The hotel is certainly not "Chic", but quite decent. The staff is trying. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Everything is there: several kinds of meat, fish, olives, vegetables, fruits. Poolside rooms can be noisy from running water. We got building 45, it is at the very end, far from the pool and overlooking the sea. We went to the beach behind the port, swimming at the end of November every day.

The hotel is fully consistent with the declared level and price. The food is excellent, varied and fresh. In the morning, at breakfast, you can make yourself freshly squeezed orange juice (but only in the summer - until November). The water park is the best in the area. Small in size, but with children more than suitable. We were at the end of the season (late October - early November), the water, of course, is cooler than in the sea, but still, with a 6-year-old child, we calmly rode down the hills and swam along the "lazy" river. All day in the bars various drinks and ice cream. There are many animators, children were entertained during the day (but only until November, then only one animator before the start of the season). We liked the way the rooms were cleaned, the linen was changed every other day or two. The only thing is, do not forget to throw towels on the floor, otherwise they will not change them for clean ones (at first I forgot to leave them on the floor and had to run to the reception for fresh ones). The hotel is well located - behind the fence is a local amusement park, in the center. Although the beach is not nearby, it was absolutely not annoying to walk to the beach for 10-15 minutes with a calm step along the embankment))) The staff is very good - friendly and helpful)). We arrived for one term, as a result, we extended our stay by another week. And if the opportunity arises, I will gladly stay in this hotel again!

But this is not the case for Cyprus.

Simply excellent accommodation, fed incredibly tasty and very often, it is simply impossible to stay without food, there are few vacationers near the pool, they changed linen and cleaned the room almost every day, delicious alcoholic cocktails, very friendly staff, they try to help and suggest in different situations. For 7 days it never rained, only very warm weather and a very rich fruity-floral smell in the air... Cyprus is a divine place in the mix with this hotel, but only in season!

The hotel and its territory are more reminiscent of 3 *, rather than the declared 4 *: it's time to change the sun loungers (some of them are torn or squashed), some of the umbrellas are also shabby, the rooms are modest, there are no double beds, they connect 2 single beds, but they are moving apart.

The hotel is located right in the city center, near Luna Park (amusement park), various shops and cafes, the port of Ayia Napa is a 10-minute walk, nightclubs are a 10-minute walk, the beach is 15 minutes on foot, you need to drive to Nissi beach: by car 5 minutes, I don’t tell you, I didn’t use public transport. Good buffet with everything! Even pasta with mussels and king prawns and freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. I didn’t like the all-inclusive drinks: tasteless, as if diluted juices, only three non-alcoholic cocktails against, probably, 20 alcoholic ones, which are also so-so. The hotel has 3 swimming pools: 1 large with a gentle entrance, 1 for children and 1 shallow with a net for ball games. The hotel also has a small but real water park with different slides: for both the smallest and adults, there is even a wave pool. There is daily animation near the pool and evening from 21:00.

We stayed in a standard double room. The door to the bathroom did not close, apparently it was warped. The drain in the shower did not work well, as a result, the water poured out of the bathroom - they cleaned it only from the second request. During the rain, we lived on the second floor, because of the uneven threshold, there was a flood in the room, everything merged from the street to us. When contacting the reception, in the evening, they said that there was no staff for cleaning and handed towels to clean everything ourselves. When asked about the elimination of the problem itself, they answered: "Here, when it rains, it floods at home." That is, they did not intend to solve the problem. The air conditioner also did not work, we applied for repairs to the reception 3 times, so no one came to fix it, it turned out that the batteries were dead, which we changed ourselves. The fact is that in March it is still quite cool at night, and air conditioning is the only means of heating, as a result, for 3 nights we were damp like in a swamp. The toilet seat in the toilet hung on one bolt, but I didn’t have the strength to go and take it apart with this problem.

