1) Beaches

3) Jimbaran Fish Market
This is a traditional fish market that is located in the northern part of the bay, right on the beach at the junction with Jalan Tukad Ayung. Sellers come here every morning to display their seafood. The buyers at the market are most often the majority of Bali's high-end restaurants. But there are also tourists who want to try delicious fish here on the cheap. All types of fish and shellfish are very inexpensive here, although market sellers have a stupid habit of increasing prices. The best time to visit the market is from 6 to 9 am, when the goods are freshest. You can immediately grill your fish and taste it (why take it home? Well, okay, if you’re in a villa with an equipped kitchen, but what if you’re in a hotel? Even if you’re staying in a villa, you’re probably too lazy to cook!) 
4) Jimbaran Center
Jimbaran City is a typical small Balinese town with a lot of small streets and alleys: it is a great place for a walk. Just wandering around Jimbaran is an adventure in itself, especially since the locals are smiling and friendly. The road along the beach and Jalan Uluwatu is an excellent choice, including for cycling. Well, don’t forget about the small paths that branch off from these main roads.
5) Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu Temple or Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of the six main temples that are considered the spiritual pillars of Bali. First of all, the temple is famous for its magnificent location (it stands on top of a steep cliff, approximately 70 meters above sea level).
The Uluwatu Temple is certainly one of the island's most beautiful attractions, and this area is one of the best places on the island (oh, what beautiful sunsets, and what stunning views of the Indian Ocean). "Ulu" means "upper" and "watu" means "stone" or "rock" in Balinese. Some archaeological finds found here prove that the temple dates back to around the 10th century. There are two entrances to the Uluwatu Temple - from the south and north. A cute little forest in front of the temple. The mountain serpentine that leads to the temple is reinforced with concrete walls on the side of the cliff, so the ride is almost not scary. The climb to the temple takes about an hour, and along the way you will find several observation platforms, and you will definitely want to stop there and admire the beauty. The views of the waves licking the rock are incredible! Balinese Hindus believe that the three divine forces - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva - united here into the main trinity of the Trimurti. Due to this, the temple became a place of worship of Shiva Rudra. The temple is also dedicated to protecting Bali from evil sea spirits. 
It is believed that the idea of the construction belonged to Mpu Kunturan, a monk who was also involved in the construction of a number of other important temples in Bali, such as Pura Sakenan in Denpasar, as well as in Lombok and Sumbawa.
That was about 1000 years ago. A monk from East Java named Dhang Huang Dvizhenrda believed that the Uluwatu Temple should become the place of his spiritual enlightenment. Balinese Hindus believe that he reached the highest spiritual point - oneness with the deities - when he was struck by lightning. Then the monk simply disappeared. Vanished into thin air. Until the end of the last century, it was very difficult to get into the temple, and moreover, in 1999, lightning caused a terrible fire in the temple. The temple has gone through a number of restorations.
Behind the main shrine in one of the courtyards of the Uluwatu Temple there is a statue that faces the Indian Ocean - it is the embodiment of that same monk. 
The two entrances to the temple are decorated with gates with carvings in the form of leaves and flowers, as well as a pair of sculptures in the shape of human bodies with elephant heads. The heritage of the 10th century is the solid stone gate in the courtyard. Gates like this are not usually found on the island.
By the way, Uluwatu Beach, the beach below the cliff, is one of the best internationally for surfing. Every six months the temple holds celebrations to celebrate the temple. The guardians of the temple, the royal family of Jro Kuta of Denpasar, are regulars at the festival.

What’s also interesting: the temple practically hangs over the water. But surprisingly, there are no significant signs of erosion on the shoreline below the towering cliff. Believers consider this fact to be a manifestation of divine power that protects the temple. Unlike other tourist spots in Bali, the Uluwatu Temple has a limited number of vendors selling all sorts of goods outside its walls - and thank God. When you get ready to go to the temple, put on appropriate clothing (a sarong is best, you can buy them right there). The best time to visit the temple is before sunset when the temple turns pinkish. The traditional Kecak dance is performed every day on the top of the cliff from 18:00 to 19:00 hours and is an extremely interesting spectacle. And all this for a small fee. 
By the way, there is no public transport that would go to the temple and back, so it will be difficult to get there without a tour bus or taxi. A guide is not the most necessary thing for visiting a temple, although it is useful.

Jimbaran, Bali - surf spot for a big swell
When a big swell comes, waves of 3 meters or more arise in Bali. And teaching surfing in Kuta, Canggu and other surf spots is not easy. But our students can master a new place for the gurney - Jimbaran, which “pumps” only into a large swell. Of course, Jimbaran has its quirks, but if you choose the right time, you can truly enjoy surfing!
Jimbaran— is located in a closed bay and there are no waves here during a normal swell. Expensive hotels are located here, and people usually swim and sunbathe. Silence, relaxation... But as soon as the swell hits Bali with all its might, Jimbaran is waiting for us to visit.
This surf spot works in low water. Often divided into several peaks. It is impossible to select the main one. The waves are right and left, with good walls, but sometimes quickly disappearing. Dangerous shore brake. The bottom is sandy, but there are small sharp stones and shells. Be careful.
Jimbaran is ideal for beginners and is the next step up from Kuta. There are soft waves that can be started even from foam, as they gently crumble and then form again into a new wave. This is where you can practice repeated turns to learn how to stay on the wave at all times.

But after competent explanations from the instructors, the guys began to catch waves themselves without any help! Even the capricious Jimbaran can be a joy if you know all its subtleties and features.

How to get to Jimbaran Beach in Bali
From public transport, you can get to Jimbaran Beach by bus. The most reliable transport companies here are Trans Sarbagita and Kura Kura Bus. The first company, whose buses are blue, has 2 routes passing through Jimbaran:
- The first runs from Ngurah Rai Stadium in Denpasar to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park and back. There are a total of 24 stops on the route, including Kelan, Kedonganan and Jimbaran - all located on Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai in Jimbaran.
- The second one goes from Batubulan village to Nusa Dua and has 4 stops in Jimbaran - Kelan, Kedonganan, Jimbaran 1 and Jimbaran 2.
Trans Sarbagita bus operating hours: daily from 05:30 to 21:00, interval: 20 minutes.
The second company, Kura Kura Bus, is bright green with a turtle logo and runs from Kuta (stop near the Simpang Siur interchange) and passes all the major hotels (Ayana Resort & Spa, Rimba and Le Meridien). Beach restaurants can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Bus operating hours: daily from 08:00 to 21:40; interval: every 2 hours.
