to meet this time in order to avoid annoying misunderstandings.

So, payment by credit card:

In the left window we carefully rewrite the data from our card, with the right we enter the CVC code located on the back of the card. Presses the button to pay for the order. After that, in the form that appears, enter the confirmation code, which will come in SMS to your phone.

Payment through Svyaznoy and Euroset salons:
1. Select the payment method “Cash in Svyaznoy and Euroset stores”. Please note that the payment amount will be higher.

2. Click continue purchase

3. Make a note of the payment code (it will also come to the phone and e-mail indicated when booking tickets).

4. Inform the operator in the salon that you want to pay for the ticket and give your code.
5. After payment, be sure to keep your receipt.

That's all! Your tickets have been issued. You will receive them to the box specified during the ticketing process as soon as the seller receives payment from you. If you paid by credit card, you can check your e-mail, the tickets are already there.

You can print tickets if you wish, but this is not required. When checking in for a flight, you only need to present a passport or a birth certificate if a minor child is flying with you.

check-in

Boarding is carried out using a boarding pass, which will be issued to you upon check-in. Today most airlines provide online check-in service.
Check-in starts 24 hours and ends 40 minutes before departure. These are average data, they may differ for different airlines, so it is better to check them in advance on the AK website or by calling the hotline.

I strongly recommend that you use the online check-in for your flight, for the following reasons:
1.you do not have to arrive at the airport 2 - 3 hours before departure, because you will already have a boarding pass
2.Luggage is usually checked in at a separate counter, you do not need to stand in a general queue (this is not the case everywhere, check at the airport)
3. If you are traveling with a small child, then many airlines provide a free seat selection service. In particular, AK S7, whose ticket we have issued today, gives such an opportunity. During check-in, the most convenient seats for passengers with children will be marked with special badges. Think well, where will it be more comfortable for you to sit: by the window, or better by the aisle, so that the child can walk around the cabin without disturbing anyone?
4. This service is used by many. Therefore, those who decide to check in at the airport usually get the worst seats: in the tail, near the toilet or the last row, where the back of the chair does not recline.

So, here are the instructions for online self check-in for your flight:

Find out in advance the address of the airline's website and read the conditions of online registration.

On the day of registration, go to the airline's website, go to the Online check-in page and enter your name and ticket number in the form.

Next, you will be asked to choose a seat in the cabin (paid or free, depending on the conditions of the carrier). If you do not want to pay extra for choosing a seat, then you cannot change it. After that we press the button "Register".

Boarding passes will be sent to you by e-mail, specified during ordering.

Boarding passes, unlike tickets, must be printed out. Some airports have special terminals for printing boarding passes, and some do not yet. Therefore, it is better not to risk it and print them in advance.

Now that's exactly it! We bought tickets and checked in for the flight. It remains only to collect things and arrive at the airport on time. I hope this simple instruction will help you understand the process of buying tickets over the Internet, not only in Crimea, but all over the world. Fly with pleasure!