Check-in within ten minutes, however, they noticed us at the reception desk not immediately. The two girls were talking to each other very enthusiastically. Everything in the room, as written in the reviews, due to winter, cleaning was not included in the list of services. Towels - thanks, changed. The food was good, no questions, everything is as in the reviews, but we will not return to this hotel.

The feeling that the staff at the reception in cahoots with the taxi. Background: they take the passport at check-in and say that they will give it back at check-out. So they won't give it to you unless you ask for it. What we forgot about, because our passports had never been taken away from us before. It turned out at the airport, we call the hotel, they say in a completely indifferent tone that they have passports. To my complaint that they promised to return, they answered, no, you yourself have to ask. Amazing. I called a taxi, gave him my passports, we had to give 50 euros to the taxi driver. Great scheme. The man who took us all the way to the airport said that this is very common here, there are taxis that earn only on passports. The food is average. We flew with a baby 1.3, there was almost always nothing to feed. For breakfast, their yogurt (stopped eating after a few days), for dinner you can’t find anything at all. The room was cold and the thermostat was on all the time. Nowhere to dry clothes, had to hang on the sides of the crib. Didn't hear the neighbors, slept great.

We had "all inclusive", there are no queues, but it's better for dinner later by seven, because the tables are all occupied earlier, those who have breakfast, dinner, are hungry. Those who have breakfast, dinner, drinks are not included, but people easily bring their juices, no one said a word to them. It is better to buy green tea, the hotel is very mediocre, they give normal beer, the rest of the alcohol is also nothing. The pool water is refreshing in mid-November, hardly anyone swam. The sea was fresh 22-24, but everyone swam if it was sunny. The beach is to the right at a quick pace of 15 minutes, but it is small, well, to the left behind the port for about 20 minutes with a child, but it is large and without stones, it is good there. It's fun to feed the fish with bread in the port. Sunbeds for rent 2.5 euros per day. Beach towels for a deposit and for rent, every day a certain amount is written off from the deposit. In short, we went with the whites from the room. In the evening, some kind of animation, have never been. Children's disco at 20:00. There was a kettle in the family room. Sockets with a triple plug, they say, they give an adapter at the reception on bail, but we had our own. The territory is small, but everyone walks along the sea, there is an excellent path for many kilometers. There is a bicycle rental. Rent an electric scooter with a seat in the city 10 euros for 2 hours, but did not take it. There are cafes and shops in the city, although almost everything is closed, but enough, the average price of a meal in a cafe is 15-20 euros.

On the second day, dirty towels were removed from the floor, new ones were not given. Maybe this is the norm for tours, the first experience. The food is also dubious, all in some kind of sauces, yesterday's foam is mixed with today's pasta of a different kind. In short, I can understand when old furniture, worn-out linen, but when it is clean! Doesn't deserve four stars, IMHO.

Breakfast was always the same, dinner changed. The choice of food is small, and most importantly - there is no water at dinner! Absolutely not. As they said at the reception: "You do not have all-inclusive, either buy at the bar or bring your own." I won't go there again.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time. I liked the food: a large selection of dishes, cooked deliciously. We were on half board, it was enough, there was not even a desire to dine, we ate in the morning. During the season, it may be noisy, as there is a water park and an amusement park nearby. With small children, I would not go to this hotel during the season. Cleaned for 7 days only 3 times, but the towels were given with a margin. There was a kettle in the room, but in fact there was none. Shampoo, soap and body lotion was only on the day of arrival, no longer replenished, but this is not critical. I didn’t like that the design of the shower was such that water poured directly onto the floor, there was no curtain, and it was constantly damp due to this, a whole puddle in the bathroom. A few ants in the room on the floor, but that didn't really bother us either. The small fridge worked well. In general, I recommend the hotel.

Hotel for the unpretentious.
We went in early September with a group of relatives: I (mother) with a child (3 years old) + two families of grandparents.
We read the reviews before going so we knew what to expect.

