Two ski areas - "Laura" and "Alpika"

The ski pass of the Gazprom resort is valid for 2 ski areas at once! These are 35 tracks of all difficulty levels: green, blue, red and black. For evening skiing, 12 illuminated trails with a total length of 12 km are open - real romance in the mountains!

Skiing on Laura, Alpica or both slopes - it's up to you! Changing the slopes using a ski pass is quite simple: the ski areas at the Gazprom resort are connected by lifts. From the lower station of the cable cars "Alpika" (located next to the railway station "Rosa Khutor") you can climb both the "Laura" (on the cable car A3, type of lift "3S"), and on the "Alpika" (cable cars K1 -K5).

Ride on Laura

Laura - these are cozy trails of all levels, running among the fir forest on the Psekhako ridge. Laura is ideal for teaching beginners:

Mountain Tourist Center Gazprom is the only resort in Krasnaya Polyana that offers such a service. 7 km of trails on the territory of the famous Ski and Biathlon Complex "Laura". There are two ways to get to the slope:

Alpic skiing

The new complex with a pronounced sporting purpose will be of interest primarily to well-skier skiers. The vast majority of slopes are blue. But one of the longest tracks, starting almost at the very top of the ridge, belongs to the increased category of difficulty. In addition, the interesting slope with varied terrain provides opportunities for freeriding.

Children and beginners will love Rosa Khutor too. Ski slopes for beginners are quite long here. This allows for an interesting skiing trip even with minimal skiing skills. However, the green runs have a number of intersections with more difficult slopes. Therefore, it is better for beginners not to travel alone.

You can feel safe and confident in the Children's Club. There is a comfortable modern lift - "magic carpet". It resembles a familiar escalator and quickly brings children to the top of the slide. Main lift complex Gazprom delivers to the plateau, located at an altitude of 1436 meters above sea level. The main infrastructure of the sports and tourist facility is concentrated here. 6 cable cars fan out from the plateau downwards, serving 15 ski slopes with a total length of more than 13 km.

The Gornaya Karusel sports and tourist complex is an Olympic facility. A large media village is being built, hotels, shopping and entertainment centers, sports grounds, and so on are being built. The complex is very popular among freeriders and well-trained skiers. The upper part of the slope is marked in black and red. On both sides of the lift there are Shumikhinsky and Salymovsky circuses, where virgin soil is practiced skiing on Krasnaya Polyana and backcountry. In the area of \u200b\u200bthe lower station of the third line of the cable car, there is a small section of the slope equipped with drag lifts. Track classification

Trails for beginners:
B, C, D, E - 7 runs (green and blue) ideal for beginners. These are, without exaggeration, the best tracks for training in Krasnaya Polyana. Most of them are equipped with lighting and are available for guests at night.

Trails for experienced skiers:
F - 8 slopes (black) slopes for the most experienced skiers.

Trails for the whole family:
G, H, I - 8 tracks (green, blue, red) suitable for the whole family. The widest (up to 120 m) as well as the longest (up to 1900 m) tracks are located here.

The tracks are designed in such a way that you will not accidentally enter a black track with a green one. If you are new to skiing or snowboarding, then choose the C and E drag lifts. For intermediate and advanced levels, the B and D lifts are suitable. If you are already an experienced snowboarder or skier, then the F lift is for you.

There are no extreme skiing trails or children's trails at the Gazprom ski resort.

In the station hall on the Psekhako plateau, electronic information boards are installed, which displays information about the state of the tracks and the operating mode of the lifts.

Horse rides

Horse riding routes are intended for riding in the summer and pass through picturesque places: fir forests, alpine meadows, along mountain rivers. On horseback, you can get to places such as the Semiozerie Valley, the Kogot Waterfall, and the Medvezhye Vorota Pass.

Alpine karting

In summer, you can go hiking with an experienced instructor. Visit picturesque mountain lakes, Engelman's Glade, Aishkhi Pass. Whether you can walk on your own - check with the national park office.

Walking

Summer is long here, from early April to October. You can come to the Gazprom resort on Krasnaya Polyana to just walk in the mountains, ride the cable cars. Hikes with tents for several days are organized right there.

How to get there

The same “Lastochka” will bring you from the Adler train station or from Sochi to the Krasnaya Polyana station.

Not far from the station, you need to take the 3S cable car, which will take you to the Psekhako ridge, where the Gazprom Laura resort is located.

MOVING BETWEEN RESORTS !!!

An important clarification about the cable car linking the resorts: it doesn't always work! It is mainly included in the "high" and "peak" season: most often this period lasts from the end of December to March. Moving between resorts on your own is not so easy. The distance between them is about 2 km, which is almost 20 minutes on foot!

In ski boots and with weights in the form of equipment, such a walk will definitely not give you pleasure. Or you can go one bus stop. Near Alpika there is a stop "Railway station Rosa Khutor", and at "Laura" the stop is called "Gazprom".

The trails and the upper part of Gazprom, together with other entertainment infrastructure, are located on the Psekhako ridge at an altitude of 1436 m. The first section of the cable car is located here, from which the trails begin.

- "Alpika-Service" is the oldest alpine skiing in Krasnaya Polyana. It was reopened last year after a long and careful renovation.

The pluses of "Alpika" include its suitability for off-piste skiing. It is safer than the Rose, which is full of stones and unexpected cliffs. But there are few trails. Only 5. But they are complex: only red and black.

At Gazprom, there are 23 tracks, there are blue (medium) and green (light) tracks, which are perfect for a beginner.