Accommodation:
they don’t settle here in advance, no one, neither Russians nor foreigners. Many from 7 in the morning sleep in the lobby of the hotel. If your flight arrives before check-in time, consider setting aside things that you can change into and go, such as swimming. On the basement floor (right under the hall) there are toilets, a shower and a sauna (maybe towards the end of the season when it is cooler, it will be popular, but we have never been there).

Food:
Turkish fives of 150 sq.m. With a variety of dishes, don't wait. Everything here is in a purely European manner: a small area, a minimum of variety, but what everyone gives is quite tasty. Of the minuses, I note that in the morning there is nothing special to feed the child. There is no porridge (some one appeared, but she did not inspire confidence in me). Cereals with milk, eggs with sausage and not a sweet bun, that’s actually all (although all children eat differently, maybe I didn’t discover everything for myself and the child). For lunch, 1 kind of soup (always like a cream soup, and sometimes spicy). The choice of meat was always beef, chicken (stewed, fried, spicy, sweet and sour), lamb, pork. Of the fruits, there were not very sweet (surprisingly) watermelons, apples, sometimes pears (wooden), canned (!) Peaches.

Pools:
one large with a smooth increase in depth. One small one for playing with the ball over the net. Children's with a slide-bunny standing on the side.
+ Water park (for those who take "all inclusive" - free of charge). There are two children's pools in the water park: one with a frog slide and a slide ship, the second with a large ship with slides and other entertainment. But the water in the second is cold, which is surprising, because. in all pools the water is like fresh milk.
On the slides in the water park as a whole, there is where to ride, with a child they even let me on one "adult" slide, blue. The son was overjoyed. She herself swept on all the slides, I really liked those where on cheesecakes (there are two of them).

Hotel:
Bar two. One in the pool bar (it's called "tavern" there), which is open from 10:30 to 17:30, the second "main" next to the hall and at the same time with the "dining room".
There is no water in the rooms. But if you give the bartender an empty bottle, he will fill it with water. We bought at a local store (near the entrance to the amusement park) a package of 6 bottles.
We already wrote that the whole hotel is two-story houses. The key (not a card, and even with a weighty keychain for defense))) is given one per room. The rooms are modest but quite spacious. Everything is there: a hairdryer, an iron, dishes, including a frying pan, a saucepan, a stove, etc. During our stay in our room, the shower broke down, went to the reception and explained, they fixed it the same evening. The air conditioner worked properly. The territory is quite green, there are many different plantings, but because of this, there is another minus: various living creatures crawl / fly into the room every now and then. We had an ant trail outside the front door, right up to the entrance to the bathroom. Until they crawled further, we did not bother each other.
Cleaning in our room was extremely mediocre... On one of my photos there is a photo of the bed "after cleaning", it shows that one half of the bed did not even bother to make it like the second. In fairness, I would like to note that in my parents' room (1402, my child and I lived in 4501), the cleaning was beyond praise, it was always clean, towels were changed regularly, the balcony was cleaned, incl. on the table. But since we only came to our room with the child to take a shower and sleep, we were not very upset by all of the above minuses. If you go to this hotel to sit in your room, then it will definitely disappoint you.

Beach:
As in all reviews, I repeat: it is NOT here. yes "1 line", but there is no entrance to the sea. we tried to visit the maximum number of beaches, and not just go to Nishii beach or Makronissos. About all in order:
1. the closest beach "to the right" from the hotel. walk with a stroller for 10-12 minutes. entrance to the water from one stone. there is almost no sand underfoot (in the water). But there is a beach on the shore. There is nothing special for a child to do there except for direct swimming with floating equipment. We went there to swim with fins, mask and snorkel. Marine life is certainly not the Red Sea. Basically, this is a rocky bottom, with small "craters", there are probably a dozen, probably, species of fish (in any case, I saw about as many), sea urchins, we saw a small crab, something like a sea centipede, only more and even saw how marine life ate a small octopus (!).
2. Further to the right (about 20 minutes walk) is another beach. rocky, when the tide is in, the entrance is more sandy. There are water activities for adults: parachute, jet ski, "sofa"
3. further to the right (by bus, 6-10 minutes). Nissy Beach. Large, sandy sloping entrance. VERY, VERY many people. The only beach where there is no free shower (to rinse the field of the sea), only for the feet, but it is one (!) On this entire beach. Relatives swam around the island on the right with fins and masks, they said there was something to see.
4. even further to the right Makronissos (by bus 12-15 minutes) + then another 7 minutes walk from the road. Sandy gentle entrance to the water. Much quieter than Nissi Beach.
5. left to the port (20 minutes walk). The beach stretches for about 5 kilometers. The closer to the port (and to the hotel, respectively), the more rocky the entrance. You can't get to the far side of the beach with a stroller. On the near side, the entrance to the water is along a path made of sandbags in the water, which end up with stones (at this point, an adult is already chest-deep somewhere). I put my child on my back and so we went in, and then we jumped on the waves there. In general, you can again bring a child with floating means (inflatable rings / rafts / armlets, etc.) there.

Well, for a snack, I would like to tell you about the beach, which few people write about in reviews
6. On the other (far) side of the "port" beach there is Maistrali beach. We went there by taxi for about 12-15 minutes. This is probably the best beach we've been to on this trip. Sandy gentle entrance to the water. About 50 meters from the shore (you need to swim) there is an underwater stone island where people feed fish and there are a lot of them. There are water activities for every taste, color and budget. But most importantly, rocks begin to the left of the beach. They are small, some even jump into the water from them. Swimming along them with a mask and snorkel is a pleasure. There are many schools of fish, there are grottoes and caves in the rocks, if you swim a little further. Along the water you can walk along the rocks, for example, in special. slippers and from there dive further from the shore.

evening rest:
In fact, there is practically no animation in the hotel, but they will dance with the children at the mini-disco in the evening and even give a ball :)
The first few evenings, of course, we went to the amusement park. Humanitarian prices: 12 tokens for 10 euros. If the child is older and there is only one on the attraction, then the price for children is basically 1 token, if both mine and on separate attractions are still with me, then 2 tokens. There is where to ride the child, and to ride yourself. We (adults) rode on a big ship and on a booster, the latter left a lot of impressions.
In addition to the amusement park, electric scooters were rented. For me with a child, I asked for a child seat (not available at all rental points). The cost is different, we found (to the left of the hotel) 10 euros for 2 hours. Everyone enjoyed it, myself, the child, and the parents. Just riding this scooter, we discovered the dinopark (it is located in the direction of Nissi Beach on the opposite side of the bike path). Exhibition of dinosaurs that move and growl. By popular demand, the child went there twice).

Cons: - The hotel is old, although they are trying to renovate it for the season, but the musty smell in the rooms (especially the lower floor), in the lobby, in the indoor pool area is just terrible. - there is no housekeeping service. For 7 days we were not cleaned the room, did not take out the trash, did not change the towels. We asked for several days to change our room (from the 1st floor to the 2nd). On the 3rd day we moved. And that was the only day we checked into a clean room. - nutrition. The breakfast is very poor. Dinner the first 2 days was delicious, although the choice is small. The rest of the days I had to choose at least something,because the dishes were half cooked or, on the contrary, overcooked / overcooked. Separately, I want to say about the organization of the New Year's dinner. The program included a welcome drink, a New Year's Eve dinner with a concert, and a champagne birthday cake. In fact: 1. People crowded in the cold hotel lobby for about 40 minutes, in line for punch. 2. The seating of guests took place for an hour (People stood in line), and those who came in the earliest sat at empty tables and waited for others to sit down. 3. Then everyone went for food. The buffet area is not designed for so many people, so again there was a flea market. But to give credit the food presented was delicious! The only plus. 4. Concert 🤦‍♀️. The background was normal for us at the far table. 5. At 00.10 there was supposed to be a solemn serving of a cake with champagne. But in the distribution area there was a tray with pieces of cake wrapped in a napkin.) The guests asked about champagne. But as the staff said, Champagne ended before it even started))) Apparently it was not purchased. We came with our own champagne and as it turned out, we were not allowed to drink glasses, only plastic glasses)))) And there is no champagne and drink your own as you like. I do not recommend this hotel for recreation in the first place for unsanitary conditions.…