There are 35 tracks of all difficulty levels in the resort. There is a lighted area for evening skiing, children's training slopes.

It is here that the world's longest cable car "3S" is located (according to Doppelmayer). Its length is 5.37 km⠀

Laura Biathlon and Ski Complex

In 2011, thanks to the Olympic program on the development of Sochi as a mountain climatic resort, the construction of additional ropeways and tracks began on the territory. A ski and biathlon complex "Laura" was built on the territory of the ski resort for the 2014 Olympics, which, even after the Olympics, has been successfully functioning and accepts athletes for competitions of various levels.

Activities and entertainment of the resort

At an altitude of 1470 m "Laura" there is a ski and biathlon complex of the same name, which is used to train athletes. By the way, only here there are 12 km of cross-country skiing trails (in other resorts we ride only on snowboard and). They are located in the ski and biathlon complex

On the slope of the Alpika resort, the highest-altitude bathhouse in Russia called #NeProstoBanya is preparing brooms (do you want to steam at an altitude of 2256 meters and admire the scenery from the panoramic windows?)

The entertainment center “Galaktika” occupies 50 thousand square meters and can accommodate ~ 4000 people. Everything is done here so that guests are not bored: there is an ice rink, a water park, a bowling alley, a cinema and other entertainment.

The cheapest ski pass for an adult is for evening skiing (from 6 pm to 11 pm) in the spring season (from March 1, 2020). It will cost 1300 rubles

Optimal: morning ski pass (it costs 1950 rubles, from 8:30 to 13:30, this tariff is valid from March 1, 2020) or day.

3. Do you want to freeride and you are not quite a beginner anymore? Then it will be interesting for you to ride the "Alpike". There are not many pistes, but they are good, perfect for an average level of skiing!

4. Speaking of lunch and Alpik. There is practically no place to eat, be prepared for it! At least last year, the resort's infrastructure was poorly developed: there was a restaurant above and below, only one intermediate point could buy hot tea.

5. In February and March, it usually snows in the mountains of Krasnaya Polyana, so you won't go wrong if you plan a vacation and skiing for March: all prices become much lower, and skiing is in no way inferior to winter!

6. Accommodation on the territory of the Gazprom GTZ is quite an expensive pleasure, it is cheaper to live in an apartment in Gorki Gorod or to rent an apartment in the village of Krasnaya Polyana (the distance is about 7 km, about 7 stops at 105, 105s, 135 and 163 buses).

Cable car "3S"

On the territory of the complex, before the games, the longest circular ropeway “3S” was built. The cable car cabins run on 3 super-ropes, hence the name. In total, there are 50 cabins on the track, each capable of carrying up to 30 people at a time.

The Gazprom 3S ropeway can withstand the most extreme weather conditions, it can transport not only people, but also cars!

During the Olympic Games, the cable car helped a lot - it lifted up to 1500 fans to a height of 1600 meters to the biathlon complex in just 11 minutes.

In the summer, when buying an excursion ski pass to the highest point, everyone could ride the 3S cable car down to the Alpika-Service station and get off at the bottom, which is very convenient because The Rosa Khutor railway station (formerly Krasnaya Polyana) is located nearby, from where you can take the Lastochka train towards Sochi. Or not leave, and go up back to the topmost queue.3S booths are large, with excellent visibility, with soft, comfortable sofas.

In the winter season, 23 ski slopes are open at the resort (in 2013 there were 16 slopes), 14 ski lifts of 3 types: closed gondola lifts, open chair lifts and drag lifts (there were 6 lifts).

The total length of Gazprom's routes will be 21 km. (in 2013 there were about 15 km of tracks).

Trails for beginners:

Gazprom slopes are slopes mainly for beginner skiers and snowboarders.

True, in the upcoming winter season, new challenging tracks from Pikhtovaya Polyana should be opened, but we will be able to test them only after the resort opens. On the Psekhako plateau there is a good training trail with a drag lift. Otherwise, if the black and red ski runs are closed, then for those who love the thrill of skiing, it will be boring here. All trails are fenced, entry into the forest is prohibited.

The trails have artificial snowmaking (snow cannons are such things that, at a sufficient temperature, turn water into snow and spray onto the trails) and night lighting.

Thanks to the night lighting of the trails, everyone from Fri-Sun has a great opportunity to ride in the evening. The tracks are open until 23.00.

Cable car lifts - gondola and chair type and a drag lift on the training slope. The capacity is about 2000 people per hour. On new tracks from Pikhtovaya Polyana, high-speed chair lifts will lift riders.

The resort is officially called the "Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center". It includes several objects:

Everyone who comes to the Gazprom ski resort must visit the Galaktika entertainment center. It is located in the village of Esto-Sadok at an altitude of 540 m. A visit to the center can be combined with an excursion tour by cable car.

On the territory of "Galaxy" there are: an ice arena, bowling, a water park, a kids club with space attractions, boutiques, shops, restaurants, three cinemas, a billiard club.

The water park consists of two zones: the first is intended for winter recreation, the territory is covered. In winter, you can warm up in the Finnish sauna or hammam. A second open area is equipped for summer outdoor recreation. Older children can have a great time here, 12 swimming pools have been built, there are 4 steep slides.

How to get there

Adler can be reached both by plane and by rail. The Lastochka electric train will take you to the Gazprom ski resort. The Mountain Tourist Center of PJSC Gazprom is located not far from the Rosa Khutor resort. Stations "Gazprom" and "Rosa Khutor" are adjacent. It is easy to get here by bus, taxi or minibus.