I'll start with the fact that I'm a travel agent and have been to many places, lived both in budget hotels and in very expensive ones. I will write my review exclusively about the hotel, because I don’t understand why most hotel reviews begin with long stories about flights, screaming children at the airport or a guide who “sucks in” excursions, because this does not reflect the level and quality of the hotel itself. So, Panthea is a 4 * hotel, which corresponds to its star rating, the hotel is located on the main street of Ayia Napa - Nissi Avenue on the second coastline, but there is a wasteland in front of the hotel, so there are categories of rooms that offer sea views. Near the hotel full of shops, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes, amusement park. On the sea, the most beautiful promenade, along which in 10 minutes you can walk to the very center of Ayia Napa. The hotel has a large water park, a heated pool and an outdoor pool - everything is clean. The territory is well-groomed, green, at the end of the season it is noticeable that new palm trees are planted. There is a mini club Tukan, animation, evening shows. The rooms are renovated, clean, snow-white bed, good plumbing. The room has air conditioning, flat TV. kettle, hair dryer (requires an adapter), cups, safe - for an additional fee according to the concept of the hotel! on the first floor there is a terrace, on the second floor there are large balconies, on which there is a table and two chairs, there is a clothes dryer. the rooms are bright, the furniture is not shabby. Satisfied with cleaning. The food is good: several types of meat (I want to note the ribs in the marinade on the grill - they are divine), fish, vegetables, salads, sausages, cheeses, fruits, for dinner some seafood in a salad (ala shrimp), sweets, croissants, pancakes, coffee from coffee machines, teas, for dinner - ice cream! in many hotels ice cream - for an additional fee, in Panthea - is included in the price (we had half board: breakfast and dinner). If you have half board, like me, then take the trouble to ask what you are supposed to do and do not need to shout that the hotel held tea for dinner, because in this food system, drinks for dinner, even water, are not included in the price! and your travel agent should tell you about it! yes, the choice of dishes is not as diverse as in Turkey, but you do not come to Turkey, but to Cyprus, and this must be taken into account! We were satisfied with the food, and there were 4 of us! I also just want to say that breakfasts on the first day for any type of food are not included in the price, since you have a check-in from 14-00! and it doesn’t matter what time you arrived or how many children you brought. if! "meat" arrived at 8 am and requires breakfast for children (which is not paid), the hotel has every right to refuse. If you want to feed the children - pay! beach. yes, the hotel does not have its own beach, since the beaches in Cyprus are municipal. there is no entrance to the sea near the hotel, there are stones, if you walk left or right for about 15 minutes, then you get to the sandy beaches. sun loungers, umbrellas for an additional fee. there are European sockets in the hotel, so take adapters with you or you can get an adapter at the reception for a deposit of 4 euros.Beach towels are also on deposit + 2.50 euros for laundry.Hotel employees do not speak Russian, and they are not required to do this.but they they know English, so you can always agree.. who does not speak English - in the 21st century everyone has telephones, translators are on telephones - voila, you understand each other) I was separately pleased with wi-fi, it catches throughout the territory, a good signal (I don’t know whether from the fact that in the hotel 40% Occupancy. or always good). one evening only one child lived in the hotel, and the animator conducted an entertainment program with one kid! if my review is read by travel agents, then my request is to correctly present the hotels to tourists, the concepts and specifics of the regions, and then the tourists will understand what they paid for! I want to express my gratitude to all the staff of the hotel, who tried their best to make our holiday a success. also thanks to the girls at the reception, who went forward and gave two rooms side by side, as we requested.…

Arrived 11/28, left 12/4. They settled immediately upon arrival, the reception does not speak Russian, but they try to understand my clumsy English and the most interesting, they always understand! In winter, there are not many guests, but this is even a plus. The rooms are clean, morally not tired. We arrived, the room was cool, but the condo quickly fixed everything. The food is normal, there was always plenty to choose from, they always left full, the dishes were replenished as the end approached)) Despite the fact that there were few guests, leisure activities were organized, during the day there were games and activities such as charging, in the evening there was a mini disco, Music and competitions. We only had breakfasts and dinners, so drinks could only be taken for free for breakfast, this did not spoil the impression at all, later we retired with a bottle of wine on the balcony. Water parks and moreworked, low season after all. But for 500 € for two for the tour, we liked everything, the weather was great, I don’t know how it is in summer, but we will definitely return in autumn and winter!…

Blue beach towels are issued at the reception for a deposit of 4 euros and cost 2.5 euros per day if you hand them over for washing. For a deposit of 3 euros, you can take an adapter. Wi-fi is free throughout, we had a number 1804 behind the pool, there were no problems with the Internet, but sometimes we had to enter the password again. The room has a safe, did not specify for a fee or free of charge. On the balcony there are 3 chairs, a table, a drying rack for swimwear. On the 1st floor, the balcony is open, without a fence. On the 2nd floor, the balconies do not have a roof, the photo is clear. The territory is well-groomed, hibiscus and bougainvillea bloom, 3 cats live on the territory, a poster hangs on the canteen asking them not to feed the cats, they have special food. Cats are luxurious, well-fed, lazy and calm. I am a travel agent, but when I went to the hotel, I didn’t write anything to anyone, I didn’t ask)). The tour cost 500 euros for two for breakfast + dinner. The food is quite decent: several types of meat, good fish, not pangasius, vegetables, not many fruits, sweets of the same type: a cake a la cake and a cake with a lot of cream in the evening, buns with raisins in the morning, croissants. For dinner there was ice cream daily. The hotel also operates on an all-inclusive system, people took beer and wine. Powder drinks. Behind the pools there is a snack bar for the all inclusive concept, but it's open during the summer rather, didn't see people there in November. The hotel has several outdoor pools, and 2 indoor are not large, one is heated. Lots of sun loungers around the pool. There is trouble with the sea - it is nearby, but it is not possible to enter, the rock is like pumice with caverns, you can break your legs. If you look at the sea, 10 minutes to the right is Kamenyuka beach with a pontoon and 2 stairs for descending into the water. You need to swim carefully, because. stones, like reefs in the water, a little cleared, but not very early. Further in 500m Pernera beach, it is sandy, but there are pebbles underfoot, it is better to go in aquashoes. If you go to the left of the hotel along the coastline, then the first will be the beach of the Pier anne hotel, it is also rocky and a new pontoon with 3 descents into the water was made there. Another 10 minutes walk to the left and you can walk to Limanaki beach, it is behind the Ayia Napa marina. In summer it will be hot to walk along the embankment with children, the path is excellent, made for pedestrians and cyclists. Near the hotel there is an amusement park and a water park. In November, of course, nothing worked. The hotel has the concept of a Toucan club and they play with the children here, hold mini-discos. People played table tennis and billiards. I chose the hotel, knowing that I would be on excursions all day, the sea in November is +22, for me the water is cold, although the people are not active, but they swam. Outside the hotel there are a lot of cafes, shops, pharmacies. To the center of Ayia Napa, where the church and the monastery are half an hour walk on foot. Stops in the direction of Larnaca to the left of the hotel near the Plus supermarket. Intercity bus 711 goes to Larnaca for 4 euros. To Nissi Beach, bus 101 for 1.5 euros (back number 102). In Larnaca, you can transfer to intercity buses to Limammol, Paphos, Paralimni.
